This study aims to evaluate the degree of malnutrition of children by three nutritional indicators-Weight for Age, Hight for Age, Weight for Height. The results are as follows; The average height and weight of children are much lower than Korea average height and weight. In terms of Weigh for Age, 20-40% of the samples belongs to below-2 standard deviation from the mean of reference group. 90% of the samples falls into the region below the mean. The standard deviation score indicates negative sign for eighty to ninety percent of the samples. The malnutrition of the samples is also confirmed in terms of Height for Age. In terms of Weight for Height, the mean of the samples is not significantly different from that of the reference group. Tests of the nutritional status under basis of three nutritional indicators show that approximately 50% of the samples had suffered from malnutrition and 17% of the samples have suffered from malnutrition.

Information about the formation and filling (in 2014 to 2016) of a terminological dictionary on electronics and radioengineering and collective work (in 2017 to 2018) with a data bank "TERMIN" is presented in this article. In purpose of creating an instrument of navigating the modern scientific-technical space a net of terms with set semantic links is described. This set is based on the analysis of terms' definitions (each term is checked for inclusion in the definitions of all other terms; the definitions were borrowed from reputable reference editions: encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference books). The created model of a system that consists of different information sources, in which it (information) is indexed by the terminology of Russian State Rubricator of Scientific and Technical Information rubrics and/or keywords, is described. There is an access for the search in all these sources in the system. Searching inquiries are referred to in the language of these rubrics or formulated by arbitrary terms. The system is to refer to information sources and give out relevant information. In accordance with this model, semantic links of various types, which allow expanding a search at different modalities of query, should be set among data bank terms. Obtained links will have to increase semantic matching, i.e., they can provide actual understanding of the meaning of the information that is being sought.

The nonparametric method was employed to obtain detailed broadband attenuation characteristics of horizontal Fourier spectra without generally assigned constraint that derived path terms be zeros at a reference distance. Instead, path terms fer a reference distance were obtained based on the physical phenomenon that the seismic phase is stable over the hypocentral distance range from 200km to 400km so that the Q-values evaluated at several distances inside that region should be the same. The inverted path terms show three distinct linear regions roughly divided by hypocentral distances at 65km and 115km. Also complex behavior at the near distance range below 100km was revealed which can not be properly fitted by combination of single $Q_{0}$ $f^{η}$ model and any geometrical spreading models.s.

This paper considers development of noninformative priors for the familial data when the families have equal number of offspring. Several noninformative priors including the widely used Jeffreys' prior as well as the different reference priors are derived. Also, a simultaneously-marginally-probability-matching prior is considered and probability matching priors are derived when the parameter of interest is inter- or intra-class correlation coefficient. The simulation study implemented by Gibbs sampler shows that two-group reference prior is slightly edge over the others in terms of coverage probability.

A new reference point location method based on an edge map is proposed, where an orientation map is defined and used to find the edge map. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively detect the core point in poor quality and arch-type fingerprint images and produces better results in terms of the detection rate and accuracy than the sine map-based method.

The recent situation on developments in an expanding field of reference and information service is reviewed through the cooperative arrangements and comprehensive planning among libraries in America. The growth of reference cooperation is examined first along with the social forces that influenced the library interdependence for service. Of the various interlibrary programs identified in relation to the cooperative reference work, interlibrary loan is viewed as the key to the use of library resources based on equal access and making use of the tools for information and research, therefore a reference principle. Several kinds of library systems specifically intended to improve the reference situation are identified and described in detail without any attempt to evaluate their performance in terms of unit size, cost, or quality of the service.

Based on the comprehensive literature search and the sample library surveys, some observations are made on the impact of online information technologies for reference services. Various issues specifically with OPAC, CD-ROM, remote database access, and internet environment are overviewed as the source of and trigger for change in reference librarianship and in terms of expectations as well as difficulties. The paper then focuses on how these technologies influence on the roles of reference librarians as intermediaries in information providing, instructing, consulting, and evaluating functions. This leads to rethinking the conceptual basis of today's reference service and the competencies for reference librarians with new functions and responsibilities.

The objective of this paper is to propose a reference model of a fire detection and monitoring system using MS/TP protocol. The reference model is designed to satisfy the requirements of response time and flexibility. The reference model is operated on the basis of BACnet, a standard communication protocol for building automation systems. Validity of the reference model was examined using a simulation model. This study also evaluated the performance of the BACnet-based fire detection and monitoring system in terms of network-induced delay. Simulation results show that the reference model satisfies the requirements of the fire detection and monitoring system.

In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the common intraclass correlation coefficient when independent samples drawn from multivariate normal populations. We derive the first and second order matching priors. We reveal that the second order matching prior dose not match alternative coverage probabilities up to the second order and is not a HPD matching prior. It turns out that among all of the reference priors, one-at-a-time reference prior satisfies a second order matching criterion. Our simulation study indicates that one-at-a-time reference prior performs better than the other reference priors in terms of matching the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

Electronic reference service was defined as reference service designed for remote users and identified by a specific link from a library' website. This study examined whether academic libraries deliver web-based electronic reference services to remote users. Particularly, four types of electronic bulletin board services, free bulletin board, FAQ, Q＆A and reference question-response service were measured in terms of 8 types of questions and 12 contents of questions. The result showed that there was few differences among 4 services. Guidelines for effective use of electronic bulletin board services in academic libraries were suggested: standardization of service names, easy access to menu services, definition of each menu, search function for contents and standard web forms.
