  • The purpose of this study analyzed the overall attitude and perception of course evaluation of nursing students, and suggested improvement direction of course evaluation. The sample consist of 428 A-university students in J province. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 program using ANOVA, t-test, and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test. As a result, it was confirmed that nursing students participated in course evaluation with a careful and correct response attitude, and course evaluation result was reliable. The instructor should share the process of improving the class by reflecting the evaluation results so that the students can recognize the purpose and importance of course evaluation. In addition, it suggested that it is necessary to develop items of a course evaluation reflecting the characteristic of nursing such as clinical practice courses and to revise the evaluation system.

  • Crickets have been attracting considerable interest in the field of nutrition and toxicology due to the global exhaustion of food resulting from a growing population. The cricket is normally eaten in several countries after roasting, similar to the grasshopper; however, safety evaluation data on cricket powder is limited. Here, we performed general toxicity studies of cricket powder including a single, 2-week repeated dose range evaluation test, a 13-week repeated oral dose toxicity test in Sprague-Dawley rats, a single oral dose toxicity test in Beagle dogs, and a skin sensitization test in guinea pigs following the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development test guidelines 406 and 408 in addition to Good Laboratory Practice. To investigate the NOAEL and target organs of cricket powder, Sprague-Dawley rats were allocated to 4 groups: vehicle control, 1,250 mg/kg, 2,500 mg/kg, 5,000 mg/kg dose test groups and cricket powder was administered over 13 weeks after single dose and dose range finding studies in rats based on the results of the single oral administration toxicity study in rats and Beagle dogs. The results of the study showed that the NOAEL of cricket powder was over 5,000 mg/kg for both sexes of rats without adverse effects in a 13-week repeated oral toxicity study and there was no skin hypersensitivity reaction. Therefore, our results reveal that crickets can be widely used as a new substitute food or nutrient resource.

  • Lots of developments and changes are happening with ICT utilization in the field of education. However, most teachers can't feel the practical efficiency in an evaluation. Specially, they are not keeping and using continuously the evaluation result. Therefore they cannot reflect the results in continuous learning activity of a child. We developed the test management system that supplies the forms, which facilitate the control of the various test items and are suitable for the test types. Through this system, teachers can easily design the tests and develop the content of evaluation. They can improve educational efficiency using various perspective evaluation results.

  • This study includes field test results for performance evaluation of a tubular turbine in marine small hydro power plant. Minimum output power of the tested turbine generator is examined with using of the measured effective head, output power and efficiency. For the rated and maximum output power tests, corrected values from the result of turbine model test are used for the performance evaluation, because experimental conditions of field test at the rated and maximum output powers are restricted correctly. Performance of the test turbine shows good conformance with the suggested guarantee values of output power and efficiency at the measured points of minimum, rated and maximum output power.

  • The synthetic breaking test method was developed to evaluate the breaking performance of ultra high-voltage circuit breaker and made up of two independent circuits; current source circuit and voltage source circuit. In application of this test method, it is necessary to extend the arc of the test breaker. So, the new re-ignition system using VTGS (Vacuum Triggered Gap-Switch) was constructed to improve the efficiency and reliability of this test. In this re-ignition system, VTGS operates in high vacuum state of $5{\time}10^{17}$torr and control system consists of the triggering device and the air M-G (Motor-Generator). This re-ignition system showed the operating characteristics, such as delay time ($t_d$) and jitter time ($t_j$ not exceeding 5us and 1us respectively, and had the operating voltage of $25\~150kVdc$ at the gap distance of 24mm.

  • A performance evaluation of the 200 N-class GCH4/LOx small rocket engine was performed through ground hot-firing test. As a result, the combustion pressure and thrust raised with the increase of the oxidizer supply pressure, and thus the specific impulse, characteristic velocity, and their efficiency increased. The characteristic velocity was measured at about 90% performance efficiency. The change of chamber aspect ratio did not affect the performance of the rocket engine in the test condition specified. In addition, uncertainty evaluation was conducted to ensure the reliability of the test results.

  • Built-In-Test is a design feature in more and more advanced weapon system. During development test and evaluation(DT&E) it is critical that the BIT system be evaluated. The BIT system is an integral part of the weapon system and subsystem. Built-In-Test assists in conducting on system and subsystem failure detection and isolation to the Line Replaceable Unit(LRU). This capability reduces the need for highly skilled personnel and special test equipment at organizational level, and reduces maintenance down-time of system by shortening Total Corrective Maintenance Time. During DT&E of weapon system the objective of BIT system evaluation is to determine BIT capabilities achieved and to identify deficiencies in the BIT system. As a result corrective actions are implemented while the system is still in development. Through the use of the reiterative BIT evaluation the BIT system design was corrected, improved, or updated, as the BIT system matured.

  • In this study a safety evaluation method is presented for a ADAS vehicle to be tested in collision situation when multiple vehicles are present on a single lane. Test scenarios are developed based on Euro-NCAP assessment scenarios, accident database and related simulation results in previous works. An automated evaluation system that is called as the K-target mover is used for active safety evaluation experiments. The experiments are conducted with two types of tests. First, the rear-end collision tests with 25% and 50% overlap for the test vehicle and target vehicle are conducted with the two kinds of test vehicles. On the other hand, the rear-end collision tests which include multiple vehicles in a single lane with 25% and 50% overlaps, are also conducted. Experimental results show that the test vehicles with ADAS cannot recognize the collision situation sometimes in the developed test scenarios, even in the case that the test vehicle showed stable performance in the simple overlap scenarios.
