This study proposes a strategy to attract visitors by analyzing the justification for hosting the 2027 Summer World University Games in Chungcheong, Korea, as well as by assessing the internal and external factors to promote regional development. Using Environmental Analysis as the diagnostic approach, we focus on strength/opportunity (SO), strength/threat (ST), weakness/opportunity (WO), and weakness/threat (WT) analyses. SO analysis show that a matching strategy of mid- to long-term cooperation among the four cities and provinces in Chungcheong and development of local sports by promoting its linkages to science, and industry offer best strategic use-value. ST analysis shows that optimal infrastructure development and establishment of competition management strategies in preparation for non-face-to-face engagement make balanced regional development possible. WO analysis shows the need for rearrangement and renovation of outdated sports facilities, development of programs linked to convergence sports tourism products, efficient and strategic attraction activities, and promoting sustainable development of bed town cities. WT analysis suggests that the imbalance in regional development due to expansion of sports facilities, insufficient cultural contents in tourism, and tourism demand fluctuation are potential problems. Follow-up studies can focus on deeper analysis of the possibility and attractiveness of hosting the Summer World University Games in Chungcheong, Korea using qualitative methods such as focus group interviews and in-depth interviews with stakeholders and local residents.

The BSC(Balanced Scorecard), a strategic performance evaluation system, has drawn attention as an innovative tool for improving an organization's performance. Recently, the Korean government has recognized the advantages of the BSC and encouraged public enterprises to implement the BSC. However, it has been pointed out that many public enterprises have faced difficulties in constructing and operating the BSC due to lack of clear understanding, a complex environment of performance evaluation, and inherent features of organizational culture. Therefore, this study analyzed a project case of a public enterprise, Korea Southern Power (KSP), which has ever been assessed as an excellent organization in implementing BSC and managing performance. This paper provides procedures, activities, resources (manpower and time), and decision-making issues and criteria required for implementing BSC, along with real project outcomes of the company. Such project details are expected to be used as helpful guidelines for public or non-profit organizations's BSC implementation. Furthermore, the KSP's efforts to cope with its problems and implications derived from the efforts are also expected to help other organizations construct and operate the BSC effectively.
This study aims to examine the International Development Cooperations (IDCs) of Daesoon Jinrihoe and discuss the future prospects of these programs in terms of Daesoon Thought. The international community calls for the active participation of various donors, and this is not limited to only traditional donors such as governments, public institutions, and multilateral organizations. In this regard, the role of Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for religious communities is recognized as important. Daesoon Jinrihoe has systematized its IDCs by expanding its overseas services to implement the three major works with the official establishment of the Daejin International Volunteers Association (DIVA) in 2013. In addition to these activities, Daesoon Jinrihoe was selected by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in 2022. As a new religion, Daesoon Jinrihoe does not provide as much support via FBOs when compared to other traditional religions (Christianity, Buddhism, Catholicism, etc.), but it is able to conduct strategic IDCs by utilizing its expertise and capabilities (education, healthcare, etc.). In fact, the nature and content of the projects carried out by these FBOs and Daesoon Jinrihoe are similar, and the results have been remarkable considering that these programs are still in their infancy. Above all, Daesoon Jinrihoe's foreign aid is more meaningful because it does not have a religious purpose such as missionary work, and it is funded by donations from believers. In carrying out IDCs, it is necessary to promote the professionalism of IDCs based on the strategic linkage of the three major works (charity aid, social welfare, and education). It is also necessary to recognize the value and spirit of IDCs for peace and coexistence based on mutual beneficence.

