This paper determined students' ranks of difficulty on the use of materials in terms of 1) understanding the layout of the learning materials, 2) reading comprehension of the learning materials, and 3) realization on relevance to needs of the learning materials. It also determined students' 4) rank and frequency of attitude on the materials. With the data gathered through 128 survey questionnaires, 7 focused group discussions, and 10 interviews, the results were found out that there was an inappropriate assessment procedure set by this particular university. The researcher concludes that: 1) design of four types of classes by just using the two textbooks with their respective workbooks is grammar-based with limited conversation activities; 2) placement for these students in one big class size was implemented without considering their common interest and motivation and language levels; and, 3) qualification of teachers teaching these EFL students did not support students' real needs and the language program itself. Content professors who were made to teach may have the ability to input learning, but their teaching styles may differ from the ones who are real English teachers. This paper then recommends that teachers and school administration should have an appropriate placement exam before students attend the class, especially in a big class size. There could only be a few problems among students in one big class size when students' level of competence is proportioned. With this, topics and conversation activities can even be more flexible with the maneuver of art of questioning, various dimensions of thinking, strategic competence, learning attitude or behavior, etc. to ensure sustenance of communicative mode and level of interest and motivation in the classroom. Grammar-based instruction can only be taught when a need arises. Thus, the course description of each class will be able to transact the objectives ready for developing students' communication competence. Moreover, proper measurement can be utilized to validly assess the amount of students' learning and the progress of language curriculum design in terms of materials selection and teaching approach.
The generation who have had experienced computer games while growing up, are called game generation. The game generation has quite different styles of thinking and behavior from other generations. But present education methods for the game generation are not basically different from the education methods for other generations. Prensky argued that digital game-based learning is one of the few ways to meet the needs of the information age for the game generation. In this paper, we analyze the suitability of 4 design methods for educational games in comparison which were selected by the literatures survey. The suitability analysis was performed on the overall design method, the game design method, the education design method, the explicit of the design method, and the pros and cons. We suggest research topics on design methods for educational games which are needed to research in the future, based on the analyzed results.

The remarkable tendency shown in recent fashion can be the customer's passiveness, not only their feeling desire for product but also needs for product seem to be made by mass media. So this condition can be thought as the currency of energy for being subjected. The public of fashion eagerly want the fashion style to be suggested for following it. The late Freudian, Erich Fromm said that the reason why individuals demand themselves to follow the masses' move could be explained as the hope against the fear of feeling not being from staying isolated and having no direction. Escaping from this fear, individuals ought to believe the necessity of participation in public. The fashion is willing to be defined as the united condition by individuals in the hope being consolidate in masses against being solitude. Nowadays, people can share many informations with internet, the fastest medium, which makes the individuals impatient not to be isolate, thinking other people must contact the information and should feel pressure of taking part in the currency. Even though the style is considered to be awkward for following it, it's frequent exposure on mass media by celebrities wearing the style could soon make a fashion. This is able to show that many customers should incline to consider less about their style or taste, whereas lean to pursue after masses' authority. Recent consumers have propensity to avoid feeling concern about others' criticism, on the other side, they try to chase of the fashion as masses' choice for feeling peaceful. The reason why people recognize not to have clothing to wear in spite of a large wardrobe, it must reflect their needs promoted from outside influence of introducing for new styles.
In this paper, some factors such as the perspective of children, instructional materials(especially activities in textbooks for elementary school mathematics), and teacher's questioning styles are discussed as ones influenced on students' immersion in leaner-centered instruction. This discussion is based on the author's two implementations of the kind of two instructions. About the first theme, constructivists assert that even children who are in elementary school can have reflective abstracting ability. Teachers' asking questions with the belief differ from ones with traditional perspective of children, which is relevant the third factor. They value and respect learners' thinking outcomes, even though they are not sometimes wrong and have errors. Also, they have them opportunities to think different from others and to ask how they get their answers. To do these, they frequently ask open-ended questions, not closed. All of them is possible through the activities provided in textbooks. Some characteristics which can prompt such teacher's questions using activities in elementary mathematics textbooks are discussed.
The multilateral attempt for present applications of art school of thought and expression is leading modern fashion as a chapter of various artistic expression. In fashion, historic art thinking which predominated the period are source of optional inspiration not simply being generated, culminated and disappear but layout principles which can reemerge as periodical needs. In other words, the past styles are the source of inspiration of new trend of the present time and will serve as the text that give birth to yet another trend. In this study, I conducted the research on the layout principles of Modernism Architecture in aspects of pure visibility and the layout characteristics. And I analyzed cases of modern fashion which were appling architectural layout principles in the view point of formal construction dimension. As the result, the layout principles of Modernism Architecture have the characteristics of diagram linearity, geometric planarity and exclusive closing. And I was applying the architectural layout principles of Modernism to fashion. The layout principles of Modernism Architecture have the tendency of lacking history types, abstract plane partition and reductionism purity in fashion. The meaning of this study is follows: The characteristics of art school of thought are given shape by appling & analysing the architectural layout principles of historical art school of thought to modern fashion in the view point of formal construction dimension. The applied possibility of historical art school of thought as the source of inspiration about the fashion design is extended.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose useful suggestions by analyzing causal effect relationship between quality of followership, perceived style of leadership, job satisfaction and team commitment in the aviation industry. Methods: For the analysis of this study, a survey was conducted on local flight attendant. A total of 364 surveys were collected and 336 effective samples were used for analysis. And the collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. Results: The results of this study were as follows : First, In the relationship between quality of followership and perceived leadership styles, independent thinking has a positive effect on all six sub-factors of transformational and transactional leadership and active engagement has negative influence on all six sub-factors of transformational and transactional leadership. Inaddition As a result of total and direct and indirect effects, Idealized Influence of perceived leadership style indirectly influences between Quality of Followership and job satisfaction, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, Individualized Consideration, Contingent Reward of perceived leadership style have been shown to have indirect effects on team Commitment Conclusion: Based on the characteristics of followers and the type of leadership, it is necessary to develop ways to develop job satisfaction and team commitment of airline crews. In addition, flight attendant act as leaders and followers of each other depending on their work characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the relationship between leadership and followership based on the results of this study.

