본 연구는 종합병원 간호사들을 대상으로 특수부서 근무 간호사(수술실, 중환자실, 응급실)와 병동 근무 간호사의 피로수준을 비교하고 그의 관련요인을 파악하기 위해 2008년 8월에 대전광역시에 소재하고 있는 400병상 이상의 3개 종합병원에 근무하는 여성 간호사 393명을 대상으로 자기기입식설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 평균 피로점수는 특수부서 근무 간호사가 병동 근무 간호사보다 높았다. 다중회귀분석결과 피로수준에 영향을 미치는 관련 요인으로는 특수부서 근무 간호사의 경우 주관적 건강 상태, 연령, 간호직 생활에 대한 만족도가 주요 설명변수로 선정되었으며, 병동 근무자의 경우는 주관적 건강 상태, 평소 수면 시간, 교대 근무, 간호직 생활에 대한 만족도가 주요설명변수로 선정되었다. 위와 같은 결과를 볼 때, 특수부서 근무 간호사는 병동근무간호사에 비해 피로수준이 높은 것을 알 수 있으며, 특수부서 근무간호사와 병동 근무간호사의 피로에 영향을 미치는 관련 요인에도 차이가 있음을 알 수 있다.

No educational provision for the gifted and talented works in a cultural vacuum, and this is as true for out-of-school activities as for what happens in school itself. There is evidence that excellence in children's achievements can come from widely differing special provision or from no special provision at all. Cultural influences affect attitudes as to who might be gifted and talented and what might be done for them. Whatever the size and influence of special centres anywhere, there is always overlap between in-school and out-of-school activities. For all styles of provision, cooperation between the two is a vital aspect of success. The major cultural dichotomy in this field is between the perception, usually found in the Far East that 'most children have gifted potential' and the largely Western view that 'few children have gifted potential'. It is safe to say that children who are selected for aptitude and ability, and who are keen to learn, will get more from special enrichment than those who of equal potential who have not had that experience. But this does not necessarily show the provision as the best possible method for enhancing gifts and talents. In fact, I do not know of a single scientific investigation, either cross-culturally or within one country, which compares any aspect of an out-of-school programme with another. As a result it is hard to say what type of provision would be most appropriate and effective in any given situation. Outcomes are also dependent on the enthusiasm, organisation and money put into any scheme - as well as the way youngsters are chosen for it. Some of the largest and most influential out-of-school American institutions were founded on the psychological understanding of human abilities that was current in the 1920s. These early influences of seeking an IQ cut-off point (or equivalent) to identify the gifted still affect their practice. in addition, the big American Talent Searches so often select youngsters for summer-schools not only by their high-level achievements, but also by their parent's ability to pay the sometimes high fees. Opinions about the identification of the brightest children and consequential educational practice underlie all provision for their education, whether in or outside school hours. Because of cross-cultural differences, it would not seem wise to copy any action directly from one culture to another without recognising these influences and possibly modifying the model. The growing trend around the world is to offer high-level opportunities to as many youngsters as possible, so that no keen learner is turned away without even a change of sampling them.

최근 VR 기술이 점차 발전하면서 다양한 가상현실 게임이 상업화되고 있다. 특히 사용자들에게 인기 있는 다양한 대형 3D 온라인 게임들이 VR 게임으로 변화하기 시작했다. 은 대형 3D 웹캐스트 의 파생 게임으로서, 2018년 4월 Steam 게임 플랫폼에 발표되었고, 독창적인 UI 디자인으로 사용자의 몰입식 체험을 극대화하여 VR 게임 선두 자리를 굳건히 지키고 있다. 과 게임의 시각적 유사성이 높지만, UI에서 나타나는 시각 요소에는 큰 차이를 보이고 있다. 본 논문은 게임에서 몰입감을 높이기 위한 캐릭터, 장면, UI Design, 색상 및 폰트의 시각적 UI 요소에 대해 연구하였으며, 향후 신형 VR 게임의 몰입식 체험을 위한 독창적인 인터페이스 디자인에 대하여 연구하였다.

