저가 Batch형 온수급탕시스템의 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of a Low Cost Batch Type Solar Water Heater)

  • A low cost batch type solar heaters (capacity 200 litres) comprising horizontal tanks, which performs the dual function of absorbing heat and storing the heated water, have been designed and fabricated for the purpose of side-by-side testing. Experimental results have indicated that the sufficient hot water can be obtained in the early morning if the glazing is aided by a reflector/insulation cover. The water heater with best thermal performance such as type B supplied water at a maximum mean temperature of $46-49^{\circ}C$ in the summer afternoon and the temperature of $36-39^{\circ}C$ can be obtained in the early morning if insulation cover is used during night time. The equation has been developed for the prediction of hourly variation of the water temperature in the tank.

학교 교실의 천장형 에어컨 토출각도에 따른 온열환경 해석 (Thermal Environment Analysis by the Diffusion Direction with Ceiling Type Air Conditioner of the Classroom)

  • It is necessary to develop new air-conditioning method which can be satisfied individual separated space and request of occupants. The indoor thermal environment and flow field are investigated both experimentally and numerically. This study concentrated on analysis of indoor thermal environment by diffusion direction of ceiling type air conditioner of the classroom. The velocity and temperature distribution of air in the room calculated by 3-dimensional method, which include the effect of insulation of the building and outdoor state. This analysis shows that optimum diffusion direction is $30^{\circ}$ to increase thermal comfort in winter and optimum diffusion direction is $15^{\circ}$ to increase thermal comfort in summer.

  • Nowadays, the thermal environments of classrooms are usually adjusted by the ceiling type air-conditioning system with a temperature sensor installed on inlet of an air-conditioner. However, it is not clear that the conventional temperature sensor position is proper to satisfy both thermal comport and energy saving in summer especially. Therefore, this study is aimed at finding out the best position of the temperature sensor on the purpose of the comfort thermal environment and energy saving. The different 5 positions for the temperature sensor are supposed in this paper to analyze thermal environment by CFD. From the analysis through the CFD simulations, the best position of the temperature sensor satisfying for both comfort thermal environment and energy saving is obtained.

철도 차량 정비 작업자를 위한 일회용 부직포 작업복의 온열적 성능 평가 (Evaluation of the Thermal Properties of Disposable Coveralls for Railroad Carriage Maintenance Workers)

  • This study evaluated thermo-physiological and subjective properties of improved disposable coveralls for railroad carriage maintenance through climatic chamber trials and a filed study. Subjects wore five kinds of disposable coveralls (Type A: a disposable coverall on the market, Type B: a coverall with an improved hood and size-adjustable design, Type C: a coverall with a portable hood, Type D: a coverall with small holes for ventilation, Type E: a sleeveless coverall, Type F: a separated type of coverall with half sleeves) The air temperature in the climatic chamber was set in 9$^{\circ}C$ and 30$^{\circ}C$ For each condition, subjects simulated the railroad work for 120min. and rectal temperature, skin temperatures, clothing microclimate and subjective sensations were measured. The results of chamber trials showed rectal temperature and clothing microclimate did not display significant differences by clothing type. In 30$^{\circ}C$ air temperature, mean skin temperature was higher in Type E and Type F than in Type A(p<0.05) but between the improved coveralls(B-F), we could not find any significant difference. In the case of thermal comfort, the most preferred types were Type B and Type C in 9$^{\circ}C$ and Type F in 30$^{\circ}C$. All subjects felt more comfortable in the improved coveralls than in coveralls of the market (Type A). In field study, workers preferred Type B, Type C and Type F to Type A but the most favorite type differed by the specific type of work. Especially, workers were dissatisfied that Type D tore easily due to lots of small holes around the armpits and Type I did not protect workers' shoulder and arms from oil contamination. According to the climatic chamber trials and field study, the most effective coveralls were Type B and Type C for winter and Type F for summer.

  • Purpose: Heat transfer analysis of recently developed 'slim type double-skin system window' were presented. This window system is designed for curtain wall type façade that main energy loss factor of recent elegant buildings. And the double skin system is the dual window system integrated with inner shading component, enclosed gap space made by two windows when both windows were closed and shading component effectively reflect and terminate solar radiation from outdoor. Usually double-skin system requires much more space than normal window systems but this development has limited by 270mm, facilitated for curtain wall façade buildings. In this study, we estimated thermophysical phenomena of our double-skin curtain wall system window with solar load conditions at the summer season. Method: A fully 3-Dimentional analysis adopted for flow and convective and radiative heat transfer. The commercial CFD package were used to model the surface to surface radiation for opaque solid region of windows' frame, transparent glass, fluid region at inside of double-skin and indoor/outdoor environments. Result: Steep angle of solar incident occur at solar summer conditions. And this steep solar ray cause direct heat absorption from outside of frame surface rather than transmitted through the glass. Moreover, reflection effect of shading unit inside at the double-skin window system was nearly disappeared because of solar incident angle. With this circumstances, double-skin window system effectively cuts the heat transfer from outdoor to indoor due to separation of air space between outdoor and indoor with inner space of double-skin window system.

