Immobilized enzymes have become the subject of considerable interest due to their excellent functional properties such as reusability, cost-effectiveness, and optimality during the past decades. Enzyme immobilization technology is not only used in industrial processes, but also a component technology of products for medical diagnostics, therapy, food industry, bio energy, and biomaterial detection. In this review, new methods for enzyme immobilization are introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of techniques in enzyme immobilization will be also discussed.

And it confirms the important degree against the education service quality dimension which the students perceive. The prior studies for consumer-brand relationships vested brands with personalities after had personified them. In these studies, a brand become the object of consumer's attitude, and former researchers investigated the types and styles of consumer-brand relationships based on this theory. However, I though that these studies did not follow the original concept of 'relationship' for they approached consumer as the subject and a brand as the object.

This study is the one group pretest-posttest design study with a view to evaluate the effects of convergence-based education on core basic nursing skills on self-efficacy, confidence and department satisfaction of lower-class nursing students. The subject of this study was 80 sophomore nursing students, the data was collected from March to April 2016. The self-efficacy, confidence and department satisfaction of the target students before and after the education were evaluated using the structured survey, and after the education, the performance ability of the target students was evaluated. The collected data were analyzed through paired t-test. The results of this study showed that all the self-efficacy(p=.045), confidence(p<.001) and department satisfaction(p=.018) increased significantly, indicating that the convergence-based education on core basic nursing skills was effective for improving the self-efficacy, confidence and department satisfaction of lower-class nursing students.

This study has been conducted to determine the fatigue symptoms(MFS) and its convergence association with occupational stress(KOSS) among small scale manufacturing male workers. The self-administered questionnaires were given to 428 workers employed in 14 work places under 50 members of manufacturing industries during the period from September 1st to 15th, 2015. As a results, the level of fatigue symptoms(MFS) was positively correlated with occupational stress(KOSS). Hierarchial multiple regression analysis revealed that the factors of influence with explanatory powers of 34.1% on fatigue symptoms(MFS) included sex, BMI, subject health status, smoking, regular exercise, drinking coffee, visiting out-patient department, sense of satisfaction in job life, and occupational stress(KOSS). Above results suggested that the level of occupational stress(KOSS) is so convergence influenced by variable factors as well as sociodemographic characteristics, health related characteristics and job-related characteristics, to a greater extent, by occupational stress(KOSS).

The purpose of this study was to explore practical meanings of convergence education and to seek ways of implementing it in school science education. The study adopted focus group interview method in order to elicit science teachers' perceptions and practical knowledge related to various ways of integrating educational aims and contents from the perspectives of science education. Two focus group interviews were held with four science teachers with the themes of the concept and potential of convergence education, and the implementation and systemic support, respectively. The qualitative data was analyzed by deriving major themes comprising teachers' perception on convergence education: they are 1) related concepts and rationales, 2) contents, methods, and assessment, 3) the characteristics of the science subject that make it suitable for convergent education, 4) teacher perception and professionalism required for implementing convergent education, and finally 5) environmental conditions for putting the idea into practice. Based on this result, the study discusses conceptual and practical issues for implementing convergence education in ways that contribute to overcoming the problems of the traditional educational system and reorienting science education towards the future society.

A personal authentication system based on biosignals has received increasing attention due to its relatively high security as compared to traditional authentication systems based on a key and password. Electrocardiography (ECG) measured from the chest or wrist is one of the widely used biosignals to develop a personal authentication system. In this study, we investigated the feasibility of using similar ECG measured behind the ears to develop a personal authentication system. To this end, similar ECGs were measured from thirty subjects using a pair of three electrodes attached behind each of the ears during resting state during which the standard Lead-I ECG was also simultaneously measured from both wrists as baseline ECG. The three ECG components, Q, R, and S, were extracted for each subject as classification features, and authentication accuracy was estimated using support vector machine (SVM) based on a 5×5-fold cross-validation. The mean authentication accuracies of Lead I-ECG and similar ECG were 90.41 ± 8.26% and 81.15 ± 7.54%, respectively. Considering a chance level of 3.33% (=1/30), the mean authentication performance of similar ECG could demonstrate the feasibility of using similar ECG measured behind the ears on the development of a personal authentication system.

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the system to integrate and manage the in-vehicle interactions between the drivers and the in-vehicle mobile IT devices. Background: As the mobile IT technology is being used anywhere, the drivers are interacting with the mobile IT device on driving situations. The distraction of the driver's attention causes the car accidents. It is necessary to develop the HVI(Human Vehicle Interface System) to integrate and manage the in-vehicle interactions with IT devices. Method: The HVI System is designed not as the interfacing subject but as the supervising system to monitor the driver's status and support the driver to concentrate on the primary tasks. The HVI system collects the status information of the car and driver and estimate the driving workload. Results: The HVI system controls how to provide the output information based on the driving workload. We implemented the HVI system prototype and applied in the real vehicle with the HVI cell phone and the HVI car navigation system. Conclusion: Depending on the driving situations, the HVI system prevented the information output in dangerous situation and diversified the modality and the intensity of the output information. Application: We will extend the HVI system to be connected the other various IT devices and verity the effectiveness of the system through various experiments.

State-based infrastructure on IT-based network are prone to numerous cyber attack including subsequent hacking and internet infringement. These acts of terrorism are increasing because of the expanding IT convergence technology. Recently, the trend on cyber security monitoring and control researches focus on combining the general idea of security monitoring and control along with IT field and other control systems. This convergence trend has been increasing in both the use and importance. This research analyzes the state-based infrastructure monitoring and control system, its vulnerability as well as its improvement by incorporating the cyber convergence systems to existing systems. The subject of this research is for extensive use of CCTV systems which is expanded for 'CCTV Monitoring and Control Field' as well as 'Traffic Monitoring and Control Field' operated by 'Intelligent Traffic Information System' and Disaster Management Area which is studied in various fields. Eventually, the objective of the paper is to solve these issues, to apply related systems and to suggest improvement on the convergence system.

The tendency of the current times require education to focus on convergence, and the same applies to the essence of ceramics and design base imagination and creativity. For effective integration, a wide range of experimentations is required both in terms of academic and methodic approaches. This study analyzes the [TeamTeam Class] curriculum, converging ceramics with design initiated in the second semester (autumn semester) of 2020. Through reference materials on ceramics and design convergence education, it was possible to classify the following 5 categories: Subject, Method, Management, space and communication. The aim of the study is to find resolutions to overcome existing issues and problems in search of more effective methods. Although this study is based on convergence education, [TeamTeam Class] at Kookmin University, I hope to extend it further to also consider education after COVID-19.
