  • This study aims to identify the effects of job factors related to children's teachers on job satisfaction and present suggestions through an analysis of the modulating effects according to the type of institute. In order to achieve this purpose, this study set up a cause and effect model on teacher's efficacy, emotional intelligence, friendship, and a reward system as factors of job satisfaction and analysed them based on interviews using a questionnaire. To look into the results of the analysis, it was discovered that a reward system had the greatest effect on job satisfaction for the subjects, followed by emotional intelligence, friendship, and teacher's efficacy. In an analysis of modulating effects according to the type of institute, the effect of emotional intelligence differed significantly depending on kindergartens and day care centers. Teacher's efficacy, friendship and a reward system were not significantly different. Based on the results above, this study provides basic data for the development of strategies for children's teachers to effectively achieve job satisfaction.

However, research on how to assess developmental nursing competency has not been studied as expected. This study was done to develop and evaluate a new scale to measure nursing competency for developmental support of preterm infants. Methods: Concept analysis was done with using the Hybrid model of Schwartz-Barcott and Kim (2000), from which a preliminary new scale (30 items) was developed. To test the validity and reliability of the new scale being developed, data were collected from 122 NICU nurses at 4 hospitals in 3 cities in the Republic of Korea, from December, 2014 to March, 2015. Results: The final version of the Developmental Support Competency Scale for Nurses (DSCS-N) caring for premature infants was a 4-point Likert type scale, consisting of 19 items, and categorized as 6 factors, explaining 62.5% of the total variance. Each of the factors were named as follows; 'environmental support' (4 items), 'parental support' (3 items), 'interaction' (3 items), 'critical thinking' (3 items), 'professional development' (3 items), and 'partnership' (3 items). The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient for the scale was .83 and the reliability of the subscales ranged from .60~.76. Conclusion: The psychometric evaluation of the new scale demonstrated an acceptable validity and reliability. Findings indicate that the DSCS-N can be used as the tool to test the effect of educational programs for nurses and contribute to advance developmental care for preterm infants.

Q-sorting : based on 1 to 9 point scale (forced normal distribution), the selected P-sample rated their operant definition of breast feeding. 5. Determination of Q-type : with Q-sorts, PC-Quanal program identified the three Q-types. 6. Analysis of Q-type : the characteristics of three different attitude had been analyzed based on the typal array, extreme comments, and subject$\sim$s demographic information. The results revealed that there are three different altitudes nth regard to breast feeding : Instinct oriented attitude, Science oriented attitude, and Convenience oriented altitude. • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to make a diagnostic classification and discuss a diagnostic strategy of floppy infants by investigating clinical, neurological, electrophysiological, and genetic analysis of infants admitted to intensive care units with the complaint of hypotonia. Methods : A retrospective study was performed from Jan. 1993 to Dec. 2005 in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units of Seoul National University Children's Hospital. Clinical features and all tests related to hypotonia were investigated. Results : There were 21 cases of floppy infants admitted to intensive care units. Final diagnosis was classified as centra (7 cases[33.3 percent]), peripheral (11 cases [52.4 percent]), and unspecified (3 cases [14.3 percent]). Among the central group, three patients were diagnosed as hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, two patients as Prader-Willi syndrome, one patient as chromosomal disorder, and one patient as transient hypotonia. Among the peripheral group, four patients were diagnosed as myotubular myopathy, three patients as SMA type 1, two patients as congenital myotonic dystrophy, one patient as congenital muscular dystrophy, and one as unspecified motor-neuron disease. Motor power was above grade 3 on average, and deep tendon reflex was brisk in the central group. Among investigations, electromyography showed 66 percent sensitivity in the peripheral group, and muscle biopsy was all diagnostic in the peripheral group. Brain image was diagnostic in the central group, and Prader-Willi FISH or karyotyping was helpful in diagnosis in central group. Morbidity and mortality was more severe in the peripheral group Conclusion : Classification of diagnosis by clinical characteristics in this study, and application of investigations step by step, may provide an effective diagnostic strategy.
