신경망을 활용한 사석식 방파제의 파괴확률예측 (Prediction of Failure Probability of Breakwater using Neural Network)

  • A new approach to reliability analysis of rubble mound breakwater using neural network is proposed. At first, a neural network model which can estimate the stability number of any breakwaters for some design conditions is trained. Then, the neural network model is integrated with Monte Carlo simulation technique in order to calculate probability of failure for the breakwater. The proposed technique is compared with conventional approach using empirical formula.

  • This paper presents reasonable evaluation technique to determine system configuration of underground distribution system. To set up reasonable evaluation for a certain object region, it is necessary for methodology to access accurately factors such as economics, reliability, customer interruption cost, implementation and flexibility about proposed various configuration of underground distribution system. But it is difficult to evaluate factors as above-mentioned since there is no criterion to assess them in our country. Accordingly, having completed the technical and economical analysis and customer interruption cost of various types of system, this paper presents the most reasonable results to get the optimal configuration of underground distribution system. Also, this paper presents possible methodology which can be applied other areas having a different load characteristics by application actually making a selection Myungdong as sample area.

FTA 기법을 이용한 Compresson고장 진단

  • The application of fault tree technique to the analysis of compressor failure is considered. The techniques involve the decomposition of the system into a logic diagram or fault tree in whichcertain basic or primary events lead to a specified top event which signifiss the total failure of the system. The fault trees are used to obtain miniumal cut sets from whichthe modes of system failure and, hence the reliability for the top event can be calculated. The method of constructing fault trees and the subsequent estimation of reliability of the system is illustrated through a compressor failure. FTA is roved to be efficient to investigate the compressor fault train.

  • 개별파 최대월파량 개념을 이용하여 직립식 방파제의 마루높이를 산정할 수 있는 신뢰성 해석 모형이 개발되었다. 입사파랑이 작용하는 시간 동안 월파되는 파랑의 개수와 상대마루높이 그리고 평균월파유량의 함수로 정의되는 개별파 최대월파량과 그 허용치를 이용하여 신뢰함수를 수립하였다. 상대적으로 다른 불확실성을 갖는 관련 경험계수들을 확률변수로 고려하여 신뢰성 해석을 수행할 수 있는 Level III MCS 기법을 제시하였다. 장봉파 및 단봉파 조건에서 입사파향, 직립식 방파제의 구조형식 그리고 개별파 최대월파량의 허용수준을 변화시키면서 상대 마루높이에 따른 파괴확률을 산정하였다.

SHPB 기법과 확률이론을 이용한 고분자재료의 동적거동특성 및 건전성 평가 (Reliability Estimation and Dynamic Deformation of Polymeric Material Using SHPB Technique and Probability Theory)

  • The conventional Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (C-SHPB) technique with aluminum pressure bars to achieve a closer impedance match between the pressure bars and the specimen materials such as hot temperature degraded POM (Poly Oxy Methylene) and PP (Poly Propylene) to obtain more distinguishable experimental signals is used to obtain a dynamic behavior of material deformation under a high strain rate loading condition. An experimental modification with Pulse shaper is introduced to reduce the nonequilibrium on the dynamic material response during a short test period to increase the rise time of the incident pulse for two polymeric materials. For the dynamic stress strain curve obtained from SHPB experiment under high strain rate, the Johnson-Cook model is applied as a constitutive equation, and we verify the applicability of this constitutive equation to the probabilistic reliability estimation method. The methodology to estimate the reliability using the probabilistic method such as the FORM and the SORM has been proposed, after compose the limit state function using Johnson-Cook model. It is found that the failure probability estimated by using the SORM is more reliable than those of the FORM, and the failure probability increases with the increase of applied stress. Moreover, it is noted that the parameters of Johnson-Cook model such as A and n, and applied stress affect the failure probability more than the other random variables according to the sensitivity analysis.

  • MANET은 어떠한 인프라스트럭처의 도움 없이 이동 노드들로 구성되어 hop-by-hop 방식으로 데이터가 전달되는 구조가 블록체인과 매우 유사하다. 하지만 MANET은 이러한 특징 때문에 악의적인 노드에 의한 데이터 변조 또는 폐기 등 다양한 위협에 노출되어 있다. 이러한 이유로 전송 데이터에 대한 무결성 보장은 MANET의 중요한 보요 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크를 구성하는 노드들에 대한 신뢰도 값을 악의적인 노드들로부터 보호하기 위하여 블록체인기술을 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 클러스터 형태의 계층 구조를 이용하였으며, 클러스터 헤드만이 노드들의 신뢰도 정보를 블록에 저장하고 이를 전파할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 잘못된 블록의 전파를 차단하기 위하여 클러스터 헤드 선출에 참여하는 노드들의 수와 클러스터 헤드의 신뢰도를 이용한 블록생성 난이도 자동 설정 기법을 적용하였다. 이렇게 되면 악의적인 노드에 의한 블록 생성 및 전파를 차단할 수 있게 된다. 제안한 기법의 우수한 성능은 SAODV 기법과 비교 실험을 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

