The United States Secret Service is the strongest presidential protective organization in the world. Almost every country's security organization in the world is benchmarking its organization, protective operation system, security equipments and etc. In this paper, I study largely on the protective operation system of the U.S Secret Chapter I is the introduction part. Chapter II introduces the establishment and the background of its development of the U.S Secret Service. Chapter III deals with the organization and ranking system of the U.S SS. Chapter IV consider the protective operation system of the 5.5. The main theory of the protective operation is the 'Protective Envelope Philosophy' which emphasizes the "Cover and Evacuate". Also the protective operation system is developed with the principle of the democracy and in the history of continuing assassination attempt against president. Chapter V describes the legal basis and missions of the S.S. Every protective operational mission of the U.S SS is peformed by the legal basis and democratic procedure. It is followed by concluding observation made in Chapter VI.

A fracture criterion based on the strain energy density (SED) over a control volume, which embraces the notch edge, is employed in the present paper to assess the fracture loads of some U-notched Brazilian disk (UNBD) specimens. The specimens are made of commercial graphite and have been tested under pure mode I, pure mode II and mixed mode I/II loading. The results show that the SED criterion allows to successfully assess the fracture loads of graphite specimens for different notch tip radii and various mode mixity conditions with discrepancies that fall inside the scatter band of ${\pm}20%$.

It has been reported that the pharmacokinetic behaviors of drugs which are mostly metabolized in the liver are significantly different in patients with renal failure. Theophylline(TP) is mainly metabolized in the liver (approximately 90%) and renal clearance of the drug is negligible (less than 10%). Therefore, we have investigated the changes in pharmacokinetics of theophylline in normal, G-ARF and U-ARF rats after an intravenous administration. The total body clearance of TP decreased approximately 40% in U-ARF rats. The reduced CL$_{T}$, value in U-ARF rats could be due to reduced hepatic intrinsic clearance by up to 40% since it has been published that plasma protein binding of TP and liver blood flow does not change in U-ARF rats.

The multi-piloting type progressive die for U-bending sheet metal production part is a very specific division. This study reveals the sheet metal forming process with multi-forming die by center carrier type feeding system. Through the FEM simulation by DEFORM, it was accepted to u-bending process as the first performance to design of strip process layout. The next process of die development was studied according to sequence of die development, i.e die structure, machining condition for die making, die materials, heat treatment of partially die components, know-how and so on. The feature of this study is the die development of scrapless progressive die of multi-stage through the modeling on the I-DEAS program, components drawing on the Auto-LISP, CAD/CAM application, ordinary machine tool operating and revision by tryout.

In this paper, we study the solvability of the nonlinear Dirichlet problem with sum of the operators of independent non standard growths $$-div\({\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}^{p_1(x)-2}{\nabla}u\)-\sum\limits^n_{i=1}D_i\({\mid}u{\mid}^{p_0(x)-2}D_iu\)+c(x,u)=h(x),\;{\in}{\Omega}$$ in a bounded domain ${\Omega}{\subset}{\mathbb{R}}^n$. Here, one of the operators in the sum is monotone and the other is weakly compact. We obtain sufficient conditions and show the existence of weak solutions of the considered problem by using monotonicity and compactness methods together.

Serum levels of human placental lactogen were measured by hemagglutination inhibition reaction in 26 normal pregnant state and in patients with 16 toxemia and 6 F.D.I.U. beyond their thirtieth week of gestation to evaluate their clinical usefulness. It was realized that HPL-HAIR Test Kit was easy to use and produced reliable results. The general conclusion were as follows: 1) HPL value was $6{\sim}8$ug/ml in normal pregnancy. 2) The levels in mild toxemia were similar in the normal state. 3) The levels in severe toxemia were similar or slightly lower than in the normal and mild toxemia. 4) The levels in F.D.I.U. were lower than in the normal state.

Selection and application recommendations of lightning arresters for DC electric traction vehicles are presented. To decide arrester specification such as continuous operating voltage(COV, $U_c$), rated voltage($U_R$), and nominal discharge current($I_n$), variations of system voltage and surge currents flowing arresters were analyzed in running-service of traction vehicles. System voltages increased up to 1,800V during anti-breaking. Surge currents recorded 3 times per running-service-route and their magnitudes were ranges of $150A{\sim}2kA$. From the field measurement and consideration of EN50163, COV, $U_c$, and $U_R$ for the $1,500V_{DC}$ traction vehicles were proposed.

