We consider an M/G/1 feedback retrial queue with Bernoulli schedule in which after being served each customer either joins the retrial group again or departs the system permanently. Using the supplementary variable method, we obtain the joint generating function of the numbers of customers in two groups.

This paper describes emission control of hydrocarbon and carbon-monoxide due to oxidizing catalyst. The experiment was performed on a precious metal pelleted catalyst(Pt). The factors of the efficiency for purification due to oxidizing catalyst are space velocity, temperature, composition of exhaust gas and supplementary air. The experiment was carried out to control the factors of efficiency for purification. The results of experimental study show that temperature of catalytic converter, supplementary air and space velocity affected the efficiency for purification of hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide.

In M/G/1 retrial queueing system with two types of customers and feedback, we derived the joint generating function of the number of customers in two groups by using the supplementary variable method. It is shown that our results are consistent with those already known in the literature when ${\delta}_k\;=\;0(k\;=\;1,\;2),\;{\lambda}_1\;=\;0\;or\;{\lambda}_2\;=\;0$.

We consider the discrete-time GI/G/1/K queue under the early arrival system. Using a modified supplementary variable technique(SVT), we obtain the distribution of the steady-state queue length. Unlike the conventional SVT, the modified SVT yields transform-free results in such a form that a simple two-moment approximation scheme can be easily established.

In general, simple correspondence analysis has handled mainly correspondence relations between the row and column categories but can not display the trends of their change over the time. For solving this problem, we will propose DSCA(Dynamic Simple Correspondence Analysis) of transition matrix data using supplementary categories in this study, Moreover, DSCA provides its trend of the change for the future by predicting and displaying trend toward the change from a standard point of time to the next.

We consider the M/G/1 queue with instantaneous feed-back. The probabilities of feedback are determined by the state of the underlaying Markov chain. by using the supplementary variable method we derive the generating function of the number of customers in the system. In the analysis it is required to calculate the matrix equations. To solve the matrix equations we use the notion of Ex-tended Laplace Transform.

This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of slow-release fertilizers on yield of lettuce. Fertilizers were treated with CDU, MEISTER, Jobi Gohyungbokhapbiryo, Kyungki Wonyebokbi 1ho, Kyungkibokbi Nojeok, Kyungki Jeonjakgohyungbokbi, Traditional manuring, and No manuring. Yields of Spinach was increased with slow-release fertilizers, also. But analysis of chemical components of plants and soil were no difference. It was very effect to increase yields of lettuce, to reduce in number of supplementary manuring and laboring.

We consider G/M/1 queues with multiple vacation disci-pline where at the end of every busy period the server stays idle in the system for a period of time called changeover time and then follows a vacation if there is no arrival during the changeover time. The vaca-tion time has a hyperexponential distribution. By using the methods of the shift operator and supplementary variable we explicitly obtain the queue length probabilities at arrival time points and arbitrary time points simultaneously.

We consider an MMPP/G/1/K finite queue with two-level threshold overload control. This model has frequently arisen in the design of the integrated communication systems which support a wide range applications having various Quality of Service(QoS) requirements. This tests examined bond stress-slip relationship of V-ties embedded into concrete as a supplementary lateral reinforcement proposed for ductility of concrete flexural members. The different leg shapes of V-ties were prepared as a test parameter. The V-tie with pressed end-legs exhibited 28% higher bond strength than the conventional V-ties, whereas bond stress-slip curves were insignificantly affected by the embedment length of V-ties.
