Most verification of improvements for adaptive control schemes are. dependent on computer simulations, but these computer simulations have much limitation, because (if complex actual conditions of system. This paper is concerned with the constructions of a thermal process system for experiments with various control schemes. This thermal process system is composed of a water tank, PC-XT, AD/DA converters power supply and thermal sensors. We estimate. the algorithms of pole-assignment adaptive control in the manifold disturbances and environments, changing system dynamics. The system equations for thermal press are included.

The improvements of G-SEED standards was studies in this research by comparing the composition, rating scores, and standards, including categories, issues and criteria of BREEAM in the UK. In this research, it was found that both certification systems had very similar composition and rating system, however, there was slight difference in the points of emphasizing the standards due to the differences in social awareness of green buildings in each country. As a result of the detailed comparison of both standards, in addition, it was found that almost half of criteria had different evaluation approaches such as evaluation methods and scopes between both standards even though they had same evaluation objectives; some of the differences were due to the social or cultural differences between the countries, and the others were not. Through the research, we were able to derive some criteria that need for improvements of G-SEED considering the domestic conditions in Korea.

In the current legal system, establishing aging friendly smart home based on healthcare for the senior people over 65 seems hard to be achieved. For these reasons, this study is intended to explore the improvements in the legal system using the comparative analysis in the domestic and foreign legal systems. The related legal system is divided into three sections - 'healthcare,' 'aging friendly,' and 'smart home' - providing that telemedicine would be implemented. According to the analysis of the legal system for healthcare, telemedicine is executed by the medical law. Thus, we need to investigate the concept and all the matters of telemedicine on the basis of foreign cases. As the result of the analysis of the legal system for 'Aging Friendly,' the definition of the elderly is ambiguous and we find the improvement of health and medical system. In addition to these, the definite bounds of the healthcare equipment have to be set. From these results, we are aware of the necessity of the improvements of the legal system, and suggest plans for these problems. That is to organize the legal system and make a new law through revising the current specific identification. This study focuses on suggesting the improvements of the legal system with the comparative analysis of the domestic and foreign legal systems.

This is a study to research the effective way to enhance the performance of safety management by gathering and analyzing the information of undesirable occurrences that may result in accident or serious incident. When an information retrieval system is implemented on-line, users can interact with the system to improve the searches. There are studies which achieved dramatic improvements in system effectiveness by using automatic relevance feedback, a technique for reformulating a patron query based on initial retrieval result. In this thesis, an automatic query modification model was applied to a controlled keyword system.

In Korea, the developmental gap is deep between rural and urban areas in spacial aspect and, or between agricultural and industrial side. So there are much room for improvement in agri. development in national standpoint as well as in individual farmer's level. In this respect, agricultural financing is requisitive to speed up the pace of agricultural development and in result, to contribute to improvement of farm income. By the way, farmers' credit demands are always in excess-demand status and they rely on private money-lenders in the burden of high interest rate. In agricultural financing market, there are two kinds of credit ; institutional credit and non-institutional credit market, that is private money-lending. In institutional credit, there are mutual credit system operating by the primary coops and policy credit system by NACF financed by Government in part. Here, in this paper, I venture to study on the improvements of the policy credit system to increase and activate the supply function of agri. policy credit into farmers to enhance their socio-economic status.

In this paper, we investigate if the new merchant fee system has problems. The fee was fixed by government policies and there were no processes of listening to market participants. Therefore, we suggest improvements as follows. First, large-sized stores take burdens for the rest of stores so credit card companies and the government should try to minimize the increasing rate for large-sized stores. Second, credit card firms need to give VAN companies roles of stabilizing authorizing processes. Third, periodic update requires because of credibility. Fourth, contents of merchant fee should be disclosed to merchants. Fifth, there needs discussions for merchant fees of debit cards.

Periodic safety reviews (PSRs) are conducted on operating nuclear power plants (NPPs) and have been mandated also for research reactors in Korea, in response to the Fukushima accident. One safety review tool, the probabilistic safety assessment (PSA), aims to identify weaknesses in the design and operation of the research reactor, and to evaluate and compare possible safety improvements. However, the PSA for research reactors is difficult due to scarce data availability. An important element in the analysis of research reactors is the reactor protection system (RPS), with its functionality and importance. In this view, we consider that of the AGN-201K, a zero-power reactor without forced decay heat removal systems, to demonstrate a risk-informed safety improvement study. By incorporating risk- and safety-significance importance measures, and sensitivity and uncertainty analyses, the proposed method identifies critical components in the RPS reliability model, systematically proposes potential safety improvements and ranks them to assist in the decision-making process.

The rapid industrialization since the 1960s has caused considerable changes in the appearance of Korean cities. The huge demand and cityward tendency derived from the increase of population with such the expansion from 9 millions in 1960 to 43 millions in 2003, have resulted in number of problems such as the falling-off in the quality of life, amenity, and safety. And above all, the urban identities is not to be found obviously in the cities. With regard to these problems, the re-creation of cities should be emphasized to make environmental, economical, and social improvements and to restore human-oriented activities. In the course of making new improvements cities need to preserve the characteristics and maintain the concordance with their environments. In other words, the restoration of cities ought to be made in the aspect of continuity, which means the accession of genetic factors inherent in cities. In this background, concerning about the system on apartment house especially relating to environmentally sound restoration and comparing with that of Japan, this study proposes the direction needed in the development of urban space.
