Second, Through the operation of the start-up counseling center in the university, it will be possible to recognize the education system supported by the university, the university start-up support project that can carry out the indirect experience of start-up, and the government start-up support policy that supports funds. Third, It will be necessary to open a program that can provide start-up mentoring through connection with mentors in the start-up field, such as professors, employees, and senior start-ups in universities. Fourth, It is necessary to develop thorough education on the preparation process of start-ups, start-up special lectures where senior start-ups can indirectly experience the failure of start-ups, and programs for customized start-up education according to college students' major and individual tendencies.

  • Youth unemployment including college graduates has become more serious in recent years. It is very necessary to study the factors affecting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions. These days, the number of female entrepreneurs has been increased dramatically. There have been many successful entrepreneurs with technology background in Korea. Until now, there have been not so many empirical studies examining moderating effects of gender and college major. A lot of studies have examined the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention of college students. The purpose of this article is to examine gender and major as moderators in the relationship. Until now, there has been very few research investigating the moderating effects of gender and major on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Survey questionaries were given to 400 college students randomly chosen in Gangwon-do. Finally, 334 surveys were used to analyze the relationship. The findings of our study are as follows. First, similar to previous studies, entrepreneurial orientation of college students has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, participation both in school entrepreneurship courses and out of school entrepreneurship education does positively affect entrepreneurial intention. Gender and major are moderating variables between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Third, compared to male students, female students with low entrepreneurial orientation show much lower entrepreneurial intention. Fourth, compared to Non-STEM students, STEM students with low entrepreneurial orientation show much lower entrepreneurial intention. Thus, in order to improve entrepreneurial intention among college students, it is very important to develop entrepreneurial orientation, especially for female and STEM college students.

  • By identifying the relationship between Interest of Entrepreneurship and intention, this study clarifies the entire lifecycle process leading up to a college student's decision to start a business. We explore whether an individual's Interest of Entrepreneurship stemming from start-up activities and the interest of parents toward their children's start-up affect start-up intention. For this purpose, attitude toward start-up, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, which are components of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), were set as parameters. Furthermore, start-up self-efficacy was established as a moderating variable to examine the relationships between factors and their importance. In addition, survey questionnaires were collected from 300 college students in Korea, and after excluding 18 insincere responses, a total of 282 were analyzed using SPSS 26 and AMOS 26. The main findings are as follows. First, an individual's Interest of Entrepreneurship has a significant impact on start-up intention, mediated by attitude toward start-up, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Therefore, future college start-up education should apply the components of TPB to enhance its effectiveness, and various start-up activities should be provided to foster students' interest. Secondly, parents' interest in start-up has a significant impact on subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. Therefore, even if parents are interested in their children's start-up activities, such interest does not necessarily lead to favorable attitude. However, as it significantly impacts subjective norms and perceived behavioral control, start-up education targeting parents linked to these parameters could increase college students' Interest of Entrepreneurship and intentions.

The program provides an authentic learning experience of real-world business management by allowing learners to make decisions related to R&D, marketing, production, and finance through a business simulation game, and check the results in real time. In 2022, University A and B each ran a business simulation game-based program as an extra-curricular activity. University A conducted a traditional instructor-led debriefing where the instructor explained the summarized process and results, while University B implemented a structured debriefing which had been developed based on Gibbs' and 3D models. To assess the effect of the structured debriefing compared to the traditional instructor-led debriefing, business knowledge and entrepreneurship competencies were measured three times. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to test for the differences between the two groups and to examine interaction effects between group and time. The structured debriefing group achieved statistically significantly higher academic scores than the traditional instructor-led debriefing group at the post-test and in 2 weeks. There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of entrepreneurship competencies. There was no interaction effect between group and time, both in academic achievement and in entrepreneurship competencies. In conclusion, the simulation game-based program integrated with the structured debriefing session is more likely to have a stronger impact on academic achievement and its retention.