효율적인 의료진단을 위한 앙상블 분류 기법 (Ensemble Classification Method for Efficient Medical Diagnostic)

  • 의료 데이터 마이닝의 목적은 효율적인 알고리즘 및 기법을 통하여 각종 질병을 예측 분류하고 신뢰도를 높이는데 있다. 기존의 연구로 단일모델을 기반으로 하는 알고리즘이 존재하며 나아가 모델의 더 좋은 예측과 분류 정확도를 위하여 다중모델을 기반으로 하는 앙상블 기법을 적용한 연구도 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 의료데이터의 보다 높은 예측의 신뢰도를 위하여 기존의 앙상블 기법에 사분위간 범위를 적용한 I-ENSEMBLE을 제안한다. 갑상선 기능 저하증 진단을 위한 데이터를 통해 실험 적용한 결과 앙상블의 대표적인 기법인 Bagging, Boosting, Stacking기법 모두 기존에 비해 현저하게 향상된 정확도를 나타내었다. 또한 기존 단일모델 기법과 비교하여 다중모델인 앙상블 기법에 사분위간 범위를 적용했을 때 더 뚜렷한 효과를 나타냄을 확인하였다.

연구개발사업에 QFD(품질기능전개)를 적용한 시험평가 항목 선정에 관한 연구 (The Study of the Test and Evaluation Item Applies QFD in Research & Development Progject)

  • Purpose: Test & Evaluation items are main contents which verify performance of the development system and they are deduced going through project management system stages. However, there is no systematic or standardized framework for Test & Evaluation items, so a lot of differences occur between projects and people are questioning whether verification items are selected for the optimization of the development system. In this regard, this research proposes the process of deducing Test & Evaluation items in a systematic way during a development stage by applying QFD (Quality Function Deployment) technique which reflects customers' requirements. Methods: Test & Evaluation items are recognized as customers' requirements, and QFD technique which refines and gathers various requirements of customers effectively during general products' development stage is applied to complete HOQ (House of Quality) Conclusion: There is no specific methodology for Test & Evaluation items, so currently, they are selected by including items which are given by similar projects or higher authorities. However, by utilizing QFD technique, selection of evaluation items which goes through more systematic process is expected to be possible.

AR Marker Detection Technique-Based Autonomous Attitude Control for a non-GPS Aided Quadcopter

  • This paper addresses the critical need for quadcopters in GPS-denied indoor environments by proposing a novel attitude control mechanism that enables autonomous navigation without external guidance. Utilizing AR marker detection integrated with a dual PID controller algorithm, this system ensures accurate maneuvering and positioning of the quadcopter by compensating for the absence of GPS, a common limitation in indoor settings. This capability is paramount in environments where traditional navigation aids are ineffective, necessitating the use of quadcopters equipped with advanced sensors and control systems. The actual position and location of the quadcopter is achieved by AR marker detection technique with the image processing system. Moreover, in order to enhance the reliability of the attitude PID control, the dual closed loop control feedback PID control with dual update periods is suggested. With AR marker detection technique and autonomous attitude control, the proposed quadcopter system decreases the need of additional sensor and manual manipulation. The experimental results are demonstrated that the quadrotor's autonomous attitude control and operation with the dual closed loop control feedback PID controller with hierarchical (inner-loop and outer-loop) command update period is successfully performed under the non-GPS aided indoor environment and it enhanced the reliability of the attitude and the position PID controllers within 17 seconds. Therefore, it is concluded that the proposed attitude control mechanism is very suitable to GPS-denied indoor environments, which enables a quadcopter to autonomously navigate and hover without external guidance or control.

안드로이드 어플리케이션의 결함 재생을 위한 액티버티 단위의 이벤트 캡춰 및 재생 기법 (Activity-based Event Capture and Replay Technique for Reproducing Crashes in Android Applications)

  • As Android platform and its applications are widely used, it is necessary to assure the reliability and safety of Android applications. The capture and replay technique is widely used for reproducing the crashes in Java applications. In this paper, we adapt the context-based capture and replay technique to Android applications by considering Android activity structure and its GUI characteristics. Our capture and replay technique uses probe code insertion based on AspectJ for minimizing the original code change and for enhancing the efficiency and reusability of the probe codes. For proving the efficiency of our technique, we provide a case study and execution overhead comparisons with related works, in which our approach has merits in GUI oriented Android applications with relatively low execution overhead.
