스마트 기기 기반 응급 처치 교육 콘텐츠의 기능성 게임 요소 분석 연구 (Analysis of Serious Game Elements of the Contents for Smart Device Based First-Aid Education)

  • 우리나라는 최근 세월호 사건 등 안전 불감증으로 인한 많은 사고로 인해 수많은 인명피해를 입었다. 따라서 안전교육이 어느 때 보다 중요한 시기이며 여기에는 '어떤 콘텐츠로 어떻게 교육할 것인가'가 중요한 주제이고 특히 안전교육의 특성상 이론 교육이 아닌 체험 교육이 효과적이다. 그러나 이런 안전교육 프로그램을 접하기란 쉬운 일이 아니며 안전교육의 일환인 응급 처치에 대한 교육은 공공기관을 통해 의무적으로 배우지 않으면 접할 기회가 많지 않아 아직까지도 우리나라의 안전 교육에 대한 프로그램 활성도는 미미한 수준이다. 본 논문은 이런 문제를 인식하고 의료 응급처치 교육을 위해 재미와 몰입을 가미한 효과적인 기능성게임을 제안한다. 이를 위해 응급처치 정보 애플리케이션 20가지 사례를 통해 의료 게임 5개를 분석하고 기능성게임의 지속 사용성을 높이는 5가지 요소를 도출하였다. 5개의 의료게임분석을 통해 1개의 게임을 선택하여 게임 방식을 차용하고, 5가지 요소를 level-up 구조, 반복학습, 보상결과, 경쟁 구조, 정보전달의 형태로 적용하였다. 제안된 의료 교육 기능성 게임은 1) 환자의 역할을 하는 캐릭터가 있어야 하며, 2) 상황을 보여주는 내러티브 흐름에서 3) 사용자가 상황을 판단하고 응급 처치를 하도록 유도해야한다. 또한 4) 보상과 레벨 그리고 단순하게 반복하는 기능이 디자인되어야 하며 5) 커뮤니티로 타인과 정보가 공유될 수 있어야 한다. 향후 본 연구의 결과로 구현된 콘텐츠는 우리나라 의료 응급처치 교육의 대중화에 기여할 것이라 사료된다.

Makeup Design and the Application of 3D Facial Avatar Makeup Simulation

  • The purpose of this study is to design appropriate digital tools for the production of makeup designs. In this study, we used a three-dimensional facial avatar simulation program developed by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research. This study is based on the creation of three-dimensional CG digital art of facial avatar makeup, produced by using simulation technology. First, the actual application and the tools for digital-optimization and media features were created, leading to the research and cleanup. Second, the theoretical background was applied to the formative elements of oriental colors in the designing process. Makeup design elements include point, line, surface, color, and texture. In this study, effective makeup design was interpreted to be based on the representation of particular elements, notably the design principles of balance, proportion, rhythm, repetition, emphasis, contrast, harmony, and unity. In Asia, design is based on the visibility of red, blue, black, yellow, and white-the colors of the five elements-and the use of points, lines, and shapes. This study was recently under scrutiny in relations to digital simulation and various three-dimensional designs, in terms of how to take advantage of a wide range of applications, and how to apply the findings through media and the dissemination of basic research. This study applies the characteristics of the limited existing stereoscopic three-dimensional and digital simulation programs in order to take advantage of the empirical research, providing a basis to implement this research in a meaningful way. A follow-up study is needed to extend these findings and theoretical foundation through continuous observation and in-depth technical development and research.

VR 게임 <엘더 스크롤 V : 스카이 림 VR>의 시각 요소 연구 (Research on the Visual Elements of VR game )

  • 최근 VR 기술이 점차 발전하면서 다양한 가상현실 게임이 상업화되고 있다. 특히 사용자들에게 인기 있는 다양한 대형 3D 온라인 게임들이 VR 게임으로 변화하기 시작했다. 은 대형 3D 웹캐스트 의 파생 게임으로서, 2018년 4월 Steam 게임 플랫폼에 발표되었고, 독창적인 UI 디자인으로 사용자의 몰입식 체험을 극대화하여 VR 게임 선두 자리를 굳건히 지키고 있다. 게임의 시각적 유사성이 높지만, UI에서 나타나는 시각 요소에는 큰 차이를 보이고 있다. 본 논문은 게임에서 몰입감을 높이기 위한 캐릭터, 장면, UI Design, 색상 및 폰트의 시각적 UI 요소에 대해 연구하였으며, 향후 신형 VR 게임의 몰입식 체험을 위한 독창적인 인터페이스 디자인에 대하여 연구하였다.

