  • In this paper, we developed contact type temperature sensor with single crystal silicon strip thermopile. This sensor consists of 15 p-type single crystal silicon strips, 17 n-types and contact electrodes on silicon dioxide silicon membrane. The result of electromotive force measuring showed very good characteristic as $15.18mV/^{\circ}C$ when temperature difference between the two ends of the thermopile occurs by applying thermal contact on the thermopile which was fabricated with silicon strip of $200{\mu}m$ length, $20{\mu}m$ width, $1{\mu}m$ thickness.

  • By considering a certain univalent function in the open unit disk 𝕌, that maps 𝕌 onto a strip domain, we introduce a new class of analytic and close-to-convex functions by means of a certain non-homogeneous Cauchy-Euler-type differential equation. We determine the coefficient bounds for functions in this new class. Relevant connections of some of the results obtained with those in earlier works are also provided.

  • A novel electroplating process is described and effects of anode lay-out thickness distribution and on platiting rate are discussed. Microphotograhic analysis indicates are compact and less "POROUS " than of barrel and rack. With this process production cost reduction and capacity increase could be achieved by a rate of 60% and 97% respectively, as compared to our present barrel plating process. This process disclose a number of beneficial processes such as color coding system on TO-92 package and development of a new tin bath formula.

  • A laboratory scale hot strip rolling wear simulator(HRWS) was developed for the purpose of investigating the tribological phenomena occurred in production hot strip rolling mills. The HRWS' main parts are the electric heater, the mechanical descaler, tandem type 2-4Hi rolling mill stands, the cooling chamber, the tension controller and coiler. By simulating the tribelogical phenomena in rolling process at laboratory, wear patterns, cracks, cat-ear wear, black film, effect of hot rolling oil lubrication, etc. were reproduced, and discussed on the performace of simulator.

  • In this paper, we consider a convex univalent function fα,β which maps the open unit disc 𝕌 onto the vertical strip domain Ωα,β = {w ∈ ℂ : α < ℜ < (w) < β} and introduce new subclasses of both close-to-convex and bi-close-to-convex functions with respect to an odd starlike function associated with Ωα,β. Also, we investigate the Fekete-Szegö type coefficient bounds for functions belonging to these classes.

  • A kinematic and dynamic optimal design of a new parallel-type rolling mill based upon Stewart platform manipulator is investigated. To provide sufficient degrees-of-freedom in the rolling process and the structural stability of each stand, a parallel manipulator with six legs is considered. The objective of this new parallel-type rolling mill is to permit an integrated control of the strip thickness, strip shape, pair crossing angle, uniform wear of the rolls, and tension of the strip. By splitting the weighted Jacobian matrices Into two parts, the linear velocity, angular velocity, force, and moment transmissivities are analyzed. A manipulability measure, the ratio of the manipulability ellipsoid volume and the condition number of a split Jacobian matrix, is defined. Two kinematic parameters, the radius of the base and the angle between two neighboring Joints, are optimally designed by maximizing the global manipulability measure in the entire workspace. The maximum force needed in the hydraulic actuator is also calculated using the structure determined through the kinematic analysis and the Plucker coordinates. Simulation results are provided.

  • Recently, with the increase in the use of urban solar power, solar modules are required to produce high power in limited areas. In this report, we proposed the fabrication of a high-power photovoltaic module using shingles technology, and developed accurate string characteristic simulations based on circuit modeling. By comparing the resistance components between the interconnected cells and the cell strips, the ECA resistance was determined to be 0.003 Ω. Based on the equivalent circuit of the modeled shingled string, string simulation was performed according to the type of cell strip. As a result, it was determined that the cell efficiency of the 4-cell strip was the highest at 19.66%, but the efficiency of the string simulated with the 6-cell strip was the highest at 20.48% in the string unit.

  • The electromagnetic scattering characteristics by a periodic strip grating on a grounded dielectric slab for TM polarization case are examined from the viewpoints of both the reflection grating and the leaky wave antenna problems. Numerical results far two kinds of Bragg blazing (resonance type and non-resonance type) phenomena are given and some discussions on the properties(complex propagation constants, scattering characteristics, and distributions of strip current density) are presented. The comparison of the Bragg blazing phenomena between TM and TE polarization cases are also given in detail.

  • The circuit substrate was made from the Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics(LTCC) that a $\varepsilon_\gamma$ was 7.8. Accumulated Varactor and the low noise transistor which were a Surface Mount Device-type element on LTCC substrate. Let passive element composed R, L, C with strip-line of three dimension in the multilayer substrate circuit inside, and one structure accumulate band-pass filter, resonator, a bias line, a matching circuit, and made it. Used Screen-Print process, and made Strip-line resonator. A design produced and multilayer-type VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator), and recognized a characteristic with the Spectrum Analyzer which was measurement equipment. Measured multilayer structure VCO is oscillation frequency 1292[MHz], oscillation output -28.38[dBm], hamonics characteristic -45[dBc] in control voltage 1.5[V], A phase noise is -68.22[dBc/Hz] in 100 KHz offset frequency. The oscillation frequency variable characteristic showed 30[MHz/V] characteristic, and consumption electric current is approximately 10[mA].

  • Governing equations and numerical solution methods are derived for the analysis of a combination-type-staggered-labyrinth seal used in high performance steam turbines. A bulk flow is assumed for each combination-type-staggered-labyrinth cavity. Axial flow through a throttling labyrinth strip is determined by Neumann's leakage equation and circumferential flow is assumed to be completely turbulent in the labyrinth cavity. Moody's wall-friction-factor formula is used for the calculation of wall shear stresses. For the reaction force developed by the seal, linearized zeroth-order and first-order perturbation equations are developed for small motion near the centered position. Integration of the resultant first-order pressure distribution along and around the seal defines the rotordynamic coefficients of the combination-type-staggered-labyrinth seal. Theoretical results of leakage and rotordynamic characteristics for the IP4-stage seal of USC (ultra super critical) steam turbine are shown with the effect of sump pressure, the number of throttling labyrinth strip, and rotor speed.
