In this paper, the solar cell need the characteristic interpreting because the solar cell changes greatly according to the isolation, temperature and load in the photovoltaic development. Moreover, to get many energy in photovoltaic development need the position tracking of the sun according to the environment change and it is necessary to control the output of solar cells up to the time. Simulation and composed microprocessor and sensor chip an power conversion system with boost converter to experiment results are performed to prove the analysis of the converter operation, and to show the possibility of energy harvesting and photovoltaic development need the position tracking small capacitance, the boost rate of boost converter was similar to 167 percent.

In this paper, a novel scheme with which to mitigate a repeat-back jamming effect is proposed for the GPS L1 coarse/acquisition signal. The proposed scheme estimates the code tracking bias caused by repeat-back jamming signals using a Combined Pseudo-random noise signal. It then mitigates the repeat-back jamming effect by subtracting the estimated code timing on a normal correlation channel from the estimated value. Through a Monte-Carlo simulation, the proposed scheme can diminish the running average of code tracking bias to less than 10% of the bias using the conventional scheme.

The e-CALLISTO is a network of CALLISTO (Compact Astronomical Low-frequency, Low-cost Instrument for Spectroscopy in Transportable Observatories) spectrometers which detect solar radio bursts 24 hours a day in frequency range 45-870 MHz. The number of channels per spectrum is 200 and the time resolution of whole spectrum is 0.25 second. The Korean e-CALLISTO station was developed by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) collaborating with Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) since 2007. In this paper, we report replacement of the tracking mount and development of the control program using Visual C++/MFC. The program can make the tracking mount track the Sun and schedule CALLISTO to start and to finish its observation automatically using the Solar Position Algorithm (SPA). Daily tracking errors (RMSE) are 0.0028 degree in azimuthal axis and 0.0019 degree in elevational axis between 2014 January and 2015 July. We expect that the program can save time and labor to make the observations of solar activity for space weather monitoring, and improve CALLISTO data quality due to the stable and precise tracking methods.

This paper presents a K-band radar system installed on the ground moving vehicle to detect and track a high-speed target. The presented radar is separated into three search regions to satisfy a wide area detection and a limitation of the installing space of the radar, and each region performs detecting the target independently and tracking the detected target automatically. The presented radar radiating K-band FMCW waveform acquires range and velocity information of the target at the every dwell and receiving antenna of the radar is applied the multiple baseline interferometer to extract the precise angle information of the target. 3-dimensional tracking accuracy of the radar is 0.25 m RMSE measured actually through a fire experiment of an imitation target.

This paper proposes a novel code tracking scheme to track the fine code synchronization for BOC(pn,n) modulated spreading signals. The correlation function of BOC(pn,n) modulated spreading signals has been several peaks. In this paper, we observe that the correlation function in the advanced offset region remains almost unchanged, due to the multipath signals being received later than a line-of-sight signal. Based on this observation, we propose a novel code tracking scheme which is called the advanced region correlation (ARC) method for BOC(n,n) modulated spreading signals. And, we compare with the code tracking accuracy between the conventional and proposed methods in the static multipath and land mobile satellite system channels through the Monte-Carlo simulation. Then, base on the proposed scheme, we propose the generalized-ARC (ARC) scheme for BOC(pn, n) modulated spreading signals.

The worldwide CPV(Concentrated Photo Voltaic) market has been increased rapidly due to the increase in large-scale PV(Photo Voltaic) plants which are situated in sun-rich areas with either a Mediterranean or equatorial-type climate. CPV systems are arguably some of the most important devices in the production of electricity within regions with a sun-rich climate, particularly those which benefit from abundant direct solar irradiation. We have developed a 500X CPV module with rated power of 170Wp. The CPV module must satisfy the constraint of having a sensitive tracking accuracy due to the limited tolerance of the acceptance angle in intrinsic optical design. In this study, the module's acceptance angle used was designed with a tolerance angle of ${\pm}1^{\circ}$ in the secondary optics design. In general, non-concentrated module type 2-axis trackers have a tolerance angle larger than ${\pm}1^{\circ}$ due to standard silicon-type modules which are insensitive to the tracking accuracy of the sun. They have a tolerance angle of ${\pm}2{\sim}4^{\circ}$, which fails to exert a significant influence on the performance of the module. This paper provides a study of an experimental variation of the efficiency of the CPV module in terms of its tracking accuracy. Also, the performance of the module is studied from the perspective of temperature and direct irradiation.

Pultruded glass fiber reinforced polymeric plastic (PFRP) and FRP member manufactured by sheet molding compound (SMC) have superior mechanical and physical properties compared with those of conventional structural materials. Since FRP has an excellent corrosion-resistance and high specific strength and stiffness, the FRP material may be highly appreciated for the development of floating-type photovoltaic (PV) power generation system. In this paper, advanced floating PV generation system made of PFRP and SMC is designed. In the design, it includes tracking solar altitude by tilting photovoltaic arrays and tracking solar azimuth by spinning structures. Moreover, the results of the finite element analysis (FEA) are presented to confirm stability of entire structure under the external loads. Additionally, installation procedure and mooring systems in the Hap-Cheon Dam are discussed and the measurement of strain under the actual circumstances is conducted for assuring stability of actually installed structures. Finally, by comparison with allowable stress, appropriate safety of structure is confirmed to operate the system.

As the wind has become one of the fastest growing renewable energy sources, the key issue of wind energy conversion systems is on how to efficiently operate the wind turbines in a wide range of wind speeds. In general, the wind speed is the main factor that impact on the dynamics of wind turbine system. Wind turbine algorithms are thus required to improve the performance of wind speed measurements. However, the accurate measurement of the effective wind speed using wind gauge and similar sensors is difficult such that control systems are needed for wind speed estimation using various techniques. Therefore, this research suggests the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method for tracking the wind speed based on neural networks. Design experiments were carried out in laboratory environment to validate the application of the proposed method.

In order to maximize power output from the solar panels, one needs to keep the panels aligned with the sun. So solar tracker having high reliability must be designed. This paper cares about the design and evaluation of a two-axis solar tracker system based on fuzzy logic control with LabVIEW. The research focus on planning mechanical parts, making an intelligent controller which controls and monitors all parameters via user interface implemented of a fuzzy decision support system for control of photovoltaic panel movement. We also develop a real solar tracker system and analyze the influence indexes such as environment, weather, season, and light condition. The solar tracker is tested in real condition and all parameters related to the system operation are recorded and analyzed. The developed solar tracking system got a much higher efficiency about 38 % compare to fixed solar panel although the weather condition is affected a lot to the solar panel. So we confirmed the our auto tracking system is more effective and can allow more energy to be produced.

In solar power system, the height and azimuth of the sun are important parameters which control generated power magnitude. The way that controls the daily generation magnitude according to latitude and longitude and uses two axles is often used in the existing sunlight racing system now. In this two-axle sunlight track control system the self-load is concentrated on one FRAME. It is influenced of the regular load, snow load and the wind load, etc. It is difficult to set up the system in the building already built up. This research is a development about the small-scale economy track device of independent load-dispersing type solar generation system. The position track algorithm is through calculating the trail of height and azimuthal of the sun calculation to follow the sun.
