선박 추진용 유압작동식 다판 마찰클러치 고착현상 고장탐구 (Root cause analysis of sticking in hydraulically actuated multi-disc friction clutch for ship propulsion)

  • 본 연구는 고무 탄성커플링을 적용한 특수선의 디젤엔진 추진체계에서 유압작동식 다판, 습식 마찰클러치의 고착에 대한 원인분석 내용이다. 클러치 고착원인 분석을 위해 피쉬본((fish bone) 방법으로 클러치 및 감속기어 분해조사, 선박 탑재상태에서의 체계 시험 및 부품 조사, 비파괴 시험 등을 통해 수행하였다. 마찰판 고착은 클러치 중공축의 크랙부를 통해 제어오일 누설로 인한 슬립, 마찰열 발생에 의해 발생되었다. 마찰판 냉각 오일 또한 크랙부를 통해 동시에 누설에 기인한 유량부족으로 클러치 마찰판은 국부적인 눌러붙임이 발생하는 핫스팟(hot spot)에 의해 고착되었다.

RC-S 복합보의 역학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Machenical Properties of Composite Beam Composed End Reinforced Concrete and Center Steel)

  • 본 연구에서는 단부 철근콘크리트구조와 중앙부 철골구조로 이루어진 복합구조 보를 대상으로 내력 및 강성, 변형능력을 평가하기 위해 반복재하 실험을 행하였다. 주된 실험변수는 철근콘크리트와 철골보의 이종구조 이음부부의 응력전달을 위해 철골보에 접합되는 철근의 개수와 단부 콘크리트를 구속하여 강성을 상승시킬 목적으로 설치되는 부착판의 설치유무이다. 실험결과 모든 실험체가 방추형의 이력 거동을 나타내며 안정된 거동을 하였으며, 내력에 있어서는 부착판 설치 실험체의 경우가 기본형 실험체 보다 높게 나타났다. 또한, 강성에 있어서도 단부에 부착판을 설치한 실험체가 설치하지 않은 실험체에 비하여 보다 높게 나타났으며, 모든 실험체가 최대 내력시의 부재각이 0.03rad. 이상의 변형능력을 나타내고 있다.

Process Tape를 사용한 마그네슘 합금의 저항 점 용접 특성 (Resistance Spot Welding Characteristics of Mg Alloy Using Process Tape)

  • Recently, studies about application of magnesium alloy sheet to automotive bodies are on the increase. For application to automotive bodies, researches about characteristics of resistance spot welding of magnesium alloy sheet are essential. Electrode life of resistance spot welding of magnesium alloy is very short due to sticking of magnesium alloy to copper alloy electrode. To increase electrode life, most effective method is inserting cover plate between electrode and magnesium sheet. But application of cover plate to actual process is difficult and decreases welding productivity. Process tape supplied automatically as cover plate can minimize lose of productivity and increase welding quality. In this study, resistance spot welding of magnesium alloy is carried out with applying process tape. Acceptable welding current region according to electrode force and welding time is determined.

The Image Resolution Compare to Having Lead Plate or Not Lumbar Lateral Projection

  • The purpose of this study is to know some changes of resolution and image if we remove scattered ray using lead plate when doing lumbar lateral projection. Using 3 DR system(2 FD types, 1 CCD type) equipments and 2 film system equipments, we gain the image whether the phantom of abdomen equivalent sticking resolution chart has lead plate or not, whether we do collimation or not. Also, we use ion chamber, measure radiation exposure rate and change to entrance surface dose from it. we gain that images in the greatest condition of taking in clinic. 5 people in this group decoded resolution with our eyes, measured thickness of images and compared them from each equiments. Resolution has difference to size of collimation in DR FD type. Also there is no difference the original image with the new image which we abbreviated mAs. In DR CCD type, resolution didn't have difference whether lead plate is or not and whether we do collimation or not. In film type, existing or nonexisting of lead plate didn't influence on resolution. Lead plate makes the quality of image higher due to reducing scattered ray, it doesn't influence on resolution.

DNA 칩 제작을 위한 로봇 시스템의 개발 (Development of Microarrayer for Manufacturing DNA Chip)

  • This study exploits the robot system which is necessary in gene study and bio-technology industry. As well, a DNA chip, which of use has been increased recently, can be manufactured with this system. The robot consists of a device spotting DNA on the silylated slide, a well plate, a bed for fixing well plates, devices of washing and drying the pin in DNA spotting .device, a distillation-water vessel, and a discharge vessel of wash water. We made the period of sticking DNA to the pin on the well plate to be 15 seconds. The spot size of DNA was set to be 0.28 mm on the average by bringing the slide into contact with pin during 1 second. If DNA is spotted in minimum space possible about 0.32mm, this system can stick about 8,100 DNA spots on the well plate with this rate. Analyzing the procedure: Movement starts, Pin washes, dries, and smears DNA on the well plate. Spotting DNA onto 12 chips took 2 minutes and 50 seconds.

블랭킹 공정을 이용한 STS/Al 클래드 판재의 계면 접합력 측정에 관한 연구 (Study About Measurement of Interfacial Bonding Strength of STS/Al Clad sheet by Blanking Process)

  • The clad sheet material is produced by a roll-bonding process of one or more materials with different properties. Good formability of clad sheet material is an essential property in to deform a clad metal sheet into a part or component. Performance of the clad sheet material largely depends on interfacial bond strength between different materials. In this study, interfacial bond strength of STS/Al clad sheet was analyzed by varying experimental parameters using a blanking process. Experimental parameters are the punching speed, clearance, and stacking order of plate materials. In addition, blanking test results were compared with bond strengths measured by the T-peel test, that analyzes interface bonding strength of the standard clad sheet. The blanking process was analyzed by the finite element method under the sticking condition of interface of different materials, and experimental results and analysis results were compared.