In this paper we study the existence of global small solutions of the Cauchy problem for the non-isotropically perturbed nonlinear Schr$\"{o}$dinger equation: $iu_t\;+\;{\Delta}u\;+\;{\mid}u{\mid}^{\alpha}u\;+\;a{\Sigma}_i^d\;u_{x_ix_ix_ix_i}$ = 0, where a is real constant, 1 $\leq$ d < n is a integer is a positive constant, and x = $(x_1,x_2,\cdots,x_n)\;\in\;R^n$. For some admissible ${\alpha}$ we show the existence of global(almost global) solutions and we calculate the regularity of those solutions.

U-Eco City 테스트베드 구축사업은 U-Eco City사업 단의 타 핵심과제에서 개발된 요소기술과 타 연구과제의 기술을 테스트베드에 적용하여 각 기술의 현장 적용 시 문제점을 파악하고 보완체계를 수립해 나감으로써 기술의 완성도를 높이고자 하는 것이 목표이다. 이와 함께 테스트베드 구축의 경험을 바탕으로 국내 지방자치단체 및 해외 시장에 U-Eco City 건설 경험을 체계화하여 이를 판매하고자 하는 목표가 있다. 이를 위해서는 U-Eco City 적용 기술 평가, U-Eco City 테스트베드 대상지에 대한 종합시설계획 수립, 상세계획 수립, U-Eco City 테스트베드 구축 및 모니터링 등 전 과정의 경험과 지식을 체계화하고, 이를 국내 및 국외 시장에 적용할 수 있는 U-Eco City 구축 가이드라인의 작성이 필요하다. U-Eco City 테스트베드 구축의 1차년도 연구목적은 U-Eco City 구축 가이드라인 작성을 위한 기초연구를 수행하는 것으로 기존 U-City 추진상의 문제점을 분석하고, 생태도시와 U-City와의 연계성을 파악하였으며, U-City 구축 단계를 체계화하고, 단계별 고려사항을 정리하였다.

The generalized noncommutative torus $T_{\rho}^d$ of rank m was defined in [2]. Assume that for the completely irrational noncommutative subtorus $A_{\rho}$ of rank m of $T_{\rho}^d$ there is no integer q > 1 such that $tr(K_0(A_{\rho}))=\frac{1}{q}{\cdot}tr(K_0(A_{\rho^{\prime}}))$ for $A_{\rho^{\prime}}$ a completely irrational noncommutative torus of rank m. All $C^*$-algebras ${\Gamma}({\eta})$ of sections of locally trivial $C^*$-algebra bundles ${\eta}$ over $M=\prod_{i=1}^{e}S^{2k_i}{\times}\prod_{i=1}^{s}S^{2n_i+1}$, $\prod_{i=1}^{s}\mathbb{PR}_{2n_i}$, or $\prod_{i=1}^{s}L_{k_i}(n_i)$ with fibres $T_{\rho}^d{\otimes}M_c(\mathbb{C})$ were constructed in [6, 7, 8]. We prove that ${\Gamma}({\eta}){\otimes}M_{p^{\infty}}$ is isomorphic to $C(M){\otimes}A_{\rho}{\otimes}M_{cd}(\mathbb{C}){\otimes}M_{p^{\infty}}$ if and only if the set of prime factors of cd is a subset of the set of prime factors of p, that $\mathcal{O}_{2u}{\otimes}{\Gamma}({\eta})$ is isomorphic to $\mathcal{O}_{2u}{\otimes}C(M){\otimes}A_{\rho}{\otimes}M_{cd}(\mathbb{C})$ if and only if cd and 2u - 1 are relatively prime, and that $\mathcal{O}_{\infty}{\otimes}{\Gamma}({\eta})$ is not isomorphic to $\mathcal{O}_{\infty}{\otimes}C(M){\otimes}A_{\rho}{\otimes}M_{cd}(\mathbb{C})$ if cd > 1 when no non-trivial matrix algebra can be ${\Gamma}({\eta})$.