This study analyzes the effect of enterepreneurial competencies on start-up performance through network activities for young entrepreneurs. Enterepreneurial competencies are composed of opportunity recognition competencies, marketing competencies, technical competencies, and creative competencies. A total of 354 questionnaires collected from young entrepreneurs residing in the country were used for empirical analysis. SPSS v28.0 and PROCESS macro v4.3 were analyzed based on the research model of a single-parameter single-mediated model. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that among the enterepreneurial competencies, opportunity recognition competencies, marketing competencies, technical competencies, and creative competencies have a positive (+) significant effect on network activities. Among them, it was found that marketing competence has the greatest effect on network activities and technical competence has the least effect. Second, network activities were found to have a significant effect on start-up performance in a positive (+) direction. Third, among enterepreneurial competencies, opportunity recognition competence, marketing competence, technical competence, and creative competence were found to have a positive (+) effect on start-up performance. Among them, it was found that creative competence had the greatest effect and technical competence had the smallest effect. Fourth, network activities were found to mediate between enterepreneurial competencies and start-up performance. As for the relative effect size of the indirect effects of independent variables, it was found that marketing competence had the greatest effect on start-up performance and technology competence had the smallest effect. The academic implications of this study include investigating the significance and relationship of various variables, providing verification of theoretical frameworks related to entrepreneurship, identifying the main drivers of start-up success, and suggesting the importance of the network between enterepreneurial competencies and start-up performance. In addition, the practical implications of this study suggest the importance of marketing competencies for networking, and suggest differentiation of competencies. It emphasizes the strategic role of creative competence and provides guidance to policymakers for supporting start-ups on customized policies for fostering valuable start-ups.

This study empirically derives the factors affecting the practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of venture firms in Korea from the perspective of Slack Resource Theory and the company's growth strategy, and provides implications for future expansion of venture firm's CSR activities. In Korea, venture firms have grown into important players in the national economy since the late 1990s through social contributions such as economic value creation, job creation, and technological development. As venture companies grow in status, positive relationships with stakeholders and responsibility for environmental and social values are required. Now, CSR is becoming an important strategic choice for SMEs and venture firms. However, until now, CSR-related academic research has mainly focused on large or listed corporations, and there is not much research on SMEs or venture firms. In particular, research on the factors that lead venture companies to make important business decisions of participating in CSR activities is not there yet. This study applied logistic multiple regression analysis using the '2023 Survey on Venture Firms' conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. As a result of this study, operating profit, which is an available resources of venture companies, and government support, which is a potential resource, have a positive impact on venture firms's CSR activities. Also, business relationships with large corporations and expectation for future cooperation also have a positive impact on CSR activities as the determinants. On the other hand, it was analyzed that in venture firms where ownership and management are not separated, the higher the CEO's shareholding ratio, the more negatively it affects CSR activities. This study contributes academically as the first empirical study on the determinants of CSR activities of venture firms in Korea and provides implications that government policy support and collaboration between large corporations and venture firms are important in order to expand CSR activities of venture firms.

This study by the authenticity of the CSV in social contribution activities and not giving a positive effect on job satisfaction of employees, as adjusted by the identification variables in the organization that were neglected during the research for the CSV its positive impact on job satisfaction the purpose is to verify whether this study has been carried out by a survey of employees of some medium-sized enterprises and large corporations to small businesses and worker being served on them, social contributions derived for the research activities of public interest and corporate profit activities classified and divided whether the legitimacy of the employees for social contribution activities that are embedded in its base in the perception of moral legitimacy and practical perceived legitimacy of these four variables were presented, and how these variables presented a positive effect on employee job satisfaction, control Job organizational changes saw equate to verify that controls are effective. As a result, first, the authenticity of the CSV is giving a positive effect on the activity of public interest've found that giving a positive effect on the perception of employees and the moral legitimacy, and job satisfaction of employees has showed that it does not affect, whichIt could not be verified because of the moderating effect between job satisfaction and perceived moral legitimacy. Second, CSVDML authenticity showed that a positive effect on the perception of practical legitimacy by giving employees a positive impact on corporate profit activity, which results significantly affected the job satisfaction of employees. And moderator of the organization identified has been proven that there is a moderating effect between job satisfaction and perceived practical justification. In order to improve employee job satisfaction by the public activities through this research, public service activities can be seen that the need for settlement of corporate culture that can impress an astute awareness of the strategic objectives of companies seeking employees.

