  • Internet telephone uses VoIP as its communication protocol, where it provides various additional services with inexpensive fare when the terminal is connected to the Internet. The existing auto provisioning systems that manage Internet telephone terminals are targeting large size VoIP service providers or enterprises, and has few consideration on the convenience of management for small size environments. The difficult installation and management procedures of the current auto provisioning systems prevents Internet telephone system from getting popular. Easy installation and management system is needed in order to spread out Internet telephone system. In this paper, we design and implement the auto provisioning system that provides easy installation and management services in small size environments such as SOHO environments.

  • VXML은 사람 목소리나 전화기의 톤과 같은 음향 입력과 컴퓨터에 의해 합성 또는 녹음된 목소리를 들려주는 음성 출력을 가지는 음성 브라우저를 위한 웹 저작 언어이다. 본 논문에서는 VXML을 이용하여 작은 규모의 회사나 SOHO 사업자들에게 최적화된 ARS 기능, 음성 인식 기술을 이용하여 음성 메시지 저장 및 지능적 검색 기능, 사용자 부재 시 착신 전환 또는 SMS 통보를 찰 수 있는 개인용 전화 도우미 (PTA; Personal Telephone Assistant)의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다. PTA는 VXML 인터프리터를 내장하고 동적으로 VXML 문서를 적재함으로써 고객맞춤형의 ARS 기능을 지원한다는 장점을 갖는다.

  • At present, communication network for subway is making use of the train radio system for main network and normally established a base station every three subway station. It is talk over the telephone between a locomotive and the traffic control for careful train service. Besides, mobile telephone equipment is using for service improve and convenience to passengers such as 011, 016, 017, 019 and what not. However, the train radio system has been occurring a various problems when a state of emergency because it is able to compose only one communication route each base station zone. We could have improving like this problems through induce the TRS(Trunked Radio System), though because have been able to compose multilateral communication route in case of linking with LCX(Leaked Coaxial) cable which is established. Therefore, we could be able to a fitting meet the emergency as train firing etc.. and efficient use of limited frequency resources.

  • Since the underwater telephone was sold in a short time, there are few repair equipments. And equipment is difficult to locate fault. Equipment with transducers must be inspected underwater, and a relative naval vessels is required to perform an operational check. So we developed a tester device to test the transmission card through the spectrum and transmission power, and to develop a device that can conduct operational tests on land. Therefore, the development of the tester reduces the incidence of naval vessels and contributes to the development of domestic underwater communication test equipment.

  • In this paper, we proposed a protocol to convert 2W telephone analog signals to Ethernet data in a private PSTN 2W tactical voice system. There are several kinds of operational problems in the tactical telephone network where 2W telephone copper lines are installed hundreds of meters away from the PBX in a headquarter site. The reason is that it is difficult to install and maintain the 2W telephone copper cable in severe operational fields and to meet safety and stability operational requirements of the telephone line under lighting and electromagnetic environments. In order to solve these challenging demands, we proposed an efficient method that the 2W analog interface signals between a private PBX system and a 2W telephone is converted to Ethernet messages using the optical Ethernet data communication network already deployed in the tactical weapon system. Thus, it is not necessary to install an additional optic cable for the ethernet telephone line and to maintain the private PSTN 2W telephone network. Also it provides safe and secure telecommunication operation under lightning and electromagnetic environments. This paper presents the conversion protocol from 2W telephone signals over Ethernet interface between PBX systems and 2W telephones, the mutual exchange protocol of ethernet messages between two converters, and the rule to process analog signal interface. Finally, we demonstrate that the proposed technique can provide a feasible solution in the tactical weapon system by analyzing its performance and experimental results such as the bandwidth of 2W telephone ethernet network and the transmission latency of voice signal, and the stability of optic ethernet voice network along with the ethernet data network.

  • Nowadays, Internet Telephony Services based on SIP are gaining an explosive increase for general user. Thus a various demands of the user about convenience of IP-PBX are growing. The most important requirements of these is hybrid IP telephony system which is connected not only internet telephone but also general PSTN telephone. Therefore, in this paper, we have developed Hybrid IP-PBX connected all type of telephony terminals for small office. We have developed FXS module for connecting all type and FXO for using PSTN telephone number also. This Hybrid IP-PBX that is can be connected Soft-phone provide various optional services. We measured voice quality and test simultaneous calling for proof of validity.

  • The use of a Microprocessor and PROM memories in an Electronic Loop Switching System has been described. The use provides telephone service for up to 128 subscriber lines using 32 trunks with increased reliability, maintenance capabilities, and flexibility. Date Communication between the central office terminal and the remote terminal is by FSK at 1-KHz rates over an idle trunk. Software functions and traffic handling capabilities are also described.

  • This paper describes the method for designing loudness ratings as transmission quality for ISDN telephone connected to fully digital network. To design the desirable loudness ratings for ISDN telephone, the model system of digital speech communication for subjective test is developed and opinion tests for establishing the optimal CODEC input level, the range of overall loudness rating, and sidetone masking rating are performed. As the results, the desirable ranges of loudness ratings are proposed as 6 to 8dB for sending, 0 to 2dB for receiving, and 10 to 14dB for sidetone masking rating.

  • We suggest the digital voice encryption module using the pseudo random number generator and design the security device of a telephone using the module. The proposed method provides encryption method of the telephone against the third party. This encryption method uses pseudo random number generator which computes the encryption key using the shared secret key and the current time value.
