도동서원(道東書院)의 배치형태(配置形態)와 공간구성에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Building Layout and Space Composition of Dodong-Seowon)

  • Most of the recent studies on Seowon have been done just in terms of classification of general kinds of building layout, so there are a few things ignored such as the way they were arranged, the compositional process of buildings etc.. Although the classification of types itself is meaningful in the study on Korean traditional architecture, there has been some limitation in deep analysis of each style. The aim of this study is to find out the characteristics of the building layout and space composition of Dodong-Seowon with the viewpoint of the process of changes of it during the time through the survey and analysis on both the existing site layout and the measuring unite of scale applied to the original construction of each building. Hierarchical order scheme was considered in the design of the space proceeding from the entrance to the main space and of the building position, axis and the roof heights of buildings.

Interactive Experience Room Using Infrared Sensors and User's Poses

  • A virtual reality is a virtual space constructed by a computer that provides users the opportunity to indirectly experience a situation they have not experienced in real life through the realization of information for virtual environments. Various studies have been conducted to realize virtual reality, in which the user interface is a major factor in maximizing the sense of immersion and usability. However, most existing methods have disadvantages, such as costliness or being limited to the physical activity of the user due to the use of special devices attached to the user's body. This paper proposes a new type of interface that enables the user to apply their intentions and actions to the virtual space directly without special devices, and test content is introduced using the new system. Users can interact with the virtual space by throwing an object in the space; to do this, moving object detectors are produced using infrared sensors. In addition, the users can control the virtual space with their own postures. The method can heighten interest and concentration, increasing the sense of reality and immersion and maximizing user's physical experiences.

  • 소규모 가구 증가로 인하여 홈퍼니싱에 대한 관심이 집중되면서 이를 위한 가상의 시뮬레이션 시스템의 필요성이 증대되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 기존의 가상 시뮬레이션 시스템들의 경우 가상의 공간에서 가상의 객체를 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하기 때문에 정확한 시뮬레이션 결과를 도출할 수 없으며 증강현실을 이용한 시뮬레이션의 경우 현실 공간의 대한 정보가 포함되지 않아 증강되는 객체가 공간의 부정합을 발생시키는 문제가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 현실 공간의 특징 좌표를 이용하여 객체를 정합하는 과정에서 이를 변형하여 증강시켜 홈퍼니싱 시뮬레이션을 수행하는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 수많은 공간지각 연구 결과, Euclidean 3-D 구조는 양안 입체시, 움직임, 입체시와 움직임의 결합, 또는 여러 광학 정보의 결합으로도 복구될 수 없다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 그러나 인간은 이러한 부정확한 공간지각에도 불구하고 특정 과제를 수행하는 데는 어려움이 전혀 없다. 우리는 인공지능과 컴퓨터 비전에 인간의 기술과 능력을 적용해 왔지만 이러한 기계들은 여전히 인간의 능력보다 훨씬 뒤떨어져 있다. 따라서 우리는 인간이 공간의 깊이를 어떻게 지각하는지, 과제를 수행하기 위해 어떠한 정보들을 사용하여 3차원 공간을 정확하게 지각하는지 이해해야 한다. 이 논문의 목적은 미래에 더욱 발전된 인공지능 로봇에 인간의 능력을 적용하기 위해 공간지각 문헌을 검토하는 것이다.

심층신경망 기반 우주파편 영상 추적시스템 인식모델에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Deep Neural Network based Recognition Model for Space Debris Vision Tracking System)