장애학생을 위한 다양한 디지털 활용 교육 콘텐츠가 확산되고 있는 추세 속에서 스마트교육을 위한 교수지원체계와 장애 유형별 특성을 고려한 활용 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지체장애 특수학교 사례를 중심으로 디지털콘텐츠를 활용한 수업을 분석하여 교수학습 콘텐츠의 현장 적용방안과 지원체계의 개선방안을 제안하였다. 서울의 한 특수학교 수업 사례를 목적표집하여 수업동영상 자료, 수업성찰지, 교사대상 심층면담의 방법으로 분석을 실시하였다. 사례 분석 결과를 토대로 지체장애 학생의 특성을 반영하여 특수교육현장에서 디지털 콘텐츠가 효과적으로 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

The North Korean education system pharmacists and pharmacist review and analysis test system for the future reunification of Korea oriented education system pharmacists and pharmacists in health care personnel office systems through correct understanding and awareness-will be a useful resource integration plan designed to pharmacists.

This study analyzed the status and causes for the dropouts of college based on the survey conducted among 14,210 freshmen attending D College, other than the supernumerary special selection, from 2001 through 2005. A significant difference was shown in all items of general characteristics. The dropout rate of women, generally selected and general high school graduated were higher than for men, specially selected and special high school graduated, respectively. The most dropouts were due to Not Return(40.16%), followed by Unenrolled(32.98%), Voluntary Leave(26.05%) and Expelled(0.81%) in order. In the distribution of the central tendency values measured from the entire subjects. the high school records and the days of absence showed a positive skewness. while the college records showed a negative skewness with the data mostly around a higher grade. The standard deviation indicating that the dropouts got the scores higher than those of the continuing students demonstrated that there was relatively insignificant difference in scores between two groups.

A network processor (NP) is an application-specific instruction-set processor for fast and efficient packet processing. There are many issues in compiler's code generation and optimization due to NP's hardware constraints and special hardware support. In this paper, we describe in detail how to resolve the issues. Our compiler was developed on LLVM 3.0 and the NP target was our in-house network processor which consists of 32 64-bit RISC processors and supports multi-context with special hardware structures. Our compiler incurs only 9.36% code size overhead over hand-written code while satisfying QoS, and the generated code was tested on a real packet processing hardware, called S20 for code verification and performance evaluation.

A pseudo-Riemannian solvmanifold is a solvable Lie group endowed with a left invariant pseudo-Riemannian metric. In this short note, we investigate the nilpotency of the Ricci operator of pseudo-Riemannian solvmanifolds. We focus on a special class of solvable Lie groups whose Lie algebras can be expressed as a one-dimensional extension of a nilpotent Lie algebra ℝD⋉n, where D is a derivation of n whose restriction to the center of n has at least one real eigenvalue. The main result asserts that every solvable Lie group belonging to this special class admits a left invariant pseudo-Riemannian metric with nilpotent Ricci operator. As an application, we obtain a complete classification of three-dimensional solvable Lie groups which admit a left invariant pseudo-Riemannian metric with nilpotent Ricci operator.

In this paper, we formally introduce the notion of a general parametric digamma function Ψ(−s; A, a) and we find the Laurent expansion of Ψ(−s; A, a) at the integers and poles. Considering the contour integrations involving Ψ(−s; A, a), we present some new identities for infinite series involving Dirichlet type parametric harmonic numbers by using the method of residue computation. Then applying these formulas obtained, we establish some explicit relations of parametric linear Euler sums and some special functions (e.g. trigonometric functions, digamma functions, Hurwitz zeta functions etc.). Moreover, some illustrative special cases as well as immediate consequences of the main results are also considered.

This editorial on 'Smart Services and Internet of Things (IoT)' focuses on the topics related to the applications of IoT to consumer products and services, which have become 'smarter' thanks to IoT. This special issue explores, in different ways, the phenomena of smart services and the role of IoT in business innovation across different contexts such as product-service system, car auction, tourism industry, communicating platform, online travel agency, self-service retail, and bike sharing. We hope that this special issue will provide a significant step forward in enabling researchers and practitioners to understand smart services and IoT.