제19대 대통령 선거포스터에 나타난 시각표현 요소 연구 (A Study on Visual Elements in the 19th presidential election poster)

  • 본 연구에서는 제19대 대통령 선거 주요 대선주자 후보인 5인을 분석 대상으로 선거포스터에 나타난 시각 표현 요소인 레이아웃, 색채, 사진, 타이포그래피를 분석하고자 하였다. 후보자의 선거포스터 이미지를 분석하고, 연령대별 시각표현 요소 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 문재인 후보는 산뜻한 느낌이 나타났으며, 유승민 후보는 깨끗한 이미지를 부각하며 문재인 후보와 동일하게 레이아웃과 색상에서 높은 선호도를 나타냈다. 홍준표 후보는 연령별 선호도가 가장 다양하게 나타났으며, 가장 파격적인 포스터를 선보인 안철수 후보 또한 연령별 선도가 다양하게 나타났다. 친근한 이미지를 부각한 심상정 후보는 모든 연령대별 시각표현 요소의 선호도가 레이아웃, 색상, 사진, 타이포그래피 순으로 나타났다. 따라서 선거포스터에 나타난 시각표현 요소를 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 후보자들이 주장하고자하는 메시지를 정확하게 내세워야 할 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 주관적인 표현보다는 유권자에 대한 폭넓은 이해와 분석으로 예술적, 학문적으로 더욱 발전 할 수 있도록 객관적 연구가 지속되어야 한다.

회전 디스크-스핀들, 액츄에이터와 지지구조의 유연성을 고려한 하드 디스크 드라이브의 고유 및 강제 진동 해석 (Free and Forced Vibration Analysis of a Hard Disk Drive Considering the Flexibility of Spinning Disk-Spindle, Actuator and Supporting Structure)

  • This paper presents a finite element method to analyze the free and forced vibration of a hard disk drive (HDD) considering the flexibility of a spinning disk-spindle with fluid dynamic bearings (FDBs), an actuator with pivot bearings, an air bearing between head-disk interface and the base with complicated geometry. Finite element equation of each component is consistently derived with the satisfaction of the geometric compatibility of the internal boundary between each component. The spinning disk, hub and FDBs are modeled by annular sector elements, beam elements and stiffness and damping elements, respectively. The actuator am, E-block, suspension and base plate are modeled by tetrahedral elements. The pivot bearing in the actuator and the air bearing between head-disk interfaces are modeled by the stiffness element with five degrees of freedom and the axial stiffness, respectively. A global matrix equation obtained by assembling the finite element equations of each substructure is transformed to a state-space matrix-vector equation, and both damped natural frequencies and modal damping ratios are calculated by solving the associated eigenvalue problem with the restarted Arnoldi iteration method. Modal and shock testing are performed to show that the proposed method well predicts the vibration characteristics of a HDD.

중국 전통 여성복 디자인 요소의 조형적 분석과 전통복식을 융합한 현대 중국 여성복 선호도에 관한 연구 (A study on the formative analysis of Chinese traditional women's clothing design elements and preference of modern Chinese women's clothing reflecting traditional clothing)

  • In order to reflect traditional elements in modern design, designers should be able to creatively apply elements of traditional Chinese clothing. To understand this, a deep understanding of and insights into the traditional clothing culture are required. In this study, the characteristics of traditional Chinese women's clothing from the Wei, Jin, and Northern and Southern Dynasties of China to the Qing Dynasty were analyzed by dividing them into silhouette, color, pattern, materials, and detail. The characteristics of the silhouette were classified into A, H, X, and O types, of which types A and H were the most common. As for the color characteristics, there are relatively many five cardinal colors, and for the contrast of colors complementary colors were mainly used. As the for pattern characteristics, real patterns, animal patterns, character patterns, geometric patterns, and mixed patterns were used. Four types of materials were mainly used: silk, hemp, cotton, and wool. The detail characteristics were also anlyzed by classifying them into collar, sleeve, neckband, and gusset. Based on the results of this analysis, a satisfaction survey was conducted on the design of modern Chinese women's clothing. The result of satisfaction with design elements showed that the images of vest and suit were most preferred, H and X silhouettes, and yellow and white were the most preferred. Geometric and plant patterns were preferred, as were silk and acetate materials. Based on the result of chi-square analysis of design element preferences according to the characteristics of the subject, there was no difference according to occupation, residential area, or income, and there were differences in silhouette, color, materials, and detail according to age.

