  • The purpose of this study was to understand the knowledge structure through keyword network analysis for the purpose of identifying research trends in the research field of multicultural education. To this end, the research trends and intellectual structure of multicultural education were identified through network analysis of words that appeared more than 6 times in the keywords of the papers registered in the KCI (Korean Journal of Citation Index) from 2002 to 2020. Study changes were analyzed by analysis. As a result of the analysis, the first period (2002-2010) focused on multicultural society and multiculturalism, while the second period (2011-2015) additionally introduced multicultural families, globalization, and teacher education, and the third period (2016-2020), multicultural receptivity, multicultural sensitivity, and multicultural efficacy were newly revealed. The research trend of multicultural education in Korean society over the past 19 years has been confirmed that the research topic has changed from theoretical research to empirical research, and the content of multicultural education has also been specified and expanded by field and subject.

As the complexity of policies increases, the importance of establishing data-based policymkaing is growing, and studies diagnosing national R&D trends in the metaverse field are still lacking. Therefore, this paper collected NTIS national R&D information for 9,651 R&D projects promoted from 2002 to 2020. And this study looked at the current status and identified major topics based on the topic modeling, and considered time-series changes in the topics. Eleven major topics of R&D tasks in the metaverse field were derived, hot topics were service/content/platform development and medical/surgical fields of application fields, and cold topics were urban/environment/spatial information fields. Strategic R&D Management, metaverse-related laws, and institutional studies were proposed as policy directions.

  • In this study, major research trends at home and abroad were compared and analyzed in order to derive key research fields in the financial security field and to suggest directions. To this end, 689 domestic and 20,736 foreign data were collected from domestic and international academic journal DB, and major research fields related to financial security were extracted through LDA analysis. After that, hot & cold topics were derived through time series linear regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, studies related to government policy issues, personal information, and accredited certification were derived as promising research fields in Korea. In the case of foreign countries, related studies were drawn to develop advanced security systems such as cryptographic protocols and quantum security. Recently, it has become possible to apply various security technologies in Korea through the abolition of public certification. Accordingly, as changes in promising research fields are expected, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment and development of a successful roadmap for domestic financial security.

In order to examine the characteristics of the media coverage on the archives & records management topic, this study was analyzed to the difference of the press coverage by period, subject, and type of the media. In addition, this study was conducted word-frequency based content analysis and semantic network analysis to investigate the content characteristics of media on the subject. Based on these results, this study was analyzed to the differences of media coverage by period, subject, and type of media. As a result, the news in the field of records management showed that there was a difference in the amount of news coverage and news contents by period, subject, and type of media. • In the current analysis, we examine news coverage data widely used in media studies. News coverage data is usually time series data to capture the volume or the tone of the news media's coverage of a topic. We first describe the distributional properties of autoregressive conditionally heteroscadestic(ARCH) effects and compare two major American newspaper's coverage of U.S.-North Korea relations. Subsequently, we propose a change point detection model and apply it to the detection of major change points in the tone of American newspaper coverage of U.S.-North Korea relations.

According to the analysis, the study is started at embryonic study phase(third quadrant), the study topic of independent study phase(second quadrant) is a phase to be a settled independent area as a study and the topics of the study include topics of the study reflecting the situation of the times. At growing study phase(first quadrant) study topics which are closely related to the study topic are arranged, and the topics, the center of the study, are positioned at the study topics of maturity phase(4th quadrant).

  • With the recent 4th Industrial Revolution, the growth and value of big data are continuously increasing, and the government is also actively making efforts to open and utilize public data. However, the situation still does not reach the level of demand for public data use by citizens, At this point, it is necessary to identify research trends in the public data field and seek directions for development. In this study, in order to understand the research trends related to public data, the analysis was performed using topic modeling, which is mainly used in text mining techniques. To this end, we collected papers containing keywords of 'Public data' among domestic and foreign research papers (1,437 domestically, 9,607 overseas) and performed topic modeling based on the LDA algorithm, and compared domestic and foreign public data research trends. After analysis, policy implications were presented. Looking at the time series by topic, research in the fields of 'personal information protection', 'public data management', and 'urban environment' has increased in Korea. Overseas, it was confirmed that research in the fields of 'urban policy', 'cell biology', 'deep learning', and 'cloud·security' is active.

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the attributes of the online world and to analyze their influence on democracy. The research focuses on the mayoral by-elections that were held in Seoul and Busan, South Korea, on April 4, 2021. The study demonstrates the characteristics of online spaces and the polarization of the online public through news articles and user comments from the Internet. The research includes topic modeling to measure the diversity of media reports, sentiment analysis to measure online public opinion, and interrupted time series analysis to understand how a particular event influences online attitudes. A combination of these methods is used to attempt to estimate the strength of political polarity in the online environment. The study shows diverse media reports by election region and candidate, where the online public repeatedly reveals high negative and low positive attitudes towards each candidate. Moreover, political polarity can differ based on the level of interest in an election. Although voters pay less attention to a by-election than a presidential election, there is a solid political polarity in the online world. Hence, the research recommends preparing measures to alleviate the polarization as politics requires significant online participation.
