EPS 감속 모터 개발 (The Development of Decelerating Motor of Electronic Power Steering)

  • 본 연구는 호빙 가공공정 없이 워엄 휠 기어 형상을 만들기 위한 워엄 휠의 개발을 위한 제품을 만드는 것이다. 호빙 가공 공정이 없기 때문에, 증가된 생산성과 등가의 품질을 가지는 플라스틱 워엄 휠이 결국 만들어지게 된다. 그 결과, 이 제품은 현대 모비스, 만도, TRW, KOYO/NSK/Showa(Japan), Delphai(Amercia)에 판매 될 것이다. 핵심 기술 및 전략은 다음과 같다. 워엄 휠의 성형을 위한 기술 보호는 최근 "헬리컬 기어(No. 10-2008-0105908) 성형"이 특허 공정으로 되어 있다. 나아가, "보스 삽입을 위한 위치 결정을 위한 성형 시스템"을 위한 특허 절차가 준비 중이다. 기어 기계가공 절차 없이 호빙 머신에 기어 성형 절차로서, 무엇보다 먼저, 기어를 만드는 코어 개발 기술이 주된 주제이다. 따라서, 코어 및 성형 기초가 초기 순서로 개발되지 않아서, 현재 개발되는 워엄 휠의 경우, 기어는 이차적으로 호빙 M/C로 기계가공 된다. 최종적으로는, 성형 기초 구조체를 위한 특허가 본 연구결과로 만들어질 예정이다.

다방향파중에서의 선박 자동조타 시스템의 평가 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of Automatic Steering of Ships in Multi-directional Waves)

  • When an automatic course-keeping is concerned , as is quite popular in modern navigation, the closed-loop steering system consists of autopilot device, power unit(or telemotor unit), steering gear, magnetic or gyro compass and ship dynamics. In order to estimate steering system of ship in open seas, we need to know the characteristics of each component of the system and also to know the characteristics of disturbance to ship dynamics. Calculation methods of irrgular disturbances are based on the linear superposition principle. In this paper, for the purpose of evaluation of automatic steering of ships , the influences of linear control constants of autopilot on propulsive energy loss are investigated bya performance index is introduced from the viewpoint of energy saving. Numberical calculations are carried out for an are carrier and for a fishing boat in multi-directional waves.

자동차 파워스티어링용 유압호스의 맥동감쇠특성

  • A reinforced hydraulic hoses,caiied a resonator hoses,with fixible metal tube are commonly used in automotive power steering hydraulic systems to attenuate and eliminate the objectionable fluid borne noise(pressure ripple) or vibration produced by a pump or steering gear. To achieve better nose attenuation in automotile vehicles, the investigations on propagation and attenuation characteristics of fluid borne pressure ripple in power steering hydraulic ciruit are required. So, this paper descibes a mathematical model of hydraulic hoses to support design the power steering hydraulic circuit and analyze the attenuation characteristics of flow and pressure ripples. The model is based on the transfer matrix approach. The experimental results show that the pulsation attenuation characteristics of hydraulic house is remarkably affected by the flexible metal tube inserted coaxially inside a hydraulic hose with a finite length as well as viscoelastic properties of house wall. It is also shown that the predicted results bymodel proposed here agree well with the measured results over a wide frequency range. These results will assist in the modeling and design of hydraulic hoses, and hear, should provide a means for designing a quieter automotive power steering hydraulic systems.

  • The working tactor of this study, an agriculture machine, is consisted of 4 wheel driving system with gear trains and 4-type wheel steering system. Since technological regions for 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system are some large, we divide on two studies on 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system This study develops transmission and axle that are very important units for strong working operation because the power of tractor is largely affected by transmission and axle. Even if the development of the power train is some common technology, it is very complicated work and needs many experience know-hows. So, for new given specifications fitted to the working tractor, a kind of new agriculture machine, this study haws out processes that are development of assembly drawing and strength analysis through classical method and CAE software for all internal parts and housing cases.

  • EPS(Electric Power Steering) system, which has replaced the hydraulic steering system(HPS or HPAS) in many passenger cars recently, have many merits such as low energy consumption, easy mounting, light weight and improvement of environmental pollution. However, EPS system has the problem of motor noise when motor is rotated, which can make a driver feel uncomfortable. There are many techniques to solve those problems, but they are not clear. It is necessary to evaluate the mechanical noise in steering systems, because an EPS has vibration sources such as at the motor gear reducer, manual gears and intermediate joints. In this paper, reduction technique of EPS motor noise is introduced.

