  • The groundwater level was originally above the surface at the Onyang spa area. However, it is now 98-138m depth below the surface deu to the artificial pumping from boreholes. The fluctuations of the piezometric head were observed in 4 boreholes. Transmissivity estimated from the pumping rate and the drawdown is about $577.51 m^2/day$ The transmissivity of Onyang spa area is much larger than common values of fractured aqui for the drawdown of the piezometric head by artificial pumping is widely spreaded out in that area. The drawdown related to each pumping rate was analyzed and the formula between drawdown and pumping rate was made by a regression analysis. The formula can be applied for the condition of enough groundwater flowing into the Onyang spa area

  • Sclerosing polycystic adenosis (SPA) is a rare, asymptomatic disease that occurs mainly in the salivary glands. We report the case of a 51-year-old man who presented with trismus and pain upon mouth opening. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a 2-cm mass located in the anterior portion of the left parotid gland. SPA was diagnosed based on histopathological examination of the surgical specimen. In pathologic findings, there was a well-circumscribed multicystic nodule in the parenchyma. Dense fibrosis and chronic non-specific inflammatory cells were observed in the stroma. In 13 previous reports on SPA, the most preferred treatment was superficial or total parotidectomy. This report suggests that simple excision of SPA preserves facial nerve function and facial volume.

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the differences of post-purchase satisfaction, brand loyalty, and repurchase intention of SPA clothing brand according to lifestyles, and to disclose how lifestyles, post-purchase satisfaction, and brand loyalty influence the repurchase intention. The research method was a survey method using questionnaires. The subjects were 304 female college students residing in Seoul metropolitan area. The lifestyles were classified into six factors including pursuit of challenges, proactive interpersonal relationship, interest in sports, self-centeredness, interest in IT, and achievement orientation. Three female groups were derived by cluster analysis of the 6 lifestyle factors: active-activity type, passive-activity type, and achievement-pursuit type. Brand loyalty was classified into two factors including continuing loyalty and convenient loyalty. First, the active-activity group showed higher convenient loyalty than the other groups. The achievement-pursuit group showed higher post-purchase satisfaction than the other groups in appearance of clothing, while the passive-activity group showed lower satisfaction in every factor, in particular, its price satisfaction was very low. Second, senior students showed higher continuing loyalty than freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Students with more clothing expenses showed higher continuing loyalty as well as convenient loyalty than those with less clothing expenses. Their price satisfaction with SPA clothing brand as well as repurchase intention was higher. Third, repurchase intention was influenced by brand loyalty the most, and the next in the order by satisfaction level with brand, satisfaction with price, satisfaction level with appearance, and proactive interpersonal relationship. The brand loyalty was influenced by satisfaction level with price the most, and the next by satisfaction level with appearance.

  • The symmetric key encryption algorithms, such as the AES or the ARIA, generate round keys by the key expansion mechanism. While the algorithm is executed, key expansion mechanism emits information about the secret key by the power consumption. The vulnerability exists that can reduce significantly the candidate of the secret key by the simple power analysis attack using a small number of the power traces. Therefore, we'll have to study about the attack and the countermeasure to prevent information leakage. While a simple power analysis attack on the AES key expansion has been studied since 2002, ARIA is insufficient. This paper presents a simple power analysis attack on 8-bit implementations of the ARIA-128 key expansion. The presented attack efficiently utilizes this information leakage to substantially reduce the key space that needs to be considered in a brute-force search for the secret key. We show that ARIA is vulnerable to a SPA attack based on hamming weight leakage.

  • The aim of this research is to examine the tendency of national tastes reflected in global SPA brands based on the theories of Gans' taste culture and Bourdieu's cultural capital. In this study, the leading global SPA brands such as H&M, ZARA, GAP and UNIQLO can be considered as a representative taste culture as well as an icon of popular culture in the $21^{st}$ century global fashion and also the aesthetic taste of each brand differentiated from their national aesthetic values based on socio-cultural backgrounds. H&M represents fashionableness, practicality and environmental friendliness based on naturalism, democratic humanism, and functional practicality of Sweden. ZARA emerges as the most trend oriented brand as well as customer centered on the basis of cultural diversity, passion and glamorous artistic sensibility of Spain. GAP shows American iconic style, which is the functional sports casual wear, originated from American leisure culture and mass production. Lastly, UNIQLO represents high-tech functionalism and practical simplicity based on Japanese delicate workmanship and simple, concise lifestyle while relatively does not much follow the fashion forward trends. Consequently, the national taste has been proved as a solid foundation to identify each global brand. This should be the key component also applied to Korean global brands for developing their concepts and strategies more successfully based on our own national aesthetic taste.

  • A high-performance low-complexity decoding algorithm for LDPC codes is proposed in this paper, which has the advantages of both bit-flipping (BF) algorithm and sum-product algorithm (SPA). The proposed soft bit-flipping algorithm requires only simple comparison and addition operations for computing the messages between bit and check nodes, and the amount of those operations is also small. By increasing the utilization ratio of the computed messages and by adopting nonuniform quantization, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gap to the SPA is reduced to 0.4dB at the frame error rate of 10-4 with only 5-bit assignment for quantization. LDPC codes with high column or row weights, which are not suitable for the SPA decoding due to the complexity, can be practically implemented without much worsening the error performance.

  • The purpose of this study to analysis influence commitment and post-purchase satisfaction on VMD components within SPA stores. VMD Components are consist of product directing and space directing as independent variables, we are empirical study on affective commitment and post product purchasing satisfaction. To validate the hypothesis by path analysis conducted between variables using SPSS 12.0 and LISREL8.7, the results are as follows : First, product directing and space directing have significant effect on commitment and post-purchase satisfaction. Second, commitment have significant effect on post-purchase satisfaction. Third, we found commitment have mediate effects from analysis direct affect and indirect affect of path coefficients. Contribution of this study to found VMD components consist of product directing and space directing are both important factors SPA stores, among them space directing is more important role commitment and after purchasing satisfaction. And that is based on emotion-cognitive theory by revalidation, these results are used on developing VMD strategy that is required at the time of practical and theoretical guidance of SPA stores.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the possible antioxidant effect of Spirodela polyrhiza (SP) on rats fed a high fat and high cholesterol diet supplemented with either 5% (SPA group) or 10% (SPB group) SP for 4 weeks. The hepatic SOD activity of the HF group significantly decreased compared to that of the N group, but that of the SPA and SPB groups significantly increased. The GPx activity of the SPA and SPB groups in the liver was significantly greater than that of the HF group, and the hepatic catalase activity of the SPA and SPB groups significantly increased compared to the HF group. The hepatic superoxide radical content of the mitochondria and microsomes of the HF group significantly increased compared to that of the N group, but the contents were reduced in the group that took SP powder. The hepatic hydrogen peroxide content in the cytosol and mitochondria of the SP powder group was lower than in the HF group. The carbonyl content in the mitochondria and microsomes of the SPA and SPB groups was significantly lower than in the HF group. The TBARS values in the liver significantly decreased in the SPA and SPB groups. Spirodela polyrhiza was thus effective in reducing oxidative stress by regulating the hepatic antioxidant enzymes and the free radicals in rats fed high fat and high cholesterol diets.
