Microstep방식을 이용한 영구자석 여자 횡축형 선형 전동기의 위치제어에 관한 연구 (A study on the PM Excited Transverse Flux Linear Motor Position control by using the microstep method)

  • In this paper, an PM Excited TFLM controller using Microprocessor was implement and the microstep method to control the PM Excited TFLM. In microstep method, current waveform is sinusoidal not square. This method is characterized by less vibrating, less noisy, and more precise position control. Also, we simulate the static characteristics for each waveform. The current tracks reference sinusoidal waveform well and stability was improved as we expected. Therefore, the possibility of the microstep method position control was propose.

  • In this paper, an LPM controller using microprocessor was implemented and adopted Microstep method to control the LPW. In Microstep method, current waveform is sinusoidal not square. This method is characterized by less vibrating, less noisy, and more precise position control. Also, we simulate the static thrust characteristics for each waveform. The experiment was performed according to the mechanical vibration at the acceleration mode and slewing mode. The current tracks reference sinusoidal waveform well and stability was improved as we expected. Therefore, the possibility of the open loop position control was proposed.

  • In general, the Least Square Error method is used for signal classification to measure distance in the $l^2$ metric or the $L^2$ metric space. A defect of the Least Square Error method is that it does not classify properly some waveforms, which is due to the property of the Least Square Error method: the global analysis. This paper proposes a new linear operator, the Integra-Normalizer, that removes the problem. The Integra-Normalizer possesses excellent property that measures the degree of relative similarity between signals by expanding the functional space with removing the restriction on the functional space inherited by the Least Square Error method. The Integra-Normalizer shows superiority to the Least Square Error method in measuring the relative similarity among one dimensional waveforms.

  • Generally, LPF(low pass filter) circuits are used for converting square wave to average value, but these are not used necessary for average value of square wave in real time because of time constant of LPF. This paper deals with acquiring method for average value of square wave in real tine in case of frequency of output voltage is fixed, waveform of output voltage is square wave and duty of output voltage is varied like as 1 quadrant or 4 quadrant chopper.

AC PDP에서의 대폭소거방식을 이용한 선택적 초기화 파형 (Selective Reset Waveform using Wide Square Erase Pulse in an ac PDP)

  • In this paper, we propose a newly developed selective reset waveform of a ac PDP using the wide erase pulse technique with the control of address bias voltage. Although it is generally understood that the wide pulse erasing methode shows the narrow driving margin in an opposite discharge type ac PDP, we could obtain a moderate driving margin in a 3-electrode surface discharge type ac PDP. The obtained driving margin shows a strong dependency on the sustain voltage and the address bias voltage. The lower the sustain and the address bias voltage, the wider the driving margin. The pulse width of the proposed waveform is only $10{\mu}s$, which gives additional time to the sustain period, hence increases the brightness. The brightness and contrast ratio increase about 20% together comparing to the conventional ramp type selective reset waveform with the driving scheme of 10 subfield ADS method. The driving margin was measured with the line by line addressed pattern on the white test panel of 2inch diagonal size and the discharge gas was Ne+Xe4%, 400torr.

  • Conventionally in pulsed gas metal arc welding (GMAW-P), drop transfer is analyzed with simplest square pulse waveform. While the pulse current is described by four parameters (peak current magnitude and time plus base current magnitude and time), it deviates the real pulse shape. Real pulse can be better idealized by the trapezoidal pulse waveform described by two additional parameters, i.e., current rise and fall rate (dI/dt). Power source response rate is described by these parameters. In this work, the effect of these parameters on drop transfer is predicted by the force displacement model (FDM). While peak current has significant effects on drop detachment, drop transfer is also influenced by the current rise rate. Predictions indicate that the current rise rate can have considerable effects on the size of the detached drop if other pulse parameters are kept constant. FDM is applied to determine peak time for one drop one pulse condition (ODOP) when rests of the pulse parameters are given. The predicted range of ODOP shows good agreement with experimental data.

