  • A new era with the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution certainly brings new opportunities for human to explore human's activities outside of the Earth. After the Apollo program, exploration for lunar resources and establishment of lunar base seem to be in reality. This could be due to new findings by the LCROSS and LRO proving the advanced scientific development and new scientific results about the moon from Asian countries including China with Chang'E missions. It is expected that fossil fuels will be in shortage in the near future and at this time, Helium-3 could be an energy resource as a replacement of the fossil fuels. At present it is well known that countries like Russia, USA, and Europe will continue to investigate on lunar exploration especially with landers toward future human activities on the moon to establish a lunar base. With this point of view, it is important for human to understand lunar resources and prepare for prospective utilization of lunar resources. This review paper considers on a point of view in both lunar resource exploration and establishment of lunar base.

  • The unmanned aerial vehicle that emerged with the 4th Industrial Revolution attracts attention not only from Korea but also from around the world, and its utilization and market size are gradually expanding. For the first time, it was used for military purposes, but it is currently used for transportation, investigation, surveillance, and agriculture. China, along with the US and Europe, is emerging as a leader in the commercial unmanned aerial vehicle market, and Korea, which has the world's seventh-largest technology in related fields, is striving to promote various technology development policies and system improvement related to unmanned aerial vehicles. Military drones will revolutionize the means of war by using a means of war called an unmanned system based on theories such as network-oriented warfare and effect-oriented warfare. Mobile equipment, including drones, is greatly affected by environmental factors such as terrain and weather, as well as technological developments and interests in the field. Now, drones are being used actively in many fields, and especially in the military field, the use of advanced drones is expected to create a new defense environment and provide a new paradigm for war.

  • This study attempted to propose a plan to develop smart disaster prevention by applying the technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution at each stage of disaster management to cope with the catastrophic situation of fire accidents. To this end, 150 disaster prevention experts and disaster prevention consumers were set as research subjects, and research data were collected and statistical analysis was conducted by distributing questionnaires. The main result was that disaster prevention experts and consumers commonly regarded the systematic factors of smart disaster prevention as the most important, and the difference in perception of the importance of each smart disaster prevention component was not statistically significant. Based on these results, this researcher suggested that in order for Korea's smart disaster prevention technology to develop, it is important for many researchers to research individual smart disaster prevention technologies, but above all, systematic R&D on how to manage, integrate them, and apply them in actual situations should be most preemptively.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a strategy to educate the core contents of various major fields in practical and convergent ways in universities in order to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution era. First, convergence field is established in the university curriculum in addition to the existing major and the liberal arts field. Second, convergence courses are created in connection with job ability, which are major curriculum but only for students in other departments. Third, convergence courses are organized in the form of module curriculum, which is a small-sized and independent curriculum consisting of 4 courses. D University, one of the local private universities in Korea, has provided such convergence module education since 2016, and satisfactory results have been obtained in the course enrollment rate and the course evaluation, etc. By combining these convergence modules in various ways, it is possible to easily create customized majors required and designed by local companies at low cost.

  • With the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the number of data-centric integrated researches increases. The integrated researches make information identification and linkage more important, so it is necessary to seek a method to efficiently manage and share academic-information for supporting the researches. Therefore, this study aims to analyze identification system and linkable information types of 12 major academic search engines and bibliographic databases(ASEBDs) in Korea and abroad and to propose a method to identify and link academic-information. The analysis was conducted 2 times, and academic-information types, searchable fields, linkable information types, used identification system were investigated. As a result, the ASEBDs link directly or/and indirectly 3~4 information types based on their own identifiers with persistent identifiers. In addition, they identify academic-information semi-automatically based on machine learning methodology and collect and manage the related data. Finally, the method for academic-information linkage was proposed in terms of practice and society: linkage based on persistent identifiers and linkage based on collaborative network of institutions.

  • In line with the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, 5G technology has become common technology, and 5G technology is evaluated as a technology that minimizes the speed and response speed compared to 4G using technologies such as network slicing and ultra-multiple access. 5G NR stands for 5G mobile communication standard, and network slicing cuts the network into parallel connections to optimize the network. In addition, the risk of hacking is increasing as data is processed in the base station unit. In addition, since the number of accessible devices per unit area increases exponentially, there is a possibility of base station attack after hacking a large number of devices in the unit area. To solve this problem, this study proposes the introduction of quantum cryptography and 5G security standardization.

This paper analyzed domestic paper trends for 'Artificial Intelligence', 'Machine Learning', and 'Deep Learning' among the domestic papers provided by the Korea Academic Education and Information Service. There are approximately 10,000 searched papers, and word count analysis, topic modeling and semantic network is used to analyze paper's trends. As a result of analyzing the extracted papers, compared to 2015, in 2016, it increased 600% in the field of artificial intelligence, 176% in machine learning, and 316% in the field of deep learning. In machine learning, a support vector machine model has been studied, and in deep learning, convolutional neural networks using TensorFlow are widely used in deep learning. This paper can provide help in setting future research directions in the fields of 'artificial intelligence', 'machine learning', and 'deep learning'.

  • Adverting of the 4th Industrial Revolution, maker education is emerged as a new paradigm and related studies keep increasing, As ideal human resources model has been changed. For this study, 65 theses on maker education were reviewed. The study has mainly analyzed the key factors for applying maker education in school. Though this study, it hopes to propose how further maker education studies should be developed. From the theses, 1.4 percent of the maker education program is actually usable in regular school class. For utilizing this education, it requires prior training and needs computer facilities. Most programs were designed as fusion form in more than two subject and included cooperative activities and sharing time. Further studies should be conducted on the application of education programs of within regular classes of school, recommended tools based on the school levels and prior training for tools, established the Makerspace in schools, shared student's output, evaluated students, and teacher training.

  • Cloud computing has been activated globally due to the demands of the 4th industrial revolution and the efficient use of IT resources, and domestic usage is also increasing due to legislation and related laws. However, domestic financial companies are subject to various regulations due to the importance of their information and the ripple effects of accidents such as outflows. Only non-critical information processing systems that handle non-critical information are allowed to use cloud computing. Financial companies are required to set specific criteria and judgment to distinguish them. In this paper, we propose a method to enable the financial company cloud computing to be more active by specifying the ambiguous non - essential information processing system designation standard and making it easier to designate.
