유교와 대순진리회의 심성론(心性論) 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Theories of the Nature of the Mind in Confucianism and in Daesoon Jinrihoe)

  • 심성론(心性論)이란 말 그대로 인간이 지닌 마음의 본성에 대한 것을 설명하는 것이다. 다시 말해서 인간은 마음이란 것을 지니고 있는데, 그것이 과연 무엇인가, 그리고 어떤 성품을 지녔는가를 알아보는 것이다. 여기에서는 유교의 심성론과 관련시켜서 대순진리회의 심성론을 이해하려 하였다. 유교와 마찬가지로 대순진리회에서도 마음에 관한 문제는 중요한 주제이다. 『전경』에서 제시한 마음에 대한 개념은 신과 연결되어 있다. 그런데 여기에서는 마음이 선하거나 악하다는 전제가 마련되어 있지 않다. 다만 마음은 인간과 우주의 중심이며 모든 사물이 마음에 의존하고 있다는 의미를 제시하고 있다. 마음의 작용에 따라 선과 악이 드러나는 구조라고 이해된다. 『대순진리회 요람』에는 양심과 사심에 대해 언급하고 있다. 양심을 공자의 인(仁), 또는 맹자의 양지(良知)로 이해한다면 보다 발전된 논의가 이루어질 수 있다고 본다. 그렇게 본다면 양심이 바로 마음의 본성이 되며 또한 인간, 또는 마음의 본성은 선하다는 결론에 이를 수 있다. 심성에 관한 논의는 증산이 지속적으로 강조하고 있는 일심(一心)이라는 주제와 관련해서도 설명될 수 있다. 양심과 사심이라는 두 가지 마음을 제시하지만 본래의 마음이란 천성으로서의 양심일 뿐 사심은 허상에 불과한 것으로 성인(聖人)도 생각하지 않으면 광인이 된다는 주자의 설명처럼 자세히 살펴 그것이 허상에 불과함을 깨달아야 하는 것이다. 그래서 본래의 일심인 양심으로 돌아올 때 증산이 강조한 일심이 된다. 말하자면 사심이란 본래 없다가 물욕으로 인해 생겨나는 욕심이다. 인심도심론은 선진시대로부터 이후의 성리학에 이르기까지 마음을 이해하는 주요한 설명체계 가운데 하나였다. 도심은 선천적인 천성, 천리로부터 비롯된 것으로 순수하게 도덕적이고 선하다는 것이 주자의 도심에 대한 이해이다. 이에 비해 인심은 그 자체가 불선은 아니지만 감각기관에 의해 나타나는 모습과 욕구에 따라 불선으로 발현될 수도 있는 것이다. 그런 면에서 보자면 양심을 도심으로 바꾸어도 차이는 없겠으나 사심을 바로 인심으로 대치하는 것은 다소 무리가 있어 보인다. 다만 사심이 허상에 불과하다거나 아니면 마음이 정으로 드러날 때 사적인 욕심의 영향으로 드러나는가, 본래적 도심이나 양심으로 드러나는가에 따라 달리 드러날 뿐 본래 마음은 하나라고 이해한다면 가능하다.

학령전 아동의 마음의 이론과 양육 방식과의 관련성 (Relationship between Preschoolers' Theory-of-Mind and Parenting Style)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between preschoolers'theory of mind and parenting style. The mothers of 66 3- and 4-year-olds were given questionnaires eliciting information about parenting style, SES, number of younger and older siblings, the time child spends with mother. Three variables were positively correlated with theory of mind: age, number of older siblings, and affective parenting style. The time spent with mother was negatively correlated with theory of mind. Factors most strongly affecting theory of mind were child's age and mother's affective parenting style. The resets are consistent with recent research showing that parenting style may be important for theory of mind understanding.

어머니의 마음의식, 양육스트레스 및 양육행동과 유아의 정서지능 간의 관계 (The Relationships between Maternal Mind-mindedness, Parenting Stress, Parenting Behaviors and Preschoolers' Emotional Intelligence)

  • This study explored the relationships between maternal mind-mindedness, parenting stress, parenting behaviors and preschoolers' emotional intelligence. The subjects consisted of 107 preschoolers and their mothers. The result of this study are summarized as follows; First, maternal mind-mindedness had an indirect effect on parenting behaviors through parenting stress. Second, maternal mind-mindedness had a direct impact on emotional intelligence. These results clearly indicate that maternal mind-mindedness plays a crucial role in parenting behaviors and preschoolers' emotional intelligence.

뇌(腦)와 심(心)의 한의학적 상관성에 대한 연구 (Study on the Relationship of Brain and Heart Based on Oriental Medicine)

  • This study aims to define the relationship between brain and heart through several literatures about oriental medicine and the conclusions are as follows. Heart in oriental medicine is called as Sinmyeongjishim(神明之心) which has a close connection with Mind, Consciousness, Emotion, and Physiological instinct of Drain in modern medicine. According to Oriental medicine, Brain stores Wonsin(元神) as Heart stores mind(神). Heart is where mind rests whereas Brain is where mind reveals. The external evidences that prove the relationship of Heart and Mind are as follows: First, with ears, eyes, mouth, and nose the subject of cognition is recognized as Sinmyeongjishim(神明之心). Second, Bulin(不仁), which means decreased movement power and sensibility of limbs, proves that Sinmyeongjishim(神明之心) is involved with movement power and sensibility of limbs. The physiological evidences that prove the relationship of Heart and Mind are as follows; First, Heart as the operation of Sinmyeongjishim(神明之心) manages language. Second, Heart is related with Tongue. Third, Heart is linked to Ears through the ear hole. Fourth, Heart is a store of Mind. Fifth, the five viscera control emotional and psychological activities. The pathological evidence of the relationship of Heart and Mind is that the symptoms of heart disease which are related to Sinmyeongjishim(神明之心) are also related to the functions of Brain. Though Brain has a close connection with Heart in oriental medicine, it is recognized that there are distinctive symptoms of disease of Brain and Hyeolyookjishim(血肉之心) respectively. The relationship of Heart and Brain has been researched in this study, even though there are not enough written materials about oriental medicine. But the fact that the majority of Heart operation is deeply connected with Brain activities cannot be denied. Therefore the research of Heart should be done as well as Brain in the clinical study of Brain.