초고온성 고세균 Thermococcus onnurineus의 개미산으로부터 바이오수소 생산을 위한 통계적 배지 최적화 (Statistical Optimization of Medium for Formate-driven Bio-hydrogen Production by the Hyperthermophilic Archaeon, Thermococus onnurineus)

  • Medium compositions for the hyperthermophilic archaeon, Thermococcus onnurineus NA1 was statistically optimized to enhance formate-driven hydrogen ($H_2$) production by using response surface methodology. From the Plackett-Burman design-based experiment, it was confirmed that among the minor components of medium such as KCl, $MgSO_4$, $NH_4Cl$, Cystein-HCl, trace elements, Fe-EDTA and $CaCl_2$, the trace elements were screened as the only positively effective components with respect to $H_2$ production. Subsequently, the optimal concentrations of the trace elements and the major components of a medium such as NaCl, yeast extract and sodium formate were determined from the five-level central composite design (CCD)-based experiment. The resulting quadratic model predicted the maximum $H_2$ production of 46.6 mmol/L in serum bottle and it was validated experimentally using the optimal medium initially supplemented with 26.70 g/L of NaCl, 9.81 g/L of sodium formate, 3.50 g/L of yeast extract and 4.59 mL/L of trace elements. From the duplicate batch cultivations in the fermentor using the optimized medium, the a maximum $H_2$ production rate up to 71.8 mmol/L/h could be obtained, which was a 65% enhanced value compared with that obtained using the control medium, showing the high efficiency of the optimized medium.

의료용 기능성 게임의 품질평가 요소 추출 (The Extraction of Quality Evaluation Elements for Medical Serious Game)

  • 최근에 의료용 기능성 게임의 긍정적 효과가 입증되면서 사용자를 위하여 품질평가가 중요한 이슈가 되었다. 품질평가는 객관적인 기준과 평가요소 개발이 중요하다. 기능성게임의 품질평가는 프로그램적인 기술적 영역과 콘텐츠적인 비기술적 영역으로 나누어 진행된다. 본 연구에서는 품질평가 모델 개발 프로세스에 따라 심리 치료게임과 헬스 재활 치료게임에 대해 비기술적인 영역의 품질평가 요소를 개발하였다. 두 종류의 의료용 게임에 각각 5가지의 평가 요소를 추출하고 타당성을 확보하기 위해 의료 전문가들의 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 추출된 요소는 적합도 검사를 실시하여 검증하였다. 두 집단에 대한 카이제곱검정 결과는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 본 연구 결과는 의료용 기능성게임을 설계하고 개발하는데 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

임플란트 수술환자의 치과의료기관 선택요인: 청장년층 20~64세를 대상으로 (Dental institution selection factors for implant surgery among young adults aged 20-64 years)

  • Background: This study was aimed at investigating factors influencing the selection of dental institutions for implant surgery among young adults (age: 20-64 years) and identifying differences in these factors according to general characteristics. Methods: We conducted an internet survey for approximately 2 months, from April to July 2022, and analyzed data from a total of 128 people. Dental institution selection factors included three items of convenience of transportation, five items of physical environment, three items of image of institution, five items of image of dental staff, five items of dental service, and four items of basic dental elements. The importance score for each item was investigated on a five-point scale. Results: The importance score for each dental institution selection factor was the highest for dental service (4.42 points), followed by basic dental element (4.00 points), physical environment (3.89 points), image of institution (3.81 points), convenience of transportation (3.76 points), and image of dental staff (2.78 points). The importance score for each item was the highest for dentists' technique, followed by cleanliness, reliability, and dentists' attitude. Women had higher average scores for all factors compared to men, with statistical significance in scores for convenience of transportation, physical environment, image of institution, dental service, and basic dental elements (p< 0.05). Conclusion: To attract patients seeking implants to a dental institution, attention should be paid to the patients' institution selection factors. In addition, the environment of a dental institution should be created in such a way that it favors patients' selection factors.

화장품 플래그십 스토어의 브랜드 아이덴티티와 브랜드 인지도의 영향관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Brand Identity of Cosmetic Flagship Stores on Brand Awareness)

  • Recently, cosmetic shops play important roles in effectively delivering brand identity to customers. As a most effective mean to deliver brand identity to customers, a shop becomes the space to sell and buy brand image. This study divides brand identity into external identity as a space and internal identity as a brand philosophy with analysis of brand identity structure. To do this, the study proposition that brand awareness is high when there is high conformity between brand identities and survey to five Korean domestic cosmetic manufacturers that have a flagship store has been conducted to prove the proposition. With oneway Analysis of Variance on the survey, the result that the conformity between group's brand identities has significant relationship with brand awareness has been drawn. The findings are as followings; The spatial expression elements that have the strongest effects on the conformity between brand identities are facade, logo and sign, spatial image, fixtures image, symbolic sculpture and programs in order. For spatial elements, colors, shapes and materials have effects on conformity between brand identities in order. With analysis of spatial elements and their colors, shapes and materials, it is shown that all brand colors are used. In addition, brand conformity is emphasized with shapes and materials as well as colors. Futhermore, the brand awareness is improved when emphasis with such spatial elements is repeated in continuous manner. Also, the higher brand identity got, the higher brand awareness went up.
