  • Fused deposition modelling(FDM) is a rapid prototyping(RP) process that fabricates part layer by layer by deposition of molten thermoplastic material extrude from a nozzle. RP system has many benefit. One of the benefit would be the ability to experiment with physical objects of any complexity in a relatively short period of time. But it has a matter of surface roughness and geometric accuracy. We study on Influence of tangent line angle on surface roughness at fused deposition

  • This paper presents the results of a series of experiments conducted to model a magnetorheological damper operated in shear mode. The prototype MR damper consists of two parallel steel plates; a paddle covered with an MR fluid coated foam is placed between the plates. The force is generated when the paddle is in motion and the MR fluid is reached by the magnetic field of the coil in one end of the device. Two approaches were considered in this experiment: a parametric approach based on the Bingham, Bouc-Wen and Hyperbolic Tangent models and a non parametric approach based on a Neural Network model. The accuracy to reproduce the MR damper behavior is compared as well as some aspects related to performance are discussed.

  • In this paper we investigate (n+1)($n{\geq}3$)-dimensional contact CR-submanifolds M of (n-1) contact CR-dimension in a complete simply connected Sasakian space form of constant ${\phi}$-holomorphic sectional curvature $c{\neq}-3$ which satisfy the condition h(FX, Y)+h(X, FY) = 0 for any vector fields X, Y tangent to M, where h and F denote the second fundamental form and a skew-symmetric endomorphism (defined by (2.3)) acting on tangent space of M, respectively.

  • In this study, a numerical procedure based on the finite element method for materially and geometrically nonlinear analysis of reinforced and prestressed concrete slender columns with arbitrary section subjected to combined biaxial bending and axial load is developed. In order to overcome the low computer efficiency of the conventional section integration method in which the reinforced concrete section is divided into a large number of small areas, an efficient section integration method is used to determine the section tangent stiffness. In this method, the arbitrary shaped cross section is divided into several concrete trapezoids according to boundary vertices, and the contribution of each trapezoid to section stiffness is determined by integrating directly the trapezoid. The space frame flexural theory is utilized to derive the element tangent stiffness matrix. The nonlinear full-range member response is traced by an updated normal plane arc-length solution method. The analytical results agree well with the experimental ones.

  • Composite insulating materials used in outdoor high voltage equipment are required to have high electric performance because of the miniaturization. The frequence dependence of the permittivity and the loss tangent have important information. In this paper we describe the frequency dependence of the permittivity and the loss tangent for epoxy resin filled with silica and the influence of filler shape on the dielectric properties. The increment of tan $\delta$ in the low frequency region is caused by the increment of both of the electrical conductivity and the polarization due to the shape of filler and water sbsorbed in and near the interface between the fillers and resins. Result of charge current and discharge measure, electric conduction increased according to voltage.

  • In this paper a probe for the' measurement of dielectric properties of dielectric sheet materials is designed and implemented as a coaxial air line type. Using the broadband impedance method with this measurement probe the dielectric constant and loss tangent of the glass-epoxy and teflon are determined in the frequency range of 0.1 - l.O[GHz] with the temperature variation from $25[^{\circ}C]$ up to $65[^{\circ}C]$. A measured relative dielectric constant of the glass-epoxy is 4.42 and a loss tangents is 0.019 relatively, and the relative dielectric constants of teflon is 2.17 and a loss tangents is 0.002 relatively

  • In this study, the procedure of interpolation surface modeling on bicubic spline patch equation and NC machining are presented. The procedure consists of three parts : patch modeling, cutter location data generation, post processing and NC milling machining. For generation of the cutter location data, tangent vectors and units normal vectors on the patch must be calculated. In order to investigate the properties of the interpolation surface created by bicubic spline patch, two kinds of end conditions, clamped end condition and relaxed end condition, were applied in this study. The shape of the patch depends on the magnitide of the tangent vectors and twist vectors at the corners of bicubic surface patch. the patch generated by relaxed end condition more approximated to the surface patch which was given.

  • An implicit stress integration algorithm was formulated for implementing an aiusotorpic hardening constitutive model which has been based op the generalized isotropic hardening rule in nonlinear finite element analysis technique. the rate form of stress tensor was implicitly integrated using the generalized trapezoidal rule and the tangent stress-strain modulus was evaluated consistently with the nonlinear solution technique. As a result, it has been found that the nonlinear analysis with the anisotropic hardening constitutive model might be performed accurately and efficiently.

  • In this study, the moisture content, charge discharge current, electrostatic capacity and dielectric loss tangent are measured for the specimen of bisphenol type epoxy resin which is mixed with squared amorphous silica filler and dipped in hot water of $50^{\circ}C$ for 169 days. The results of this study are listed below. The longer of deposition day, the charge and discharge current was increased. It is considered that the reason is because there was water attack through the squared silica surface. The longer of deposition day, the absorption rate of all specimens was increased. It found that the absorption rate reached saturated state after 100 days. The higher frequency and the longer of deposition day, the $tan{\delta}$ was decreased. Also, It found that the $tan{\delta}$ and electrostatic capacity of the specimen which is mixed with squared filler are greater.
