This study aimed to examine the research trends and to suggest future research directions in teaching-learning methods for Home Economics education, by analyzing articles published in three major academic journals in the field. From each of the research studies, the teaching-learning method, the related content area, and the learning effect measures were quantitatively codified. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis and cross-tabulations. According to the results, the number of teaching-learning method studies steadily increased since 1998 and peaked in 2010 and 2011. The most frequently studied content areas were combinations of more than two content areas, and the most frequently studied teaching-learning method was the Content-Based methods, followed by Practical Thinking/Problem Solving, and IT-Based methods. The most frequently used measures of learning effect were Knowledge/Understanding, Attitudes toward Home Economics subject, General Attitudes/Competencies, and the Attitudes toward the Instructional Method, in the order of frequencies. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the teaching-learning method research and also provide implications to the documentation of Home Economics curriculum for secondary education.

As a case study, we analyzed the professor's teaching professionalism in college of science-engineering based on pedagogical content knowledge. Two professors from the college of science-engineering located in Chungcheongbuk-do participated in this study. After collecting their syllabi, we observed their classes and conducted semi-structured interview before and after the classes. Analysis were conducted on their syllabi, taped videos, field notes and transcripts of the interview. As a result, both professors' orientation to teaching was not only related to learning subject matter knowledge, but also developing job competencies or communication skills. Their orientations were transformed according to the educational situation. After establishing the final learning goals, the professors organized weekly plan by listing the topics. However, they were unaware that the goals of each topic should be presented in detail in the class. Also, one of them presented a lack of understanding of the students' prior knowledge and showed low understanding of what aspects of the topics make students difficult to learn. In addition, the two professors applied various teaching strategies such as giving examples, questioning, and problem solving, but the degree of students' participation was not enough in the process of teaching. In the aspect of assessment, the professors had low understanding in students' achievement or feedback. Based on the results of the analysis, this study proposed methods and strategies for improving the teaching professionalism of science-engineering professors.

Through classes conducted using the Shift+N teaching method developed by H University for students taking major courses in radiology, the factors that influence teaching methods on learning outcomes and satisfaction with major courses were identified based on a survey of students. The analysis results were described. Compared to the existing major class method, pre-study was conducted through non-face-to-face lectures in advance and face-to-face lectures were conducted for the main class. After the lecture, related keywords corresponding to the parking lot were presented and class contents related to the keywords were applied. A possible problem was presented. In the next week, we proceeded with problem solving and explaining again the difficult or insufficient parts related to the students' review. As a result, the Shift+N teaching method showed high student participation and satisfaction due to the new class progress, which is different from the existing theory major class. Based on the results of this study, in order to efficiently deliver learning content to strengthen major competencies, we must improve existing major classes and develop teaching methods tailored to major subjects to improve students' knowledge and satisfaction through more effective and innovative teaching methods. A plan must be found.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a simulation module for teaching home health care and evaluate the applicability of the program to nursing students' practical training. Methods: The simulation module was developed based on the National League for Nursing Jeffries Simulation Theory. The theme of the developed scenario was teaching nasogastric tube feeding to the caregiver of patient with Parkinson disease. Participants were 61 nursing students who had learned tube feeding, and participated in the questionnaire survey after the simulation training. Results: The evaluation of simulation design showed the highest score on feedback/guided reflection, and was highly evaluated in the order of objectives/information, problem solving and fidelity. The educational practice of the simulation was highly evaluated in the order of active learning, high expectation and diversity of learning. The nursing students showed high satisfaction and self-confidence after the simulation education. Conclusion: We suggest that the developed simulation module can be applied to practical training for home health care. In the future, the change of self-efficacy, clinical judgment and performance ability of the students after the simulation education should be identified. Also, various simulation modules related to the community health nursing competencies should be continuously developed and verified.
In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, various universities' corporate field application education models are being presented. In particular, along with new teaching methods, various educational models for customized education of many companies are being studied, increasing their usability. Research on project-oriented teaching methods for competencies required in the field of business is the most developed field in recent years. In this study, we intend to propose a case-oriented curriculum model that applies the project-oriented teaching method to the requirements of these companies. In particular, we design an industry-oriented curriculum model through a companycustomized education model for blockchain and web developers, and suggest the direction of development focusing on examples of the operation process. The model through this case was designed and operated as a curriculum model suitable for the field through in-depth interviews with industries, etc.