  • When a ship is course-keeping in the open seas, autopilot system is adapted. The design of autopilot system is very important for improvement of ship′s element research. Automatic steering system consists of autopilot device, power unit, steering gear, magnetic or gyro compass and ship dynamics. In order to evaluate automatic steering system of ships in open seas. we need to know the characteristics of each component of the system, and also to know the characteristics of disturbance to ship dynamics. In this paper, I provide evaluation method of autopilot navigation system of the fishing ship. Prediction method based on the principle of linear superposition is introduced for irregular disturbance. For the evaluation of automatic steering system of a ship, "performance index" is introduced from the viewpoint of energy saving and calculation method is frequency response analysis. Finally, I carried out calculation of sensitivity of control constants of autopilot with various conditions of ocean environments.

실차 실험을 통한 운전자 조향 모델의 검증 (Validation of Driver Steering Model with Vehicle Test)

  • In this paper, validation of Driver Steering Model has been conducted. The comparison between the simulation model and vehicle test results shows that the model is very feasible for describing combined human driver and actual vehicle dynamic behaviors. The 3D vehicle model is consisted of 6-DOF sprung mass and 4-quarter car model for vehicle body dynamics. Powertrain model including differential gear and Pacejka tire model are applied. The driver steering model is also validated with vehicle test result. The driver steering model is based on angle and displacement error from the desired path, recognized by driver.

  • When an automatic course-keeping is introduced as is quite popular in modern navigation the closed-loop steering system consists of autopilot device power unit(or telemotor unit) steering gear ship dynamics and magnetic or gyro compass. We derive the mathematical model of each element of the automatic steering system. We provide a method of theoretical analysis on propulsive energy loss related to automatic steering of ships inthe open seas taking account of the on-off mechanism of power unit. Also we paid attention to dead band mechanism of autopilot device which is normally called weather adjustment. Next we make numerical calculation of the effects of autopilot control constants ont he propulsive energy loss for two kinds of ship a fishing boat and an ore carrier. Realistic sea and wind disturbances are employed in the calculation.

  • 자동차 man-machine system의 interface를 이루는 Display panel, Center fascia, Steering wheel, Rear view, Gear, Power window switch, Seat 등과 이들의 Layout은 운전자의 안전뿐만 아니라, 안락감과 밀접한 부분으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 이러한 설계요소들의 Man-machine interface의 최적화를 위한 인간공학적 접근이 필요하다. 운전자의 안락감은 Seat, Pedal, Steering wheel 등 뿐만 아니라 각종 조작장치(Audio, Switch, Gear,…)도 함께 연구되어야 하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 실험용 Seating buck을 제작하여 실내 조작장치 중 오디오를 대상으로 터치스크린과 Rapid Prototype을 이용해 사용성 평가에 대한 적합성을 검증하고자 하였다. Rapid Prototyping 기법은 디자인단계에서 제품 사용상의 문제점을 발견 개선할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그러나, 본 연구 결과에서 3가지 항목 중 1가지만이 실제 Audio와 Prototype에서 차이가 없었다. 따라서, Prototype의 접촉감과 입체감의 개선, 실사용과 동일한 환경의 제시, 소리와 같은 정확한 반응의 제시, Glare의 제거, 사용자 분석에 따른 실험 데이터의 축적 등을 고려하여 Rapid Prototyping을 구현하여야 할 것이다.

  • EHPS는 탈엔진형 조향기술로 BLDC 모터를 통해 유압펌프를 작동시켜 조향력을 보조하는 동력 조향장치이다. EHPS는 BLDC 모터, 기어펌프 및 유압회로, 파워 스티어링 등으로 이루어진 전기전자, 유압 및 기계시스템의 복합적 시스템으로 모델링이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 EHPS 시스템의 구성 부품을 수학적 모델링 하였고, AMESim을 이용하여 multi-domain 시스템의 시뮬레이션 모델을 구축하였다. 이를 활용한 다양한 시뮬레이션을 통해 개발 초기단계에서의 시행착오를 줄이고 완성도 높은 EHPS 개발 업무를 수행하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