대마난류 수형의 계절 변화 (Seasonal Variation of the Water Type in the Tsushima Current)

  • 대마난류 수형의 계절 변화를 19개년 $(1965\~1983)$의 해양관측 자료를 사용하여 (thermosteric anomaly)로서 검토했다. $33.8\%_{\circ}$의 염분값을 지표로 살펴본 바에 의하면, 대한해협을 통해 유입된 하계 표층 저염수는 여름부터 가을동안에 표층의 수형변화에 영향을 주고 있다. 표면에서 $\delta_T$의 값은 수온에 의한 영향을 많이 받지만, 하계에는 일시적으로 염분에 영향을 받는다. 그 값은 최저 수온이 나타나는 겨울에 가장 작고, 봄에 수온의 상승에 따라 차츰 증가하며, 최고 수온 및 최저 염분이 나타나는 여름에 가장 크고, 가을에 수온의 하강에 따라 차츰 감소한다. 그리고 저염수의 유입 때문에 고오도 서방역은 8월에 779 cl/t, 한국 연안역은 9월에 622 cl/t으로 쿠로시오역의 8월의 값 622cl/t 보다 더 크다. 깊이 100m에서 $\delta_T$ 변화는 표면만큼 탁월하지 않으며, 년중 수온 변화에 의존하고, 대마난류역의 북쪽 정점으로 갈수록 감소한다.

교실에서의 일반형과 루버형 차양장치의 채광성능 비교 분석 (Comparative Daylighting Performance of a Classroom with Traditional and Louver type Shading Devices)

  • Shading devices have become an integral part of the daylighting strategy for sustainable classroom design. The louver type is newly designed shading devices which provide more view to the outside and protect from outside condition such as snow or rain. The purpose of this study is to compare the daylight performance of traditional and louver type overhang and lightshelf. The room dimension was $7.5m{\times}9.0m{\times}3.0m$. The length of shading devices was calculated by Palmero's study. The length of the traditional and louver type overhang was 455mm, 1210mm and lightshelf was 350/810mm, 625/555mm respectively. For the study, the Radiance 2.0 was used to evaluate the illuminance and uniformity ratios. And scale model were used to evaluate sunpatch area on the floor in model was calculated. The results showed that the louver type lightshelf was suitable for spring and summer, and louver type overhang was suitable for winter.

  • Purpose: It is thought to be crucial to guide diabetic children and adolescents through their adolescent period psychologically and emotionally. Therefore, we investigated what positive roles a type 1 diabetic camp program would play on subjects in terms of depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-efficacy. Methods: This study evaluated 38 diabetic children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes who attended summer camp. Subjects were analyzed using a one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research design. Results: There was a significant decrease in depression (t=3.55, p=.001) and anxiety (t=3.09, p=.004) after attending camp, as well as a significant improvement in self-efficacy (t=-3.64, p=.001). However, there was no significant change in self-esteem (t=0.14, p=.891). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that type 1 diabetic camps are an effective intervention program to promote psychological and emotional stability among diabetic children; therefore, it is recommended that various diabetes programs related to camps be developed.

공조기가 설치된 고분 내에서의 열 및 음 환경 평가 (Evaluation of the Thermal and Noise Environment in an Ancient Tomb installed a Duct-type HVAC System)

  • Opening an ancient tomb interior can deal fair damage for preservation in long period because of high moisture. In this study, a duct-type HVAC system was installed to preserve an ancient tomb and temperature and humidity was measured to analyze heat environment. Armhole was measured to search whether an ancient tomb receives effects of vibration caused by a duct-type HVAC system. According to the measured data, temperature in an ancient tomb is kept adaptively in conservation regardless of a duct-type HVAC system installation when it rains in summer. The other side, humidity is kept adaptively in conservation when installed duct-type HVAC system. But when it is in natural state, a lot of humidity by dew condensation phenomena. So it needs a duct-type system for an ancient tomb conservation. In the case of vibration, measurement value of 3 satisfy control but Germanic DIN 4150 does not satisfy. Therefore, equip must be such that it can prevent vibration for safety.

하천형 저수지 팔당호의 육수학적 특성:수문과 수환경 요인 (Limnological Characteristics of the River-type Paltang Reservoir, Korea: Hydrological and Environmental Factors)

  • 본 연구는 하천형 저수지 (팔당호)에서 강우 ·유량 패턴과 주요 수환경 요인과의 관련성을 파악하기 위해 1999년 1월부터 2001년 12월까지 일 모니터링 하였다. 수환경의 일 변동을 관찰한 결과 자연적 기후 요인과 유량 변동의 수문학적 요인 영향이 주요한 것으로 나타났다. 강수량은 수문 변동의 주된 근원이 되었고, 강수빈도는 유량의 변동 폭을 좌우하는 직접적인 변수가 될 수 있었다. 강수량은 11 ${\sim}$ 5월에 적었고, 6 ${\sim}$ 10월에 풍부하여 대비가 되었으며 여름철과 가을철에 편중된 구조를 보였다. 유량은 7 ${\sim}$ 9월사이에 변동 폭이 가장 컸고, 1 ${\sim}$ 2월로 갈수록 변동이 거의 없었다. 주요 환경 요인에 대한 수문학적 영향은 각 요인의 계절적 변동을 좌우하였고, 그 양상은 크게 증가형, 감소형 및 중간형의 3가지유형으로 나눌 수 있었다. 환경 요인 중에서 수온, 탁도, 색도 및 유기물(COD)요인은 증가형에, DO, pH는 감소형에 해당하였다. 중간형에는 전기전도도, 알칼리도 및 염소 이온 농도가 포함되었으며, 각 요인간에도 상호 관련성이 관찰되었다. 육수학적 특성으로 볼 때,호수형 저수지의 특성과 다소 이질적인 하천형 저수지의 수환경관리에 대해 수문학적 요인의 중요성이 제시될 수 있었다.
