Matching Analysis between Actress Son Ye-jin's Core Persona and Audience Responses to Her Starring Works (배우 손예진의 코어 페르소나와 주연 작품에 대한 수용자 반응과의 정합성 분석)

  • Persona is an actor's external ego constructed by playing various roles, and his/her another self-portrait in the eyes of the audience. This study was conducted to analyze persona identity containing core persona(CP) and to gain implications for the growth strategy of the actress Son Ye-jin called "melo queen" by verifying consistency between the CP and audience responses to her starring works of the past. According to the related theories and models, the persona was firstly set as image, visuality, personality and consistency, and it was used to extract and sort descriptive texts about Son related news articles in the last 5 years of the six major Korean newspapers using the content analysis method. After that, we analyzed the number of viewers of her movies and the audience share of her dramas by genre. As a result, Son's persona components were found to have a proportion for 54.2% images (34.0% for melo and romance images, 20.2% for non-melo and romance images), 25.6% for visibility, 13.8% for consistency, and 6.4% for personality. Her CP was derived from a melo and romance image. Comparing this with the audience reaction, the melo romance genre dominated and showed consistency in the drama, but in the case of the film, the non-melo romance was dominant and did not match each other. The results were attributed to a wide gap between dramas and movies in terms of key viewers, box office factors, degree of genre hybridity and experimentality. Therefore, Son should actively use her CP in the drama and challenge the various roles in order to expand her persona spectrum in the film.

  • The aim of this study was to analyze the semantic network structure of keywords and the visual composition of images extracted from Instagram in relation to the multi-persona phenomenon with in fashion imagery, which has recently been attracting attention. To this end, the concept of a 'secondary character', which forms a separate identity from a 'main character' on various social media platforms as well as on the airwaves, was considered as the spread of multi-persona and #SecondaryCharacter on Instagram was investigated. 3,801 keywords were collected after crawling the data using Python and morphological analysis was undertaken using KoNLP. The semantic network structure was then examined by conducting a CONCOR analysis using UCINET and Netdraw to determine the top 50 keywords. The results were then classified into a total of 6 clusters. In accordance with the meaning and context of the keywords included in each cluster, group names were assigned : virtual characters, relationship with the main character, hobbies, daily record, N-job person, media and marketing. Image analysis considered the technical, compositional, and social styles of the media based on Gillian Rose's visual analysis method. The results determined that Instagram uses fashion images that virtualize one's face to produce multi-persona representation s that show various occupations, describe different types of hobbies, and depict situations pertaining to various social roles.

  • "The Legend of Princess Bari" mostly accepted the story and character of the Myth of Baridegi. Each player has their own storyline from the beginning. "The Legend of Princess Bari 2" was released less than a year after the release of "The Legend of Princess Bari 1," but it fell short of creating additional contents from its original version. However, "The Persona4" applied and transformed the Myth of Inajagi & Ijanami according to our present time. The protagonist's each have their own designated "Persona" skills and Ijanami is their ultimate enemy. Interestingly, each player starts with the same storyline but all have different endings. Based on the existing story elements of Persona series, various genres of games were produced through remakes and spinoffs.

  • The Digital Space that is generated by combining the development of computer technology with the imagination of utopia is entering upon the new phase no more playground than the space of creation. This study focused on the persona of digital space included the digital game and the virtual world. This paper compared with the persona formation processes -creation, activity, death phase- and interpreted the distinctive features of digital game and virtual world. This is a valuable study for avatar design in digital game and virtual world.

Extraction of An Improvement Plan of Day Care Center's Interior Environment Design Reflecting Persona Characteristics -The case of Jounno Ward Silver Center- (페르소나 특성을 반영한 데이케어센터 실내환경디자인 개선방안 도출 - 종로 구립 실버센터의 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • As part of alternative of elderly problems in the future super-aging society, this study aims to extract an improvement plan of interior environment design of Seoul-type day care centers to expand in future by observing day care centers as medical and healing environments, from the perspective of user experience. For this study, after selecting major activity areas of representative cases of Seoul-type day care centers, user behaviors in the space were observed and 4 seniors of baby-boom generation who are potential uses were chosen as personas by reflecting characteristics of healthy elderly, physical aging, mental aging and infirm elderly, from the perspective of user experience. Based on previous studies on healing environments, these characteristics and demands of personas were classified into environmental aspects, physical aspects and mental aspects to extract an improvement plan. The study results are as follows. First, interior environment design reflecting persona characteristics helps the elderly adapt to the environment and provides a comfortable environment like home for stability, treatment and recovery of memory. Second, interior environment design reflecting persona characteristics helps psychological healing through light entering the large windows and natural environment elements. Third, for interior environment design reflecting persona characteristics, finish materials with bright and soft colors should be used to change the images of facilities positively. Fourth, spatial composition should be remedied through division of space and built-in furniture depending on the needs of users for loitering of extra time and programs.

