개원의의 대도시 개원 이유 : 대구시 개원의를 중심으로 (Medical Practitioners' Reasons for Practice in Great Gity(Taegu))

  • During the month of October, 1990, 676 practicing physicians in Taegu City were surveyed by mail questionnaires about their general characteristics and the reasons why they chose Taegu as a practice location and 331 out of them responded completely. Collected data were analyzed to provide basic reference data for future health manpower policy which intends to solve the problem of geographical maldistribution of physicians, The major findings are as follows: For the question asking why Taegu area is favored, following lists are as the order of their magnitude of the reasons replied by more than 20% of the respondents: 1) Taegu is a foundation of life until now(81.3%) 2) Better educational environments are available for their offsprings(73.7%) 3) They can have intimate relationship with acquaintances or friends sharing same or similar interests(61.0%) 4) Due to characteristics of their specialty, metropolitan seems to fit better(52.0%), 5) They graduated from the medical school in Taegu(49.8%) 6) Never thought of selecting practice location in other area than Taegu without any specific reasons(45.9%) 7) Intelligent communications are available with other physicians(39.9%) 8) More opportunities to participate in social life, such as medical, or alumni association etc., can be given(33.2%) 9) No specific knowledge or relationships with other area are available(32.6%) 10) They finished internship or residency training in Taegu area(31.4%) 11) Facilitation of transferring patients including emergent patients can be obtained (30.8%) 12) Continuing medical educational programs are available(29.9%) 13) Sufficient medical demands are provided because of the large population(28.1%) 14) More chances to be grown up as a medical professionals can be achieved(25.7%) 15) More leizure time can be utilized for cultural activities(23.9%) 16) They had experiences to work in hospitals or facilities in Taegu area(23.3%) 17) Medical facilities of fellow physicians or alumni can be used(20.5%) In addition, 37% of female physicians answered that their spouse strongly influenced them to choose Taegu, and 33.3% of physicians with age of thirty replied that parents did so. Physicians of specialty in radiology, clinical pathology, anatomical pathology, and anesthesiology considered that patients from other hospitals and medical facilities would be referred often to them and that less competition seemed to be expected in their specialty (30.8%). In contrast, general practitioners anticipated that larger population would increase the medical demand(62.5%). 28.6% of medical practitioners who graduated medical schools in other are than Taegu and 22.0% of medical practitioners who were trained in hospitals of other area than Taegu were influenced to choose Taegu by their spouses. In consideration of above findings, we may conclude that long term and rational manpower policies should be implemented to solve the problem of geographical maldistribution of physicians as well as short term physician-inducing policies, and they have to be incorporated with equitable community development.

  • Even though the automation of industrial machinery has dramatically increased, most industries still require human hands for the production of goods. Our hands are essential to our existence. For this reason, hand injuries caused by industrial accidents have become an important issue lately. Most hand injuries are external wounds and constitute 38.6% of disabling industrial accidents. This significant statistic cannot be ignored by rehabilitation programs. The rate of success in operations of finger and hand injuries has increased, but relatively less consideration has been given to physical therapy, rehabilitation, research, or systematic installment in terms of welfare, which would help the injured carry on the nominal life they lived before their injury. Therefore, it is necessary to study systematically all related aspects to provide patients with physical therapy, rehabilitation, and social welfare, in order to restore their social, professional, and economical capabilities. Physical considerations, functional usability, and cosmetic restoration, as well as the patients' mental state must be addressed. The results of the study shows several problems. Medical appliances, manpower, and the environment of the treatment rooms are very poor. The patients cannot receive treatment early enough nor enough treatment because of too many patients for too few physical therapists. Close cooperation between physical therapists and doctors, nurses, or related departments is lacking. Furthermore, it is irrational that industrial accident premiums for the exert; e treatment of hand injury patients are not itemized. Lack of recognition of the importance of specialty in hand injury therapists leads to the lack of professionalization of systematic hand injury treatment In order to solve these problems, the professonalism of physical therapy should be acknowledged and particular treatment courses should be available and/or required. Based on the understanding of the hand injury patients' needs, new theories of physical therapy should be developed and modem medical appliances and facilities should be available, in order to provide the patients with qualitative medical treatment, which then will facilitate the patients' recovery.