  • 지속적으로 우주파편이 증가하고 있는 상황에서 국가 우주자산을 안전하게 보호하고 우주개발국으로서 우주환경 보호에 관심을 가지는 것은 중요하다. 우주파편의 급격한 증가를 막기 위한 효과적인 방법 중 하나는 충돌위험이 큰 우주파편들, 그리고 임무가 종료된 폐기위성을 직접 제거해 나가는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 영상기반 우주파편 추적시스템의 안정적인 인식모델을 위해 인공신경망을 적용한 연구에 대해 다루었다. 한국항공우주연구원에서 개발한 지상기반 우주쓰레기 청소위성 테스트베드인 KARICAT을 활용하여 우주환경이 모사된 영상을 획득하였고, 깊이불연속성에 기인한 영상분할 후 각 객체에 대한 구조 및 색상 기반 특징을 부호화한 벡터를 추출하였다. 특징벡터는 3차원 표면적, 점군의 주성분 벡터, 2차원 형상정보, 색상기반 정보로 구성되어있으며, 이 범주를 기반으로 분리한 특징벡터를 입력으로 하는 인공신경망 모델을 설계하였다. 또한 인공신경망의 성능 향상을 위해 입력되는 특징벡터의 범주에 따라 모델을 분할하여 각 모델 별 학습 후 앙상블기법을 적용하였다. 적용 결과 앙상블 기법에 따른 인식 모델의 성능 향상을 확인하였다.

화장품 매장의 조명환경 실태조사 (A Survey on the Current Illumination Environment of Cosmetic Shops)

  • This study investigates the relationship between size of cosmetic shops, size of showcases, sorts and arrangement of light source, floor plan, and illuminance measured of interior space. From this result, the average space size of cosmetic shops were $623.2{\times}512.9{\times}258.1cm$(width, length, height), the average space size of showcases were $273.3{\times}53.8{\times}89.5cm$ (width, depth, height). The light source was most frequently used fluorescent lamp, and illuminance was the most highest nearby main showcase, and average illuminance were 722[Ix], uniformity were 0.3.

Actor-Critic Algorithm with Transition Cost Estimation

  • We present an approach for acceleration actor-critic algorithm for reinforcement learning with continuous action space. Actor-critic algorithm has already proved its robustness to the infinitely large action spaces in various high dimensional environments. Despite that success, the main problem of the actor-critic algorithm remains the same-speed of convergence to the optimal policy. In high dimensional state and action space, a searching for the correct action in each state takes enormously long time. Therefore, in this paper we suggest a search accelerating function that allows to leverage speed of algorithm convergence and reach optimal policy faster. In our method, we assume that actions may have their own distribution of preference, that independent on the state. Since in the beginning of learning agent act randomly in the environment, it would be more efficient if actions were taken according to the some heuristic function. We demonstrate that heuristically-accelerated actor-critic algorithm learns optimal policy faster, using Educational Process Mining dataset with records of students' course learning process and their grades.

  • When applying back panel(this material is aluminum complex panel coated with fire resistance substances) for curtain wall, solar radiation and heat storage of indoor air occurs to result in thermal warpage for back panel. The purpose of this analysis is to find out the cause of thermal warpage and come up with a solution to prevent changes of back panel and reduce elements that bring negative visual elements. Also to solve this problem analyse that case to reduce heat transfer by inserting additional material and cases to increase air space distance.

직교좌표공간에서의 스플라인을 이용한 산업용 로봇의 궤적 생성 방법 (Trajectory Planning of Industrial Robot using Spline Method in Task Space)

  • Robot usually requires spline motion to move through multiple knots. In this paper, catmull-rom spline method is applied to the trajectory planning of industrial robot in task space. Centripetal catmull-rom is selected to avoid self-intersection and slow motion which can be occurred in uniform and chordal spline. The method to set two control points are proposed to satisfy velocity conditions of initial and final knots. To optimize robot motion, time scaling method is presented to minimize margin between real robot value and maximum value in velocity and acceleration. The simulation results show that the proposed methods are applied to trajectory planning and robot can follow the planned trajectory while robot motion does not exceed maximum value of velocity and acceleration.

  • Recently, the attention to the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution has been increasing. In the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution era, the boundaries between physical space, digital space, and biological space are becoming blurred because of the active convergence between various fields. There are many issues about the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution such as artificial intelligence, Internet of things, big data, and cyber physical system. To cope with the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution, an accurate analysis and technology planning need to be undertaken from a broad point of view. However, there is little research on the analysis of the major issues about the 4th Industrial Revolution. Accordingly, this study aims to analyse these major issues. Data mining such as topic modelling method is used for this analysis. This study is expected to be helpful for the researcher and policy maker of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
