실시간 패킷 스케줄링을 위한 수락 제어 알고리즘 (Admission Control Algorithm for Real-Time Packet Scheduling)

  • 실시간 트래픽 전송에서 종단간 지연시간 한도를 보장하기 위한 방법으로 EDF 알고리즘을 이용한 실시간 패킷 스케줄링에 대한 많은 연구들이 있어왔다. 그러나, EDF기반 패킷 스케줄러는 비실시간 트래픽이 존재하는 경우 실시간 트래픽의 실시간 요구조건을 보장할 수 없게 된다. 본 논문에서 EDF 알고리즘을 사용하는 실시간 패킷 스케줄러에서 비실시간 트래픽을 고려하는 패킷 스케줄러 기법과 수락 제어 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 제안하는 수락 제어 알고리즘은 유사 다항 시간(pseudo-polynomial time)의 시간 복잡도를 가지지만 실험을 통해 적은 수행 시간 부담으로 사용할 수 있음을 보였다.

복부 할로잉 운동에서 실시간 초음파 영상 피드백의 사용 효과 (The Use of Real-Time Ultrasound Imaging for Feedback during Abdominal Hollowing)

  • Purpose : This study examined the feedback effect of real-time ultrasound imaging on the thickness of transversus abdominis(TrA), internal abdominal oblique(IO) and external abdominal oblique(EO) during abdominal hollowing exercise(AHE) in crook lying. Methods : We performed this study on 30 healthy men who voluntarily consented to participate in this study after listening to its purpose and method. All subject were divided into an experimental group(n=15) with using the real-time ultrasound imaging feedback(RUIF) and a control group(n=15) without the RUIF The thickness changes between rest and AHE were compared between the two groups in crook lying. Results : The difference in TrA and EO thickness changes between the groups were significant in crook lying (p<0.05). Conclusion : The group with using real-time ultrasound imaging feedback showed a higher increase in the thickness of TrA than the other group without real-time ultrasound imaging feedback. And the thickness of EO in the group with using real-time ultrasound imaging feedback decreased than the other group without real-time ultrasound imaging feedback. If the muscle thickness can be regarded as an indicator of muscle activity, RUIF will be helpful for inducing the independent activity of TrA by reducing the activities of abdominal muscles such as EO.

Speeding up the KLT Tracker for Real-time Image Georeferencing using GPS/INS Data

  • A real-time image georeferencing system requires all inputs to be determined in real-time. The intrinsic camera parameters can be identified in advance from a camera calibration process while other control information can be derived instantaneously from real-time GPS/INS data. The bottleneck process is tie point acquisition since manual operations will be definitely obstacles for real-time system while the existing extraction methods are not fast enough. In this paper, we present a fast-and-automated image matching technique based on the KLT tracker to obtain a set of tie-points in real-time. The proposed work accelerates the KLT tracker by supplying the initial guessed tie-points computed using the GPS/INS data. Originally, the KLT only works effectively when the displacement between tie-points is small. To drive an automated solution, this paper suggests an appropriate number of depth levels for multi-resolution tracking under large displacement using the knowledge of uncertainties the GPS/INS data measurements. The experimental results show that our suggested depth levels is promising and the proposed work can obtain tie-points faster than the ordinary KLT by 13% with no less accuracy. This promising result suggests that our proposed algorithm can be effectively integrated into the real-time image georeferencing for further developing a real-time surveillance application.

  • An approach to efficient implementation of real-time control systems is presented in this paper. A compiler for translation of control algorithms is used in combination with a general program for real-time control. The compiler translates control algorithms written for the simulation in a design language to an implementation language. The translated algorithms are then automatically incorporated in the real-time control program.

소득불평등과 경제성장의 상호영향력 분석 (An Empirical Analysis on the Relationship Between Income Inequality and Economic Growth)

  • This study analyzes the relationship between income inequality and economic growth. Gini coefficient (market income), the deciles income inequality index and per capita real GDP were analyzed. Furthermore, various cointegration tests were tried to improve the reliability of the test results. From the weak exogeniety test of between per capita real GDP and the Gini coefficient (market income), per capita real GDP has a weak exogeneity while the Gini coefficient is endogenous. From the various cointegration tests, we found out that there is a cointegration between Gini coefficient and per capita real GDP. Moreover, it is estimated that per capita real GDP has a positive effect on the Gini coefficient (market income). In the VAR Granger causal analysis, per capita real GDP affects the Gini coefficient (market income), but it is difficult to say that the Gini coefficient (market income) always has an effect on per capita real GDP. Also, the impulse-response function of the VAR model shows that per capita real GDP temporarily reduces the Gini coefficient (market income), and then increases it over time. Accordingly, it is necessary for the policies to improve not only the distribution structure but also income distribution through economic growth.

  • This paper describes a method that is integrated trace for real-time virtualization environment. This method has solved the problem that the performance trace may not be able to analyze integrated method between heterogeneous operating systems which is consists of real-time operating systems and general-purpose operating system. In order to solve this problem, we have attempted to reuse the performance analysis function in general-purpose operating system, thereby real-time operating systems can be analyzed along with general-operating system. Furthermore, we have implemented a prototype based on ARM Cortex-A15 dual-core processor. By using this integrated trace method, real-time system developers can be improved productivity and reliability of results on real-time virtualization environment.