A Semiological Study of Kim Soo-Young′s ″A Variation of Love″ (사랑의 변주곡에 대한 기호학적 접근)

  • "A Variation of Love" is a characteristic Kim Soo-Young poem, in that it embodies the poet′s innovative use of language and proceeds speedily, like many of his other poems. Above all, the poem reveals the core of Kim′s poetical spirit, his speculation about love. The poem is difficult to understand because it broadly uses run-on lines and even run-on stanzas, a technique that many readers are unfamiliar with. The semiological approach of this paper will bring new light on the poem by restructuring the relationship between signs, that is, by taking apart the sign system of the original text and reconstructing its sentence structure. If we rearrange the poem from its original six stanzas and fifty-one lines to four stanzas and twenty-three lines, we will discover a close connection between stanzas 1 and 2, and between stanzas 3 and 4. Of the many keywords of the poem, we may establish the dominant word as "love," into which every poetic word converges and from which each word emanates. Another important keyword is "fatigue of the city" in stanza 4. Similarly negative aspects of the city may be found in the line "the same may be said of Bombay, of New York, of Seoul" in stanza 3, as well as in the words "desire" in combination with "the lamplights of Seoul like leftovers in the pig sty" in stanza 1. The persona of the poem tries to overcome the "fatigue of the city" by "love," but the way he realizes love is, somewhat peculiarly, through stillness and silence. The persona aligns "the stones of the peach and the apricot and the dried persimmon" with the his faith in love. He calls the stones "beautiful hardness" presumably because that hardness (the stillness and silence) may blossom into beauty. In the earlier stanzas, the persona′s quest for love results in an awareness that love is omnipresent, but the persona determines "not to shout it out loud." The reason for this determination is found in stanza 4. Those who experience the "fatigue of the city" will be able to realize it by themselves. This seemingly defeatist conclusion by no means suggest pessimism, for the persona holds the conviction that "there will come a day when [one] will rave for love." This conviction rescues the poem from the dismal mood suggested by the "fatigue of the city." At all events, it is important to note that the "fatigue of the city" should not be considered apart from "love." Yet, strangely enough, the poem embodies a severe critique of the city, and further investigation is necessary in order to clarify why this critique appears in the form of "love." But this will be the treated in another paper.

  • This study is a study to develop a model for measurement and processing of experience data, which is emerging as a core value in quality management of medical services. In the theoretical background, a literature study was conducted on the importance of experience in medical service, measurement and processing of experience data, and realization of patient-centeredness. Based on these literature and theoretical background research results, operational definitions were performed for the following four research variables, and statistical tests were conducted. Hypothesis 1 is the effect of measuring experience data from the perspective of three factors on persona modeling, Hypothesis 2 is the effect of persona modeling on service blueprint visualization, Hypothesis 3 is the effect of service blueprint visualization on realization of patient-centeredness, and Hypothesis 4 is persona modeling This is the effect that modeling has on the realization of patient-centeredness. After data-based testing of factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, all four hypotheses were adopted as a result of verification using regression analysis. In conclusion, in an era where it is difficult to recognize the value of having only good medical staff and medical equipment in hospitals, it was possible to grasp the meaning that what kind of medical service experience is continuously obtained is more important to patients than the effectiveness of medical staff and medical equipment. In the era of the service economy, the core of hospital service competitiveness is providing attractive experiences, which is the real strength of hospitals, so the measurement and processing of experience data, which is the subject of this study, will have an important meaning in realizing patient-centeredness and realizing smart hospitals.

To this end, we analyze the literature and prior research on design subjects in the intensive course system and non-face-to-face environment, analyze the requirements of teachers and students in charge of actual design subjects, and propose a utilization plan through expert review, and apply the persona technique. presented.   • The purpose of this study is to present guidelines for service design for efficient operation of Maker Space due to the proliferation of Maker Movement. First, we investigate the literature survey and prior research on the definition and status of Maker space. Second, we performed video ethnography, participant observation and in-depth interview on maker space service by qualitative survey method. Third, we analyze the surveyed contents and present guidelines such as Persona or Blueprint for maker space. We classify Maker space into general lab and professional lab, derive Persona from each Maker space, and establish Blueprint to provide guidelines for design and operation. It is expected that the Maker space service design presented in this study can be used as a guideline to help the service improvement of the existing Maker space and the planning, design and operation of the new Maker space.

  • The Korean wine market is growing year by year recently especially in Off-trade market. It shows not just a part of the very few consumer-driven trend. The purchases of wine is always not so easy because the risk factors and failure points occur when buying wines. Most of wine consumers feel difficulties when buying wines at phase of previous step, buying step and after buying step. Wine consumers can be divided into the wine experts, wine lovers, novices, outsiders. To guide an wine buying with less failures to each representative of wine consumer characteristics and needs, user persona and scenario for the reduced failure were derived.
