  • As the pre-stage of making 3D stabilizing systems, at this paper designed 2D stabilizing system. This is composed of two axes stabilizing platform to preserve targeted direction while vehicle is moving. The system maintains stabilization by recovering error using the rate gyro with DSP TMS320F240 as controller, vibratory rate gyro (Tokimec co. TFG -l60D) as gyro scope, SD1015B52-1·SD1004C04-l/DM1015B DM1004C as direct drive driver/motor, PI control as control algorithm. This paper got a comparably good stabilization.

  • There are three critical considerations in developing a PCM telemetry encoder to be installed in an artillery projectile. The first is the performance consideration, such as sampling rate and data transmission rate. The second is the size consideration due to the severely limited installation space in an artillery projectile and the last is the power consumption consideration due to limitations of the munition's power supply. To meet these three considerations, the best alternative is a one-chip solution. Using a commercially available TMS320F2812 DSP, we have implemented a 30-channel PCM telemetry encoder to process randomized data frames, composed of 16-channel analog data, 14-channel digital data and 2-frame synchronization channels per data frame at 10Mbps transmitting baud rate.

  • The paper introduces the RFID location based Tree Management System (TMS) using UHF RFID tag and GPS. The bolt shape tag has been developed since the wood material has high dielectric constant. Since the characteristics and impedance of tag antenna can be changed by the material next to the tag, the plastic bolt shape tag antenna has to be carefully designed with consideration of the high dielectric constant of the wood material. The RFID TMS system has been utilized with the bolt shape tag antenna and GPS. The TMS system uses and links Google map to locate the location of the trees. Therefore, this system allow us to manage the trees economically and efficiently.

  • In this research, the BLDC motor 2 axis controller was designed using a dual core processor. The controller used TMS320F28377D which is TI's latest dual-core DSP, and the BLDC motor was selected with the position of resolver having high reliavility and the speed sensor built-in type motor.

  • A new adaptive TMS variable area flow meter that is used to the environment measuring equipment is proposed. This system is consist of a ball moving within the tube line which corresponds to gas flow and photo sensor array which monitoring the movement of ball. This system can monitoring the position of bali in case of the very few gas flow in various levels. And it can automatically adjust the gas flow at the highest and the lowest level to prevent the tube line blockage.

  • This paper presents an implementation method of Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) decoder using a general-purpose multicore Digital Signal Processor (DSP), TMS320C6670. Although the DSP provides some useful coprocessors such as turbo decoder, fast Fourier transformer, Viterbi Coprocessor, Bit Rate Coprocessor etc., it is specific to the base station platform implementation not the mobile terminal platform implementation. This paper shows an implementation method of the LTE-A PDSCH decoder using programmable DSP cores as well as the coprocessors of Fast Fourier Transformer and turbo decoder. First, it uses the coprocessor supported by the TMS320C6670, which can be used for PDSCH implementation. Second, we propose a core programming method using DSP optimization method for block diagram of PDSCH that can not use coprocessor. Through the implementation, we have verified a real-time decoding feasibility for the LTE-A downlink physical channel using test vectors which have been generated from LTE-A Reference Measurement Channel (RMC) Waveform R.6.

  • In this paper, we introduce a method of determining the absolute position of the rotor for the vector control of Hall sensor type multi-pole BLDC motor using the DSP(TMS320F28335), and implement an algorithm to complement the problems of the conventional method. The switching method of the inverter for providing desired sinusoidal current to each phase of a motor, we adopt Space-Vector pulse width modulation method. In order to increase the speed range, Field-Weakness control method are used. In order to verify the proposed algorithm, we compare the value of Iqe, Ide and phase currents with the values before compensated.

  • 본 논문에서는 TI사의 TMS320C6201 DSP를 이용하여 H.263 동영상 부호화기를 실시간 구현하고자 한다. 구현한 부호화기는 QCIF 형식의 영상을 사용하여 ITU-T H.263 권고안의 기본 모드를 따라 주로 C 언어와 intrinsics를 사용하여 구현하였다. 특히, 속도 향상을 위해서 고속 메모리의 사용을 극대화하는데 중점을 두었고, 연산량이 많은 모듈에 대한 최적화와 데이터의 병렬 처리 및 DMA (Direct Memory Access) 전송 등을 고려하여 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 TTS 알고리듬을 16 비트 고정 소수점 DSP인 TMS320C6201을 이용해 다채널 실시간 구현하였으며, 실제로 음성처리 부가 서비스 시스템에 보드 형태로 구현하여 응용하였다. 구현된 TTS는 최적화 작업을 통해 최대 40 MHz 클록으로 채널 당 2초의 합성음 생성하도록 했으며, 개발된 TTS 보드는 두 개의 DSP를 사용하여 DSP 당 8 채널씩 총 16 채널을 수용하였다 실험 결과, 모든 채널에서 실시간적으로 음성 합성이 수행됨을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 TMS320C6201 DSP (Digial Signal Processor)를 이용하여 실시간 영상 부호화기를 구현하였다. 기본적인 영상 압축 방법으로는 baseline-JPEG을 사용하였고 이에 움직임 검출 알고리즘을 부가하여 영상의 시간적인 중복성을 제거하였다. 특히 저속 메모리와 고속 메모리의 효율적인 분배 사용, 계산량이 많은 모듈의 최적화, 데이터의 병렬 연산과 DMA (Direct Memory Access)를 이용한 데이터 전송 등의 방법을 통하여 실시간 영상 부호화기의 고속 영상 처리에 중점을 두었다.