노인의 마음 다스리기 경험 (The Experience of Mind Control among Elderly in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to understand the meaning of mind control as it is understood by elderly persons in Korea. Method: This study was conducted by engaging three elderly persons who are over the age of sixty five and presently residing in Seoul. Several in depth interviews were conducted with these individuals from March 2003 until November 2003. The contents of the interviews were analyzed using the Giorgi Method (1985), which places the emphasis on discovering meaning within the phenomenological context of an individual's experience. Results: The analysis of the contents revealed the following four components with regard to the meaning of mind control for elderly persons (1) Settling the mind (2) Gradual lowering of expectations and hope for the success of offspring, (3) Having good thoughts and acting accordingly, and (4) Making up one's mind to follow the 'natural flow of life'. Conclusion: By allowing a wider and deeper understanding of the meaning of mind control for elderly persons the results of this study provide a basis for improving the care of elderly with a holistic perspective.

마인드맵 온라인 교육 콘텐츠가 대학생의 고등사고능력 및 자기주도적 학습태도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of mindmap online educational contents on college students' higher thinking ability and self-directed learning attitude)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop online educational contents and verify its effectiveness in order to strengthen the learning capabilities of college students. The theme of mind map online education contents is a mind map series for effective learning arrangement, and has been developed into a total of six contents. Each contents consisted of 20-30 minutes, and the details consisted of the concept, principle, learning case, how to write a mind map, and how to use a digital mind map. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was confirmed that the higher thinking ability of college students who took the mind map online education contents was improved. Second, it was confirmed that the self-directed learning attitude of college students improved after taking the mind map online education contents. Third, the reason why students' higher thinking ability and self-directed learning attitudes improved in this study is that they were developed in consideration of the composition of contents and appropriate video time. Therefore, in order to increase the effectiveness of online educational contents, it is necessary to examine specific cases using concepts from conceptual approaches to specific topics, and to faithfully reflect the procedure in which each learner can actually use the concept.

마인드맵이 감정노동과 소진에 미치는 효과: 암전문병원 외래간호사를 중심으로 (Effects of the Mind Map for Emotional Labor and Burnout: A Survey of Nurses in Outpatient Departments of Cancer Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to develop and evaluate the effect of a mind map for relief of emotional labor and burnout among nurses in outpatient departments in cancer hospitals. Methods: We developed a mind map to reduce emotional labor and burnout. A quasi-experimental study was used with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected from December 2012 to April 2013. Participants were 35 nurses working in the outpatient department of a cancer hospital. The experimental group participated in the mind map program biweekly for 10 weeks. Data were analyzed using $x^2$-test, Mann-Whitney U test, paired t-test, and Wilcoxon sign rank test with the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: The physical burnout and total burnout scores decreased significantly in the intervention group which took the mind map program. Conclusion: Findings indicate that the mind map is an effective intervention to reduce burnout in outpatient department nurses.

경락(經絡)과 정신양생(精神養生)의 관계 설정(設定)에 대(對)한 고찰(考察) (A study on the relationship between Meridian and hygiene of mind)

  • It is thought that Kim Hong-kyeong followed the existing theory of Meridian(經絡) and supplemented his unique perspectives in interpreting it. And he tried to relate Meridian with hygiene of mind. I took up with the research on the assumption that the review of Kim's method can present new perspectives to the study of relationship between Meridian and hygiene of mind. The results of my study are as follows: 1. Kim followed common theory of Meridian and then added his unique perspectives to it. His method of interpretation has one characteristic. By introducing Idealism(唯心論), he understood 'Meridian' as the path of the mind and the emotion. Especially I think his hypothesis that acupuncture can be widely used in mental diseases as well as body related diseases and its applications to treatment are very valuable. 2. Meridian and hygiene of mind are close together. I think Kim's unique trial is something new in studying relationship between Meridian and hygiene of mind but requires more research on it.

성명(性命)으로 본 정(精)과 신(神) (Mind and Spirit Seen by Human Nature and Life)

  • Human nature, life, mind and spirit have very important meanings for Oriental medical science. This is because understanding human mind and spirit not only makes treatment of people easier and more accessible but also provides us a clue for finding out something we lost. As a consequence of investigating various classic books by ancient medical practitioners and Taoist scholars s as follows: l. Mind and spirit were valued very highly in Oriental medical science, and this can be found in classic books like , , , and . 2. To cure people, acquirement of detailed knowledge of mind and spirit should be preceded. 3. The Taoist school regarded mind, spirit, human nature and life as critical agents of health care and perceived that they were indispensable for going back to The Great Emptiness(Nothingness before the First Cause), the ultimate goal of Taoist learning. 4. Although human nature, life, mind and spirit have different names and different users, it is like theory and practice and we can see that ancient sages used them all in the same context of natural law.

마인드 맵 활동을 통한 학교 안전교육의 활성화 (The Mind Mapping To Activate the School Safety Education)

  • Mind mapping is an efficient thinking skill which utilizes the whole left-right brain. The several studies which examine the effects of the mind map activities on the school education attain the desirable enhancement of the students' schoolwork achievement & learning attitude. We now propose the utilization of the mind map activities at the safety education in order to decrease the students' accidents in school and to enhance the awareness of safety.
