Since Lean Construction has been introduced in 1992, much research is in progress to popularize lean concepts and principles. Most research focuses on developing lean concepts and tools and strengthening the limited domain of instrumental rationality and technical efficiency. However, the basic concepts of human resource management seem to be ignored by those who advocate lean production. Thus, the lean construction research related to human resource management must be once considered for popularization and activation of lean construction at the beginning stage in the domestic construction industry. Because human resources have a major influence on lean implementation and its success, especially at the beginning stage of lean construction. This paper considers the human resource requirements for the implementation of lean construction in the USA construction industry. The results from the study will provide the foundations to adapt lean construction into the domestic construction industry. Consequently, the study found that lean construction could improve the capability of human resource and human motivation if effectively implemented in the construction sites. Since lean construction emphasizes and focuses on improvement of relationships among project participants, constant application to human resource management is crucial for successful lean implementation.

The domestic market of CM at Risk has not been activated yet. It was analyzed duo to the fact that construction owners didn't have confidence in CM at Risk, because of the concerns regarding CM firms reliability, service, specialty, system and feasibility. Therefore, this study analyzed the problems to find the reason for declines in orders through a business diagnosis based on the Business Model Canvas(BMC) and set up the direction of business model improvement with one on one expert interviews. Additionally, we suggested the sub-activities for the business model improvements of CM at Risk service that are divided into 9 building blocks. Through this method, we determined that we would need preceding innovation activities such as good communication with customers, reinforcement of subcontract and excellence in project operations to convert the successful practice and settlement of the CM business model based in BMC. It is expected that the business model suggested from this study would contribute to improvement of CM at Risk competition and the differentiation strategy when compared with other firms. Also, it would be used a basis data to develop CM at Risk business model in the future.

Typically, General contractor in the construction industry can not plan their own of the amount of orders received, and because of the size of wide fluctuations in the amount of annual orders received for equipment or personnel to full-time employment has limits. Therefore, with a vertical division of labor between specialist trades which distributed the risk and the intention to improve the efficiency of production will be. For this reason, the production structure of the general subcontracting relationships are formed. In this way, Depending on the structure of production outsourced management of the project is the impact on the successful completion. Nevertheless, most construction companies do not achieve effective an organized cooperation until now. This study is to understand the actual conditions an organized cooperation between general contractor and specialist trades, and is look at ways to improve with find the complement. This paper is a preliminary study of the leading research based on the present condition of the cooperating companies considered to be the cause. A result of Analysis, the actual conditions in cooperation of the construction industry is staying in an external form of organizational cooperation And were not effective utilization of the organization for the cooperation a production. Specialist trades have had to register as partners for the amount of orders received, the level of practical cooperation was almost no activity to improve a production. in each step an organized cooperation in the construction industry, to improve productivity construction and to create of economic value for the cooperation of production is required.

Recently our government has presented the realization of 'Creative Economy' as a primary goal of the state administration through encouraging start-ups and ventures. Activation of entrepreneurship education is an important task for a national job creation and entrepreneurship activation policy. Since 2012, as a mid and long term project, the Korea Ministry of Education has led to activate creative entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial culture within university by installing entrepreneurship centers respectively in 61 universities. In this study, we provide future entrepreneurship improvement subject and policy implication through the case analysis of entrepreneurship center operation and management. In order to achieve the research purpose, we will examine the program and condition of successful entrepreneurship centers in overseas universities and explore the factors that can enhance domestic entrepreneurship center development and operational effectiveness by analyzing 61 university-entrepreneurship center survey. First, primary research was conducted through survey focusing on organization and operation of centers, entrepreneurship education, startup support for students and entrepreneurship culture activation to proceed with comparative analysis. Through this case study, we expect to be able to derive policy implications for the effective operation of entrepreneurship center and the nurture of creative entrepreneurial young generation.
The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental hygienists about on-the-job training in public health sector in an effort to stir up their on-the-job training(OJT) and to facilitate the planning of successful educational programs. A survey was conducted nationwide for two months in October and November 2006, and the answer sheets from 811 dental hygienists were analyzed. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. 40.7 percent of the dental hygienists investigated never underwent OJT geared toward public officials, which wasn't linked to oral health. 2. As for the experiences of professional oral health education(or OJT) as members of local public dental clinics by service term, 64.9 percent of the dental hygienists who had worked for less than 10 years never received that kind of education, and 70.5 percent of those with a 15-year or more career received that education just once(p<0.05). The dental hygienists who received that education viewed it favorably, as they found that to be conducive to their job performance. In the event of those who didn't receive that education, a lack of chance to do that was the most common reason. 3. In regard to motivation of receiving professional oral health education(or OJT), the largest rate of the dental hygienists who stood at 71.9 percent received that education voluntarily in pursuit of self-development and better job performance. The training programs provided by the oral health division of the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs were excluded in this study. As to educational spending by the dental hygienists or their employers over the past two years, 56.9 percent paid 100 thousand to less than 500 thousand won. 46.6 percent never paid for that, and about 15.5 percent received education at their own expenses. Concerning the form of OJT, lectures were provided to 50.3 percent. 4. The dental hygienists who worked in local public health clinics hoped for more intensive and better education and training related to oral health projects.
The reactivation for Art & Culture Content Space in Gangwon province need new turning point according to new approach with internal and external change. That should be established in sustainable possibility model with preexisted natural advantage instead of economical depression and global warming of in these days. That is not a choice to get a successful construction of art & culture content space in Gangwon province. Throughout of reactivation of art & culture content space in Gangwon province, this proposal should go on with diversity of culture and concrete art & culture educational program absolutely to get a goal in regional economical success and social good influence. Already Yeongwol region had lots of art & cultural spaces and developmental strategy compared with other regions in decade. In these points, I choose this region and would like to research Yeongwol region in limit. Thus I would examine and study about art & culture content space in Yeongwol region. And I will concretely suggest that this proposal is composed with economical creating employment and incoming. The reactivation for Art &Culture Content Space in Yeongwol will build up social and cultural influences to this region to get a new modern cultural images and improvement of common life of regional people by and large. In the way of the process to globalization, this reactivation project for Art &Culture Content Space in Yeongwol should go on the base of regional culture background as a mean of glocalization paradigm strategically. Ahead of developing model for globalization in macroscopic view point, we have to research the demend of reginal situation of cultural content and build up its own strength points. Because Art & Culture Content Space in Yeongwol is the place of people in Yeongwol directly as itself. And managing plans of reactivation of art & culture content space in Yeongwol should build up with diversity of culture and environmental circumstances.
As the next generation of global satellite navigation system, the Galileo project is about to witness an initial orbit validation stage as the successful test of navigation message transmission from Giove-A in 2007. The Space Geodesy division ana the Radio Astronomy division of the Korea Astronomy & Space Science Institute had collaborated on the field survey for the Galileo Sensor Station (GSS) RF environment of the proposed site near Jeju Tamla University from August 3rd to August 5th, 2006. The power spectrums were measured in full-band $(800{\sim}2000MHz)$ and in-band (E5, E6 and L1 band) in frequency domain for 24 hours respectively. Finally, we performed a time domain analysis to characterize strong in-band interference source based on the result of the previous step.

