  • This paper examines the impact of university social responsibility on brand image and student satisfaction. Social responsibility impact on consumer behavior has been studied extensively. But the same impact has not been rigorously tested to the same extend in the education sector. Firstly, we analyze the perception of university social responsibility (USR) and its components, including (1) the quality of teaching programs, facilities, and academic staff; (2) supporting learning activities; and (3) human resource policies. Secondly, we investigate the relationship between university social responsibility, brand image, and student satisfaction. The study examined these relationships through a proposed economic model based on answers from a survey of 298 students at the University of Food Industry Ho Chi Minh City. From the above survey data, the author proceeds to quantify variables and, based on Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient, EFA factor analysis, and linear regression, to measure the impact of each social responsibility factor on business of the university and student satisfaction. The results show that university social responsibility actually affects the university's brand image and student satisfaction. Our findings suggest that universities should develop an appropriate marketing strategy to reinforce brand image and student satisfaction through the university social responsibility model.

  • In this paper, we investigated the mathematical output of a gifted student's independent study. We chose one student who was taking a mentorship course in mathematics at the Gifted Education Center in Chonnam National University, and analyzed the characters of the result which a student showed through the output of independent study and studied the psychological change of a student while he was making a presentation of the results of his study. We found following facts. First, a mentor-independent study improves a mathematical gifted student's inductive thinking and ability to generalize and apply to other cases. Second, presenting a mathematical gifted student's output for mentor-independent study improves his ability of mathematical communication in the abilities of creative problem solving. Finally, there is an increased change in his perception and self-efficacy of mathematics after the presentation.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose ways to improve the library field practice of Department of Library and Information Science to improve the field environment and educational content, enhance students' field practice, increase efficiency, and increase students' satisfaction. To this end, a survey and interview survey were conducted on students who were going to do field training, and the results are as follows. First, students were well aware of what preparations should be made at school before going to field training. Second, students showed high awareness of their rights guarantees and requests for action in the event of problems at field training institutions. Third, students showed a high demand that field training should guarantee the minimum hourly wage. What is an issue in this regard is that policies that can satisfy both the burden of universities for continuous student guidance and evaluation, the burden of training institutions to conduct education while paying practical expenses, and the rights of students to be protected. This study was aimed at students, but it seems that realistic field practice policies should be presented from various angles as research on government ministries or university authorities is added.

  • In this study, we compare the multiple intelligence of gifted students with the multiple intelligence of their children recognized by their parents. The subjects of the study are 118 students and their parents at the gifted education center affiliated with A University. First of all, there is a difference between the multiple intelligence of gifted students and the multiple intelligence recognized by their parents. Parents are highly regarded their children in all multiple intelligence components. Second, there are differences in multiple intelligence of gifted students' gender. The difference in multiple intelligence of children recognized by parents depending on the gender of the student was similar to the student's results. Third, there are not much difference in multiple intelligence between elementary and middle school students. However, there is a big difference between students and parents in the elementary school group compared to the middle school students. Therefore, since multi-intelligence can be developed by individual experience and environment throughout one's life, an educational environment that reflects objective evaluation and student needs rather than parental subjective judgment should be created.

Result: Undergraduate students' perception about the elderly was slightly positive($2.98{\pm}1.51$). The significant factors associated with the perception about the elderly were gender, age, present residing state with the elderly, experience of residing with the elderly at the past. Male students' perception about the elderly was more positive than female. Among 18 items, 'wise' and 'knowledgeable' was highly related to the perception about the elderly(r=.671, p=.001). Conclusion: These findings indicate that the items of optimistic, attractive, flexible and good were the impressive perceptions about the elderly for the undergraduate students. • The results of this study, suggest public communication to promote the use of radiation as follows: first, suitable information for the recipient's perception patterns should be provided, as there is a difference in risk perception and acceptance between the experts and the public. Thus, information on the necessity of nuclear power should be provided to the public, while information based on technical risks is provided by the experts. Second, since the levels of perception, knowledge, and attitudes increased highly for sectors which use radiation after the class, classes should be provided continuously to increase students' perception, knowledge, and attitude, which are all preemptive variables which induce positive behavioral changes. Third, since the seven sectors which use radiation are highly correlated, arguments for the necessity of other sectors should be based on the necessity of the medical sector.