스퀴즈 효과를 고려한 사판식 피스톤 펌프 홀더의 그루브 유무에 따른 부하특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Load Characteristics of a Swash Plate Piston Pump Holder (Cradle) with Grooves Considering the Squeeze Effect)

  • The load characteristics of a piston pump holder due to the squeeze effect are influenced by the surface shape and gap thickness of the holder (cradle). Therefore, the pressure distribution and the load capacity of the piston pump holder due to the squeeze effect are studied by using the CFD software and the surface shape and gap thickness of the piston pump holder are considered. In order to verify the accuracy of numerical results, the load capacities of a circular plate holder are numerically studied, and the accuracy of numerical results is verified by comparing with the theoretical results. Also, the pressure distribution and load capacity of the rectangular plate holder of a piston pump are obtained by using the CFD software. The results show that the load capacity of the square plate holder with grooves is slightly higher at a low gap thickness, but the effects of the number and arrangement of grooves on the load capacity of the holder are weak. We conclude that the load capacity and the maximum pressure are slightly affected due to the existence of grooves on the holder surface, and the fluid storing effect of the holder surface grooves during the operation is likely to prevent the dry-sticking phenomenon.

절삭가공이 알루미늄 경질 아노다이징 피막에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Machining on Hard Anodizing Surface of Aluminum)

  • The Al3003 aluminum plate was cut by grinding, milling, sawing, and shearing, and the hard-anodizing surface of the material was investigated. Large burrs were formed during grinding and milling. The brittle anodized film split and migrated along the deformed aluminum surface. During shearing, the hard-anodized film on the blade entry surface cracks and slides along the deforming aluminum. The cutting heat increased the ductility of the aluminum and further promoted burr formation. The oil-based coolant suppressed burrs and prevented chips from sticking to the endmill. It is better to avoid the high cutting speed and slow material feed rate conditions, which increase the cutting temperature and burr in the band saw.

유전자 검색을 위한 DNA 칩 제작용 microarrayer의 개발 (Development of microarrayer for manufacturing DNA chip used in genome project)

  • 외국의 경우 게놈 연구 및 바이오산업에 DNA 칩을 제작할 수 있는 로봇 시스템을 싼 가격에 사용하고 있으나 우리나라의 경우 자동화 시스템을 비싼 가격에 외국에서 도입하여 사용하기 때문에 바이오산업 및 연구 분야에서의 생산비를 높이게 돼 국내외적으로 생명공학의 경쟁력을 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 유전체 연구에 필수적인 DNA 칩 제작을 위한 연구용 pin 타입 microarrayer를 개발하였으며, 그 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 본 연구에서는 DNA칩 제작을 위한 연구용 pin 타입 microarrayer를 개발하였으며 3축 직교좌표형 로봇 본체, DNA를 묻혀 silylated 슬라이드에 점착하는 DNA 점착 헤드, 칩 및 웰 플레이트 고정부, 핀을 세척 및 건조하는 세척 및 건조장치 등으로 시스템을 구성하였다. 2. DNA 점착 헤드는 DNA 점착시 제도용 펜촉을 사용하도록 설계, 제작하였으며, 슬라이드에 DNA를 점착할 때는 핀이 일정한 힘으로 슬라이드를 누르며 점착할 수 있도록 자석의 반발력을 이용하였다. 3. DNA 점착 헤드 핀의 세척을 위하여 증류수 분사 및 진동 브러쉬를 이용하였으며 세척실험 결과, 핀을 1mm/s로 이동시키며 브러쉬를 통과하도록 하는 방법이 세척효과가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 핀 건조실험결과는 $8.5kg_f/cm^2$의 압축공기를 30초 동안 핀에 분사하였을 때 핀이 건조되는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 본 로봇 시스템을 이용하여 DNA를 12장의 슬라이드에 모두 점착시키기 위하여 웰 플레이트에서 핀이 DNA를 묻히는 실험을 실시한 결과, 10초 이상 핀에 DNA를 묻혔을 때 슬라이드 12장을 모두 찍는 것으로 나타났으며, 슬라이드에 핀이 1초간 접촉할 때의 DNA 스팟의 크기는 평균$280{\mu}$ 가 되는 것으로 나타났다. 최소 점 간격을 0.32mm로 설정한 후 DNA를 점착해 본 결과 최대 8,100여 점의 DNA 스팟을 한 슬라이드에 점착할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 본 로봇 시스템은 12장의 동일 DNA 칩을 생성하기 위해 핀의 세척, 건조, DNA를 묻히는 과정 및 DNA 점착 등의 한 과정을 2분 50초 동안 수행할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Generally, ships have marks of various shapes on outside of the hull. Among them, so called "Draft Mark" indicates the distance from the bottom of the keel to the waterline. Draft marks are used to determine the displacement and other properties of the ship for stability and control purposes. These marks are made up of welding bead or sticking the steel plate on outside of the hull. To improve the confidence level of the ship owner, quality and accuracy of the draft mark is very important. So the automatic mark welding robot is used to enable a high quality and accurate manufacturing line. To improve the system portability, the system is divided into two distinct parts, namely mechanical part and control part. Mechanical part is robust, a lightweight, and easy to dismantle. The control part consists of an in-house developed controller, which is based on embedded Linux. Also, the control part consists of power line communication module to ensure the applicability of the controller in manufacturing line. In this paper, the methodologies of control and configuration of the robot are discussed.