According to many researches, invention education relates to improvement of students' creativity and problem solving skills, which are essential in future. So effective invention education is necessary. This study is to analyze creativity factor, family background and parenting style of three korean inventors in elementary textbooks through narrative inquiry and find similarities. As a result of study, all three inventors had intellectual curiosity, originality, productive thinking and sophistication. And they were born in wealthy families and had a member who support them. Also, their parents had secure attachments to them, actively participated in their education and were the first person who found their creativity.

A found-footage film La France est notre patrie is a documentary, in which archive images are juxtaposed with intertitles, non-diegetic music and foley, by borrowing an audiovisual strategy of silent films. The filmmaker Rithy Panh has excavated the images, which had been taken during the same period as the film history of the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries in Southeast Asia and Africa under French colonial rule. This paper examines the filmmaker's methods of historiography when utilizing archive images in order to represent the past by referring to Walter Benjamin's concept of historical montage and dialectical image. As the analysis illustrates the singularity of constructive methods, which include multi-layer viewpoints and montage styles of compilation and collage, it reveals how La France est notre patrie elicits the essay film modes through its self-reflexivity, leads audience to the threshold of critical thinking about time and history and creates a discourse of counter-memory.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept concerned with Earth's rotation as passed by tenth graders whose interest in earth's rotation and learning styles were varied. To examine student's interest in the Earth's rotation, 4students (visual-verbal learning style student with much interest, visual learning style student with much interest, visual learning style student with little interest, and verbal learning style student with little interest) were chosen for study. Personal interview was used for this study. To probe students' conception in varied ways, they were allowed to make gesture and draw pictures through data collection process, except for interviews. And the data were analyzed one by one. The result of this study were as follows: First, the student with much interest was faster to answer the questions about Earth's rotation than the one with little interest. Also he comprehended better and was able to explain reasons coherently. Second, there was little difference according to student's learning style. Third, one of the repeated misconception was direction. For thinking that is the right side is the east side, students have misconception that the sun goes from right to left and stars in north sky move clock-wise.
The purpose of this study was to compare weight control behaviour, eating habits and health-related life habits according to the obesity degree by body fat percentage (%Fat) among middle-aged women. The subjects were 170 middle-aged women who lived Gunsan City, and they were assigned to one of the following groups based on their %Fat; normal weight group (18% - < 28%), overweight group (28% - < 33%) and obesity group (over 33%). The height, body weight, %Fat, the circumference of waist and hip of them were measured. Eating habits and health-related life habits were evaluated based on questionnaires. The results were as follows. Their weight, %Fat, body mass index (BMI), relative body weight (RBW), waist, hip, and waist-hip ratio (WHR) were significantly higher in the obesity subjects when compared to the normal and overweight subjects. Self-perception for weight (p < 0.001), desire for weight control (p < 0.01), and reasons of weight control (p < 0.05) were different among three groups. The main skipped meal was breakfast (67.9%), reasons of skipping meals were different among three groups (p < 0.05), and main reasons were "lose one's appetite" and "have not enough time". Food habits score for each food was not significantly different among three groups, but eating the meal on thinking with food combination in normal group was higher than overweight and obesity group (p < 0.01). Correlation coefficients of food habits score and anthropometric measurements were that salty of food was negative and food habits scores were positive correlation for anthropometric measurements and obesity index (p < 0.05 - p < 0.001). Frequency of exercise and fitting exercise for body were different among three groups (p < 0.05). Obesity group was lower frequency of exercise than the other groups. Regular diet was positive correlation with food combination (p < 0.01), taking fish (p < 0.05), taking vegetables (p < 0.01), taking bean products (p < 0.01) and food habits score (p < 0.01), frequency of eating out and snacks were negative correlation with taking fruits and fishes. Therefore, proper nutritional education for middle-aged women in obesity group is recommended regular diet, good food habits and exercise. The middle-aged women must decrease the frequency of eating out, snack and the salty foods, and increase the fruits and vegetables. They must have healthy life styles for exercise, smoking, and drinking.
