Recently, as the awareness of the necessity of entrepreneurship education has spread in secondary education, the competency of educators in the field of education has become more important. This study tried to derive the priority of education needs by exploring the competency of educators to practice entrepreneurship education and the result from analysis of the difference in importance and performance. For conducting the analysis, this study conceptualized entrepreneurship education competency based on the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) model and developed a questionnaires to measure those competencies. Using TPACK and developed questionnaires, a survey was conducted on 217 secondary school teachers who were interested in entrepreneurship education, and derived the difference between importance-level and current-level was analyzed with a t-test. As a result of the study, for all sub-factors of TPACK, the mean of importance-level was higher than the mean of current-level, indicating that educational prescription was required. Also, as a result of analysis of Borich's requirements and The Locus for Focus Model, it was found that the factor with the highest priority in education was CK(Content Knowledge). Based on the results of study, implications for strengthening competencies for entrepreneurship educators were derived.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factor of principals' trust in teachers which principals of secondary school recognized and to explore their needs on building trust in teachers. For this purpose, this study used survey question of which investigated conception of principals' trust in teachers and performed with 296 secondary school principals. First, gap of two statuses was proven by t-test. Second, the order of priority was presented by Borich model. Third, the result of the locus for focus model was presented in the form of coordinate plane. Lastly, top priority and the second priority were determined. The result of this study was as following. 'Class management, instruction, and caring for students' category is highest in needs of secondary school principals on trust in teachers. Next, second priority category is 'partnership with parents'. It means secondary school principals recognize that students and parents are most important on education and their trust in teachers. Based on the review, finding and implications are discussed.

Korea's construction engineering companies are facing difficulties in deterioration of international construction profitability because they focus on traditional engineering fields such as design and construction supervision. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen competency of high-add-value engineering field such as Project-Management-Consultancy (PMC). This paper aims to suggest the strategies to enhance the international PMC competency. This study identified the competency factors for international PMC, using Borich needs assessment and Locus for focus model. As a result, step-by-step strategies were suggested according to the competency level in domestic engineering companies. The results of this study will assist Korean engineering companies to consider the important competencies for international PMC projects. Furthermore, enhancement strategies are going to be proper references for domestic engineering companies which prepare the international PMC project.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of experts in childhood education field on what is the primary core competency of the beginning childhood teachers to cope with the future society. For this, the survey was conducted for 252 of teachers in charge, assistant directors, and directors who are currently working at the daycare centers and kindergartens in Busan and Gyeongsangnamdo. In order to derive the requirement and priority on the core competencies required to beginning childhood teachers, 3-step analysis method of paired t-Test, Borich Needs Model Analysis, and the Locus for Focus was used. As a result, seven sub-competencies of five competencies of cooperation, communication, self-improvement and development, vocational ethics, and emotional intelligence was identified as the core competencies required by priority to the beginning childhood teachers in order to cope with the future society. These results may provide the basic data for designing the competence and field-based curriculum in the teachers' training schools for pre-service childhood teachers.

This study aims to explore the digital citizenship education of pre-service teachers through deriving the needs for digital citizenship of pre-service teachers and analyzing their perceptions. To this end, an online survey was conducted on pre-service teachers enrolled in a graduate school of education, and data from 245 respondents were collected and analyzed. The needs assessment was prioritized by synthesizing paired t-test, Borich needs assessment, and the locus for focus model. The results of the study were as follows; first, when synthesizing the analysis of needs, the priority of digital citizenship of pre-service teachers was 'self-protection'. Second, pre-service teachers were aware of the need for digital citizenship education and were willing to participate in it. They hoped that it would be taught in an extra-curricular program or teacher education courses. Based on the study results, the direction of education to strengthen the digital citizenship of pre-service teachers was discussed.

The importance of SW quality is also rising as the usage of SW is increased in the areas of society. The development of SW quality competency of the human resource is essential for ensuring the quality of SW product, and the details of it should be reflected firstly in the demands of industrial sites. In this paper, the needs assessment and the training priorities were identified by IT Test and IT Quality Assurance based on National Competency Standards(NCS). T-test, Borich's need assessment model, and the Locus for Focus Model were conducted for determining training priorities. As a result, top and post training priorities were drawn from the redundancy check and some related implications were suggested.

Recently, Recently, the increase in international trade volume and the explosive increase in cargo volume due to the non-face-to-face society are leading to an increase in risk exposure and safety accidents in the port industry. In addition, as the Serious Disaster Punishment Act came into effect on January 27, 2021, various guidelines and laws to protect safety and life in port terminals are being enacted. However, despite these efforts, medium-to-large safety accidents in the port terminal industry continue to occur. According to the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, from 2016 to 2019, the number of casualties in the port handling industry increased by 4.2%. For effective follow-up management of port accidents or the preparation of related safety laws/systems, a risk analysis in consideration of the cause and damage of the accident must be conducted first, so that realistic accident reduction and prevention measures can be established. Therefore, in this study, major risk factors and preventive measures were derived by conducting risk assessment based on 1,039 cases of port terminal accidents collected by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency for 5 years from 2016 to 2022. After that, the priorities for preventive measures were determined through IPA analysis, Borich needs analysis, and The Locus For Focus analysis.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for consumer-oriented curriculum development by analyzing the priorities of subjects and their preference for educational methods. Methods: The participants included 773 management supervisors and education practitioners in the workplace, and a survey was conducted from April 17 to August 30, 2019. Frequency analysis, t-test, Borich's Needs Analysis, and Locus for Focus Model analysis were performed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS 21.0. Results: The highest perceived priorities for education subjects were as follows: ① 'CPR and First Aid Practice' and 'Occupational Disaster Prevention and First Aid Basics' in the manufacturing industry; and ② 'Emotional Labor and Job Stress Prevention', 'Occupational Disaster Prevention and First Aid basics, and 'Musculoskeletal Disorder Prevention' in the service industry. 'Collective education' was the most preferred method of education. 'School-type' was preferred for the seating arrangement, and the proper number of trainees was considered to be about 30. Respondents said the contents of the education was a top priority when they applied for education, and curriculum and appropriate textbooks should be considered in calculating the cost of education. Conclusions: Practical subjects and subjects related to major hazards by industry were required for management supervisor education. It was proposed in this study that the contents and operating methods of education be changed so that workers can easily comprehend essential subjects such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act. In conclusion, it is necessary to design the curriculum and apply educational methods suitable for each subject's characteristics in consideration of the priorities for subjects reflected in the needs of trainees.

Purpose: This study used a descriptive investigative design to identify educational needs for developmental supportive care for the purpose of establishing a developmental supportive care education program for nurses in neonatal intensive care units. Methods: A survey was conducted on 93 nurses working in neonatal intensive care units located in a metropolitan area, and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired t-test with the SPSS 25.0 program. For the purpose of analyzing educational needs, we further analyzed data through an importance-performance analysis (IPA) and the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus models. Results: The average importance of the developmental supportive care of nurses in neonatal intensive care units was 3.74±0.78 out of 5, and the average performance was 3.46±0.81 out of 5. A t-test on the difference between the IPA and Borich needs assessment showed the highest educational need in the categories of 'individualized care', and 'I serve on the Developmental Care Committee at my institution'. In addition, according to the results of deriving the priorities of educational needs using the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus model, the highest priority was 'I provide appropriate pain management when noxious procedures are necessary'. Conclusion: These findings can be used as basic data to design a developmental supportive care program suitable for nurses in neonatal intensive care units to meet the educational needs for developmental supportive care.