Recently in Korea, integration of F.P. & MCH programs for effective and efficient implementation of the health programs has been discussed actively. In fact, categorical health workers in fields have been trained and changed as an integrated health workers by government. But one of the most important problems that had to be solved for successful integration of F.P. and MCH programs, is that there must be a common indicator for the evaluation of the two health services (integrated indicator). We regarded reproductive efficiency (=R.E.) that had been proposed by Charlotter M$\ddot{u}$ller et al, as the good integrated indicator. The object of this brief article is to introduce the meaning of reproductive efficiency and to illustrate the usefulnesses of R.E. as the integrated health indicator by applying this indicator to the data from preliminary survey of Seosan demonstration project for integration of F.P. & MCH service supported by WHO. The results and conclusions are as follows 1) Definition of R.E. is the percentage of pregnancies that succeed in production normal, surving children after taking into account the frequency of all measurable types of adverse outcomes (End point for evaluation of survival is one year of age). 2) On the basis of the past pregnant history, reproductive efficiency of the 2,484 eligible women (15-44 years) was roughly 75% (But, in the concept of good births, it is not regarded whether the survived infant is normal health or not). 3) Compared with the results of the other two surveys of the rural area in Korea, reproductive efficiency has been slightly decreased than before, in spite of family planning and MCH services for past 20 years. Because the quantity of increased abortion rate overwhelmed that of the decreased infant mortality rate. 4) Reproductive efficiency has the object for measure many events during the period from the conception (Wanted pregnancy) to an normal surviving children as an 1 year of age. So these heterogenous adversities, ie, induced abortion, still births, spontaneous abortion, neonate & infant death, are aggregated as R.E. However, if the information of these important events and reproductive efficiency were given, R.E. is used as the comprehensive evaluation indicator for F.P. and M.C.H. after meticulous analysis the various components of R.E. 5) Economic loss for adverse outcomes of preg were pregnancy were calculated applying the medical cost at the relatively small sized hospital of small city. Economic loss for 100 cases of adverse outcome is 10,420,000 won, and economic loss for infant death is 46.1% of the total loss. So, it is rational to invest much more effort and than before to MCH programs.

The goal of this research is to investigate ways to improve science teaching methods to develop students' key competencies. Since the OECD DeSeCo (Definition and Selection of Key Competencies) project, key competencies are redefined as 'what people should know and be able to do in order to lead a successful life in a well-functioning society, which leads many countries to emphasize competency-based curriculum. In this research, we collected and analyzed foreign and domestic classroom cases that have implemented competency-based curriculum in science teaching. Through open-ended interviews with the teachers and principals, we explored ways to improve science teaching methods to develop students' key competencies. In foreign cases, science teachers emphasized students' knowing what KCs to accomplish, activities and student-centered learning, students' group activities and collaboration, and greater curriculum integration among subjects and contexts. Korean science teachers argued that the KCs should be realized through teaching methods and emphasized scientific inquiry learning whereby non-science track students could also benefit from science lessons. Korean science teachers also emphasized links to real-life situations, providing students with various learning experiences that supported students to develop the KCs, and the delivery of an integrated curriculum. In the conclusion section, the difficulties with the implementation of key competencies are discussed.

For a successful construction project, systematic and objective decision-making is a prerequisite from the planning and designing stages. However, previous LCC analysis methods have focused only on simple cost savings and the accompanying economic efficacy while missing the environmental aspects of a structure. Although recently, a new approach of integrated $CO_2$ analysis has been introduced, which is more advanced than the existing simple LCC methods, it is difficult to collect all of the data necessary for each evaluation item since the product-specific cost is not presented under the LCC. In this research, cost evaluation items were selected by relatively high weights and items with heavy influence over a decision-making process in order to suggest an LCC-LCA integrated analysis model that is useful in comprehensively assessing the economic cost and environmental cost throughout the whole life cycle of a structure. The developed LCC-LCA integrated analysis model was applied to actual practices and compared with previous methods to test the model's effectiveness.