의원개설 양상의 변동 추이 (Changes and Trends in the Newly Established Clinics in Korea)

  • After medical insurance came into effect in Korea, health care system has undergone tremendous changes. Changing patterns of newly established clinics is one of them. To investigate changes and trends, a total of 10,184 clinics which were newly established from 1981 to 1990 were analysed. Data were obtained from the file of contracting medical facilities of the Federation of Medical Insurance Societies. The proportion of newly establishied clinics has increased gradually, so that they amount to 13% of the total medical facilities in Korea. Meanwhile, the number of newly established medium-size hospitals and general hospitals have decreased. The number of newly established clinics per 100,000 populations has increased in the all areas, but the rate of increase has decreased in the cities except in 6 major cities in 1990. The rate of increase in newly established clinics surpasses that of population increase. This study has identified the trend of young physicians' early driving into their solo medical practice than before. This indicates chance of the medical specialty training nowadays toughen due to the limited openings in residency programs. However, the sex ratio of physicians at newly established clinics has not changed. The decreasing tendency to open medical practice without beds and the increasing size of clinics are found in this study(The size has been measured in terms of medical manpower, of beds, and of medical equipment in this study). Two thirds of general practitioners have opened their clinics without beds, although such trend has been less in the case of specialists. All three indicators show increasing size, especially in the case of rural clinics. However, among them, the number of medical equipments has increased most significantly from 8.9 items in 1981 to 12.9 in 1990.

코업(CO-OP) 교육을 통한 창업 활성화 방안 연구 : 현장실습연계형 대학 교육모델 개발을 중심으로 (A Study on the University Start-Up Activation Plan through CO-OP Education : Focused on Development of a University Education Model with linking Field Practices)

  • The cooperation between universities and industries is already one of the most important factors driving the national economy in the knowledge-based society of the 21st century represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Korean government has also been carrying out legal and institutional re-adjustments to promote industrial-university cooperation in line with demands for such changes in the times. However, despite this industry-academic cooperation system, there is still a significant mismatch between industrial demand and the university's workforce development system. By the way, there is a Cooperative Education(CO-OP) in Canada and the United States. It's an innovative link between the university and the industry. The reason is that the CO-OP program not only allows students to gain experience with their majors in the industrial field, but also plays a positive role in improving their specialty expertise. In particular, field information, ideas, and job insights that students acquire through CO-OP also serve as motivation for starting a business beyond employment after graduation. Furthermore, CO-OP experience is an important opportunity for future researchers to come up with commercialized research results that are not separated from the field sites The purpose of this study is to overcome the gap between industrial demand and the college manpower training system, and develop a Korean-style coaching program model as a growth engine for creative talent-building policies, represented by 'creation of start-ups and new industry.' In addition, this study suggested measures that can be applied in real universities. In addition, the study also highlighted that the introduction of CO-OP programs with field practices in Korea could also boost start-ups. Based on the Korean CO-OP program model, the curricula applicable to domestic universities consisted of two types : general and research-oriented university types.

엔터프라이즈 아키텍쳐(ITA/EA)도입에 따른 정책 표준화를 통한 성공적 요인에 관한 연구 (Research on Success Factors of Enterprise Architecture(ITA/EA) through Policy Standardization)

  • 지식 정보화 시대가 도래하게 되면서 IT산업의 효율적인 관리 방안 및 이에 따른 정보 가치의 중요성과 상호 운영의 중요성이 과거 어느 때보다 높아지고 있다. 따라서 정보 기술을 체계적으로 계획하고 관리하는 ITA/EA가 2005년 법률로 제정 공포 시행되어 새로운 IT관리 방법론으로 인지되고 있으나 ITA와 EA의 새로운 표준화에 대한 논의는 미비한 게 현실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 EA/ITA가 정보기술에 성공적으로 적용 활용될 수 있는 요인을 찾는 것이 가장 시급한 문제라고 판단하여 그에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 '용어 및 업무의 표준화', '인력양성의 표준화'를 통해 전문 인력 양성 시스템의 체계화 및 자격 제도신설의 필요성을 강조하고, ITA와 EA의 개념이 혼용되어 발생하는 이중적 구조를 제거해야 하는 당위성을 역설하였다. 그럼으로써 ITA/EA는 IT공학으로 인정하고 전문공학 인들로 하여금 학술적 분야로 수용할 수 있도록 국내 표준화를 위한 새로운 모델을 제시하였다. 종합적으로, ITH/EA를 통해 정보 관리의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 요인들에 대해 제언하고자 했다.

  • 오늘날 행정, 금융 등의 일상 업무가 정보시스템 기반으로 운영되고, 국가‧공공‧민간기관 등을 대상으로 다양한 사이버 침해가 발생됨에 따라 기술적인 보안 대책뿐만 아니라 정보보호 전문 인력에 대한 사회적 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이에 교육부에서는 정보보호 우수 인재를 조기에 발굴하여 정보보호 전문성과 윤리의식을 겸비한 전문 인력을 양성하고자 2014년에 전국 4개 대학에 정보보호영재교육원을 설치하였다. 그러나 이미 오랫동안 운영되어 많은 연구가 이루어진 수학영재나 과학영재교육원에 비해 초기 운영단계인 정보보호영재교육원은 아직까지 체계적인 분석이나 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 전국 4권역 정보보호영재교육원의 현황을 운영, 선발, 교육 3분야로 나눠 분석하여 현재 운영체계의 부족한 부분을 도출하고 이를 토대로 향후 정보보호영재교육원이 효과적인 운영 및 인력양성을 위한 실질적인 프로그램을 구축할 수 있도록 개선방안을 제안한다.