The purpose of this study is to look for a development plan for strategic brand logo by a means of scrutinizing general characteristics and trend in the visual properties of outdoor logo brands. In this study, data research and analysis were conducted over the 68 outdoor brands in circulation in the domestic market based on the information on the website of each brand in order to examine the visual characteristics of an outdoor brand logo. For this, it was performed to examine the desired brand concept of each brand and to analyze the visual characteristics of typeface, color, and type of logo. The results of this research are the followings: First, it was found that the most popular typeface in outdoor brand logos is a capitalized Gothic type. It seems that the logo type is designed to symbolize power, toughness, and masculinity and to express the concept of sportswear brand. Second, when it comes to color, black color tone appeared most frequently, and also reddish colors among chromatic colors were prevailing over others like green, blue, or yellow. It is believed that reddish colors were used to express passion, power, youthfulness, and energy; black color tone for tough, masculine power. Third, the logo symbol of outdoor brands mostly contains mountain, the heads of powerful animals, spherical shape/abstract image that embodies outdoor sports activities. It was analyzed that these resulting symbols were chosen to convey the images of nature, conquest, challenge, future, and passion that are the brand concept of most outdoor brands. Today, in our country, the logo of an outdoor brand is the important factor that symbolizes the brand concept, function, or characteristics. Therefore, the necessity of constant follow-up researches is required to devise the way of designing the brand logo that can build brand power and enhance brand image.
Sales Force Automation (SFA) is a strategic information system and one of the components of operational CRM system. SFA supports salespeople's activities such as selection of potential customers, creative value proposition, after-sales services, etc. SFA is increasingly used in many companies because it has the advantages to raise the salespeople's productivity by developing forecasting ability, value proposition ability, after sales service ability etc. Many researches have shown that implementation of SFA leads to the increase of salepeople performance, organizational performance, and quality of customer relationship. However, Some prior studies have discussed on the SFA implementation failure and pointed out that one of important causes of this failure is salespeople's resistance to SFA. Although many researches explain SFA acceptance phenomenon using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), these researches didn't deeply investigate the salespeople's resistance to SFA. Therefore, this study focuses on the factors influencing salespeople's resistance to SFA and the relationships among these factors. This study identified three factors (salespeople's perceived loss of power, perceived loss of autonomy, and perceived time and effort waste) influencing salespeople's resistance to SFA. The hypotheses testing results showed that salespeople's perceived loss of power and perceived time and effort waste significantly increased salespeople's resistance to SFA. And salespeople's perceived loss of power plays a mediating role between perceived loss of autonomy/perceived time and effort waste and salespeople's resistance to SFA. At the end of the paper, theoretical and managerial implications of this study and the limitations and future research directions are discussed.

This research is part of the Korean-ASEAN Official Development Assistance (ODA) project, specifically exploring the possibility of using public libraries as a place for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) literacy training for women from ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries. Women from ASEAN countries are often minorities in ICT capacity building. A survey of 1,000 female public library users - 100 people from each of the ten ASEAN countries - and in-depth interviews with librarians from national libraries were conducted. The survey results showed that 68.8% of respondents perceived public libraries as a suitable place for ICT literacy training. 27.5% of respondents visited libraries for ICT-related activities, including information retrieval, e-mail, SNS, etc., Meanwhile, findings from the interviews highlighted the importance of having up-to-date ICT infrastructure - computers, Internet, professional ICT skill training for librarians, strategic planning for policies, budgets, and cooperation with other related institutions - in public libraries in order to provide effective ICT training.
This study is to review the problem concerned with aviation safety in Korea and suggest the solution to secure the aviation safety, in respect of regulation. At first, the definition and characteristics of aviation safety are studied, and then the endeavor for the aviation safety of ICAO and FAA are reviewed. All the fields of aviation safety area are included in the scope of this study; airworthiness in aircraft production and maintenance, flight operation, airport operation and air traffic control. The level of safety can be estimated by the frequency of accidents and seriousness. The causes of air accidents can be summarized as five factors; human factor, traffic environment. aircraft, weather, and unexpected incident. The activities to protect accidents are also can be summarized as five areas; man, machine, medium, mission and management. ICAO established the standards and recommends for the aviation safety, and adopted strategic action plan for 21st century. Federal Aviation Administration of USA also contributes for the aviation safety of world wide. Nowadays, ICAO and FAA tries to coordinate each other to set up efficient and effective ways for the aviation safety. ICAO developed safety oversight manual and FAA developed model regulations, individually. However, there has been trials to merge the results of each institute's studies. The direction of this endeavor is to meet the new environment related to globalization of air transport industry. It is necessary for our government to improve the aviation safety regulation system to address the new wave of aviation safety system pursued by international organization. A systematic and comprehensive measure should be devised by cooperation of all the related field and area.