Whether voluntary or involuntary in the field of education, learner participation is a basic premise for all teaching-learning. It is true that behaviorism and cognitive educational psychology have helped the development of teaching-learning theory so far but the reality is that it has not been of great help to provide learner-centered education according to the learner's learning type. We have professional theological knowledge and insight in theological college and having the knowledge to diagnose and solve difficulties and problems in the pastoral field and it is an increasingly difficult reality to educate students to have spiritual leadership that can lead the future society. We know that each student should understand the characteristics of each student and teach according to their learning type but the reason why it is difficult to implement is that each learner has different competencies, conditions, and cultural backgrounds and has particularly diverse learning types. in this respect, in order to increase the learning effect of individuals, individual learning considering the learning type of students is effective.

The current application of Generative AI in education requires enhancing skills and competencies for both instructors and students in the Age of Digital Formation. The knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for individualized education should be cultivated in schools, along with the ability to develop AI-compatible learning resources. Today's educational environment aligns with the demands of the Generative AI Era. Consequently, there is a need for an educational system that promotes critical thinking and creativity while connecting students to the global context. This study examined the teaching and learning processes, along with educational exploration, to understand the properties of light particles and waves within a competency-based science curriculum. The analysis and research findings aimed at devising a competency-based teaching-learning method for students' understanding of light particles and waves are as follows: First, unit analysis confirmed the significance of competency-oriented education and facilitated the structuring of units on light and waves. Second, qualitative content analysis outlined the procedures for applying conceptual knowledge and functions in experiential learning, as well as the process of feedback delivery. Third, the study highlighted the need for a meticulous approach to inducing problem recognition through inquiry and discussion activities, ensuring that students, when exploring and recognizing problems independently, do not develop misconceptions.
The purpose of this investigation is to: (1) to derive an improvement factor for inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning in pre-service teacher training programs, and pre-service teachers practice simulated teaching that reflect the improvement factor, (2) to analyze the difference in science intrinsic motivation according to science self-efficacy and inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning experience. To achieve these goals, we recruited five elementary and secondary teachers as experts to help us develop an improvement factor based on expert interviews. Subsequently, third-year pre-service teachers of a university of education participated in our analysis of differences in science intrinsic motivation, according to their level of science self-efficacy and experience with inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning. Our methodology involved applying the analytic hierarchy process to expert interviews to derive improvement factor for inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning, followed by a two-way ANOVA to identify significant differences in science intrinsic motivation between groups with varying levels of science self-efficacy. We also conducted post-analysis through MANOVA statements. The results of our study indicate that inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning can be improved through activities that foster digital literacy, ecological literacy, democratic citizenship, and scientific inquiry skills. Moreover, small group activities and student-centered teaching-learning approaches were found to be effective in developing core competencies and promoting science achievements. Specifically, pre-service teachers prepared a teaching-learning course plan and inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning in seventh-grade in the Earth and Space subject area. Pre-service teachers' science intrinsic motivation analyze significant differences in all levels of science self-efficacy before and after simulated teaching-learning and significant difference in the interaction effect between simulated teaching-learning and scientific self-efficacy. Particularly, group with low scientific self-efficacy, the difference in science intrinsic motivation according to simulated teaching-learning was most significant. Teachers' scientific self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation are needed to improve science achievement and affective domains of students in class. Therefore, this study contributes to suggest inquiry-based simulated teaching-learning reflecting school practices from the pre-service teacher curriculum.
The purpose of study is to provide fundamental data for the improvement of the teacher inservice training for environmental education through analysis of current inservice training programmes. The subject of analysis are documents on training programmes which was conducted after 2000 by 10 training organizations. Based on the results of this study, inservice training programmes is classified with 6 organizations which consist of education training institute, education & scientific research institute, national · public organizations, colleges of an attached organizations, civil organizations, teacher research society. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of small-group discussion and panel discussion as teaching and learning methods on college students' competencies of communication, problem-solving and leadership in a general education course. Participants were 52 college students, and they participated in the 13-session lessons. The data from questionnaires collected before and/or after the experiment were analyzed using a paired t-test and percent. The results were as follows. First, each 'total' competency in communication, problem-solving and leadership was increased statistically significant after the experiment. Second, in subdomains of each key competency, 'directed communication' and 'understanding the perspective of others' in communication, and 'divergent thinking', 'decision-making' and 'assessment' subdomains in problem-solving, and all subdomains in leadership were increased statistically significant after the experiment. Based on the results and students' opinions about discussions, the education implications for small-group discussion and panel discussion were discussed.