소프트웨어 개발 인재 양성을 위한 부트캠프 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Bootcamp Program for Software Developer)

  • 소프트웨어 개발 인력의 필요성이 높아지면서, 다양한 교육 프로그램들이 등장하고 있으며, 그 중 신병캠프를 의미하는 부트캠프(bootcamp) 스타일의 교육 프로그램의 인기가 두드러지고 있다. 하지만 기존의 소프트웨어 개발 교육 프로그램들과는 운영 방식이나 형태가 완전히 다름에도 불구하고, 교육 프로그램으로써 부트캠프를 분석한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 부트캠프형 소프트웨어 개발자 교육에 대한 사례 연구를 통해 해당 교육 프로그램의 주요 요소를 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 A사의 부트캠프 프로그램 X의 수료자 7명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행한 뒤, 부트캠프형 교육의 7가지 특징을 도출하였다. 집중 이론 교육, 성장과 성취감, 팀 프로젝트 기반 학습, 커뮤니티 특성, 집단 압력, 피로도와 압박감, 비대면 특수성. 도출한 특징을 바탕으로 부트캠프형 교육의 장점과 개선점에 대해 기술하고, 부트캠프형 소프트웨어 개발자 교육이 나아갈 방향에 대해 논하였다.

해외농업투자에 따른 유통체계 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the improvement of distribution system by overseas agricultural investment)

  • 세계경제 및 환경의 변화에 따라 농산물의 불안정적인 수급으로 인한 문제점이 노출되고 있으며, 우리나라의 경우 농산물의 안정적인 확보를 위하여 국가 전략적 차원에서의 해외농업투자의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 정부차원의 지원 미진, 해외 농업에 대한 정보 및 기술 미비, 개발자금 확보의 어려움, 장기간의 투자금 회수기간, 사후관리 미흡 등의 이유로 성과를 이루지 못하고 있는 실정이며, 특히 해외 농산물의 국내 반입 시 관세의 장벽, 물류 유통비용 등으로 가격 경쟁력이 떨어지고 있어 국내에 반입되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 해외농업투자의 기본개념 및 실태를 살펴보고 해외농업투자의 필요성과 고려사항, 문제점 등을 도출하여 해외에서 재배된 농산물의 경쟁력을 위한 유통 측면에서의 개선방안을 정부의 간접적인 지원, 유통 현대화 및 유통정보기능 강화, 유통시설, 수송루트, 하역업무개선, 경쟁력 확보를 위한 정부의 정책적 지원, 교육 훈련을 통한 전문인력 양성 등 다섯 가지 측면에서 제시하였다.

한방건강증진HUB보건소사업 실태분석 (An Analysis on Actual Condition of Health Promotion Program through Oriental Medicine in Health Center)

  • This study was carried out to examine the actual condition of health promotion program through oriental medicine in the health center and to provide basic data to develop proper policy of oriental medical health promotion program for the community people. The data were collected from 26 health centers which have been implementing the oriental medical health promotion program, using selfadministered questionnaire for two weeks from 1 October to 15 October 2006. The results are as follows : Generally, the respondents have the positive views on the level of budget and facilities/equipments of the oriental medical health promotion program in health center. However, they have the negative views on the level of manpower and education/training of the program. And also more than 70% of the respondents have the negative opinion on capabilities of formulating and evaluating the oriental medical health promotion program. The respondents indicated that there was the lack of coordination between the oriental medical health promotion program and existing health promotion in health center, and that low rate of utilizing community resources. With regard to the method of selecting the target group for the program, there are differences according to the each program. Many programs tended to select the target group not through the criteria of life-course and illness group but through the efficiency of selecting group. And many programs such as stroke prevention program, constitutional medicine program, oriental medical prenatal program, oriental medical prenatal and postnatal program, oriental medical child care program are mainly composed of the development of educational program and lecture. Regarding the number of the present oriental medical health promotion programs, around 65% of respondents answered that the number of the programs was many and thus they needed to decrease to the proper level. And with regard to the priority of the need, effectiveness and the satisfaction for each programs, on the whole, Qui gong program, stroke prevention program, area-specialty program and oriental medical home visiting program have high score. In particular, oriental medical quit-smoking program has lowest score. From these results, it requires to develop and improve the oriental medical health promotion program in health center considering the need and characteristics of community.
