In this study, we developed a micropattern technology in the shape of RFID TAG antenna using ultrasonic micropattern manufacturing system developed to enable micropattern technology. The ultrasonic tool horn in longitudinal vibration mode was installed in the micropattern manufacturing system to develop the ultrasonic press technology for the micropattern antenna shape of the RFID TAG antenna shape on the insulating sheet surface. The ultrasonic shaping technology was manufactured by applying the resonance design technique to a 60kHz tool horn, and by using the micropattern manufacturing system, the coil wire having a thickness of 25㎛ can be ultrasonically press-molded on an insulating sheet of 200㎛ or less. In ultrasonic press technology, the antenna shape having a minimum line width of 150㎛ could be molded without disconnection, peeling, or twisting of the coil wire.

In evaluating the performance of RFID systems, the tag anti-collision arbitration has been considered to be an important issue. For BT(Binary Tree) and ABS( Adaptive Binary Splitting) protocols, the so-called capture effect, which presumably happens frequently in the process of readers' receiving messages from multiple tags, can lead to some failures in detecting all tags in BT and ABS. In this paper, we propose a new anti-collision protocol, namely FTB (Feedback TagID with Binary splitting), which can solve the aforementioned problem and improve the performance.

This paper proposes a windowing method to reduce noise effect and bit synchronization error caused by tolerance of a tag-response signal for ISO/IEC 18000-6 type-B readers. A tag response signal has very weak power because of a back-scattering modulation scheme and thus may be sensitive to noise. In addition, bit tolerance admitted in a tag response signal requires robust timing synchronization because it affects readers' detection performance. To reduce the two undesirable effects in a tag signal, we acquire bit transition position by using variable windows from over-sampled data, and average whole data in one bit duration. With a hardware system adopting the proposed method, we tested and verified its performance.

We show that two protocols for RFID mutual authentication in pervasive computing environments, recently proposed by Kang et al, are vulnerable to several attacks. First, we show these protocols do not preserve the privacy of users' location. Once a tag is authenticated successfully, we show several scenarios where legitimate or illegitimate readers can trace the location of that tag without any further information about the tag's identifier or initial private key. Second, since the communication between readers and the database takes place over an insecure communication channel and in the plaintext form, we show scenarios where a compromised tag can gain access to confidential information that the tag is not supposed get access to. Finally, we show that these protocols are also vulnerable to the replay and denial-of-service attacks. While some of these attacks are due to simple flaws and can be easily fixed, others are more fundamental and are due to relaxing widely accepted assumptions in the literature. We examine this issue, apply countermeasures, and re-evaluate the protocols overhead after taking these countermeasures into account and compare them to other work in the literature.

As society advances and consumers' perception of food safety changes, the demand for the safety of refrigerated and distributed foods is spreading. In this paper, we build an ICT system that can collect the TTH data from the NFC tag, store it, analyze the food safety level using it. This service platform consists of the temperature monitoring NFC tag attached to individual packaged food, the smartphone with NFC sensor, and the monitoring server with a big data system. Consumers and administrators in this system can easily identify and predict the safety level of individual packaged foods in real time using the provided app on smartphones. In the field of food safety, the use of new technologies such as ICT can create new value by combining with existing food industry in addition to creating new market by new service.

Interactive Graphic Robotics Integrated Programming(IGRIP) can handle various types of robot models and can exchange graphic or numerical data easily with other CAD software. In a cutting process of shape-steels, however. IGRIP is inconvenient because the users must generate all the tag points manually. In this study we developed an automation program module in order to generate the tag points automatically in IGRIP This program can read and analyze the macro data containing the information for cutting processes of shape-steels and can generate automatically the parts, the devices, the tag points and the Graphic Simulation Language(GSL) program files useful in IGRIP.

The need for the recognition of music emotion has become apparent in many music information retrieval applications. In addition to the large pool of techniques that have already been developed in machine learning and data mining, various emerging applications have led to a wealth of newly proposed techniques. In the music information retrieval community, many studies and applications have concentrated on tag-based music recommendation. The limitation of music emotion tags is the ambiguity caused by a single music tag covering too many subcategories. To overcome this, multiple tags can be used simultaneously to specify music clips more precisely. In this paper, we propose a novel technique to rank the proper tag combinations based on the acoustic similarity of music clips.

In this paper, we proposed a broadband U-shaped RFID tag antenna with near-isotropic characteristic at UHF band. The proposed tag antenna is composed of the U-shaped half wavelength dipole and a rectangular shaped feed. The rectangular shaped feed that is located inside U-shaped dipole is connected for conjugate impedance matching with the commercial tag chip. A better constant gain deviation characteristic in the operating frequency band is achieved by inserting a rectangular slit in the lower center of the U-shaped antenna body. On the condition of VSWR<2, the tag antenna had the measured bandwidth of 10.36%, from 860.5 to 954.5 MHz, and 9.84%, from 864.5 to 954 MHz, for antenna without slit and with slit, respectively. On the condition of VSWR<5.8, the tag antennas had the measured bandwidth of 15.78%, from 835.5 to 979.5 MHz, and 15.89%, from 837 to 981.5 MHz, for antenna without slit and with slit, respectively. The difference between the maximum and minimum gain deviations of tag antenna without slit in the operating frequency band is 0.53 dB since the maximum and minimum gain deviations are 3.86 dB and 3.33 dB, respectively. Whereas the difference between the maximum and minimum gain deviations of tag antenna with slit in the operating frequency is 0.06 dB since the maximum and minimum gain deviations are 3.60 dB and 3.54 dB, respectively.

In the RFID Sytem, When leaders recognize the tag, a anti-collision scheme is an important factor in the performance of the system. Probabilistic-based anti-collision scheme using the slot status is a technique to estimate the number of tags. the schemes to quickly and accurately estimate the number of tags has been a lot of research. However, A initial number tag are not considering in the number of tags unknown environment. In the paper, estimation scheme for the initial number of tag is proposed to solve the problems. we analyze the performance by the initial number of tag and the proposed scheme.