  • This paper deals with the analysis on eddy current losses for cylindrical linear oscillatory actuator (LOA) with Halbach array mover according to voltage waveform. This paper presents analytical procedures for calculation of eddy current losses using Poynting theorem. On the basis of the magnetic vector potential and a two-dimensional (2-d) cylindrical coordinate system, this paper derived analytical solutions of eddy current tosses using phase current analysis. The eddy current losses of each harmonic obtained by fast Fourier transform (FFT) analysis of phase current are compared with results obtained from finite-element method (FEM). Particularly, this paper shows that the eddy current losses of cylindrical LOA according to square voltage waveform are more significant than those according to sinusoidal voltage waveform.

환자고유의 호흡 패턴을 적용한 호흡 연습장치 개발 및 유용성 평가 (Development of Respiratory Training System Using Individual Characteristic Guiding Waveform)

  • 본 연구에서는 환자 고유의 호흡 패턴을 적용하여 호흡의 규칙성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 호흡 연습장치(respiratory training system)를 개발하여, 호흡에 의한 움직임이 고려된 4D-RT (4-dimension radiation therapy) 또는 4D-CT (4-dimension computed tomography) 수행 시 효율성과 정확성을 높이고자 했다. 개발한 호흡연습장치는 푸리에 급수(Fourier series)를 기반으로 환자 고유의 호흡패턴을 만들어 환자에게 편안한 호흡 유도를 제공한다. 호흡연습장치를 사용했을 때 호흡의 규칙성 향상 정도를 알아보기 위하여 5명의 지원자를 대상으로 실험을 진행하였다. 10개의 자유호흡신호를 획득하여 실험 대상자의 고유한 호흡패턴(guiding waveform)을 만들고, 자유호흡(free breathing)을 3분 동안 시행한 후, 고유한 호흡패턴을 이용하여 호흡을 유도하는 신호모니터-호흡(guide breathing)을 3분 동안 시행하여 데이터를 획득하였다. 획득된 자유호흡과 신호모니터-호흡의 데이터를 이용하여 호흡크기(displacement)와 호흡주기(period)의 변동성을 Root mean square error (RMSE)를 적용하여 정량적으로 비교 분석하였다. 호흡의 변동성을 분석한 결과 신호모니터-호흡은 자유호흡과 비교하여 호흡크기의 경우 최대 40%, 호흡주기의 경우 최대 76%까지 RMSE 값이 감소하였으며, 모든 지원자들의 데이터를 분석한 결과 평균적으로 호흡주기의 경우 RMSE 값이 55% 감소되었고, 호흡크기의 경우 33% 감소하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 호흡연습장치는 실험대상자의 고유한 호흡패턴을 이용하여 규칙적인 호흡을 유도했기 때문에 피실험자는 큰 노력 없이도 신호모니터-호흡을 따라 할 수 있었다. 따라서 규칙적인 호흡을 오랜 시간 지속시킬 수 있다는 측면에서 장점을 가질 수 있으며, 4D RT, 4D CT를 시행 할 경우 규칙적인 호흡을 통해 효율성과 정확성을 향상 시킬 수 있다.

입력파형에 따른 PZT 바이몰프 진동자의 출력특성 (The output characteristics of the input waveform to the PZT bimorph vibrator)

  • The aim of this study is to research maximum harvesting energy by the optimal input wave condition. The voltage characteristics of the PZT bimorph were investigated in terms of the sine wave, triangle wave and square wave according to frequency range 0~70Hz. It was found that the square wave compared with a triangular wave or square wave was showed the higher output energy. PZT bimorph was mechanically vibrated by solenoid coil experiments, which revealed two voltage peak mode according to frequency. Maximum voltage at second vibration frequency 28Hz demonstrated that the generated DC voltage was proportional to the tip displacement of the bimorph and the phase difference between the input frequency and bimorph vibration frequency was 90 degree. It was expected that optimized design to harvest a much higher energy level from lower frequency vibrations.

  • This paper proposes a new design of the ECG simulator with high resolution by using small amount of memories based on discrete least square estimation equations instead of reading the stored data inside the look-up table. The experimental results have shown that the ECG simulator using discrete least square estimation equations can display the bipolar limb leads ECG signals with low PRD (percent root-mean-square difference) while taking the less amount of memories than the previous method which used the look-up table to store ECG data for ECG simulation.
