This is an attempted research study. For this purpose, a self-report online survey was conducted and analyzed among 204 college students attending a university in northern Gyeonggi Province. The analysis method used SPSS 25.0 program to calculate internal consistency, frequency analysis to identify the general characteristics of the research subject, descriptive statistical analysis to determine the level of the research variable, and differences in research variables according to the characteristics of the research subject. To find out, an independent samples t-test, analysis of variance, and post hoc test were conducted, and analysis using SPSS Process Macro was conducted to verify the mediation effect. The results of the analysis showed a positive (+) correlation between self-differentiation and views on marriage, which suggests that self-differentiation has a significant impact on establishing a positive view on marriage, and for this purpose, it is necessary to establish a positive view on marriage among college students. To this end, we aimed to provide basic data to support education for healthy families through national policy.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between parental/parental attachment and career indecision among college students, and to examine the goodness of fit and influence of variables in a model that assumes that socially imposed perfectionism has an influence on the relationship between parental/parental attachment and career indecision. It's about verification. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted by randomly sampling 250 college students attending 4-year institutions across the country, and data analysis was conducted using a three-stage regression method using SPSS Win 25.0. The analysis results are as follows. First, psychological attachment to parents appears to have a negative effect on career indecision, confirming that the more a stable attachment relationship with parents is formed, the less difficulties in career decision-making. Second, the mediating effect of socially imposed perfectionism was confirmed in the relationship between psychological attachment to parents and career indecision. This shows that the more stable the psychological attachment to the father and mother is formed, the lower the level of socially imposed perfectionism and career indecision. Based on these research results, implications for career counseling practice and follow-up research were discussed.

  • This study addressed housing issues among various social problems of youth. With a focus on residential independence, this study analyzed the factors that lead youth to achieve residential independence. This study drew on nationwide data from the 'Youth Life Survey (2022)' with a sample size of 12,578. Binary logistic regression analysis was employed, with the dependent variable being residential independence. Key factors were as follows. The probability of residential independence was higher for men than women. Residential independence occurred mainly in non-metropolitan areas compared to metropolitan areas. Findings revealed that greater age, income, and assets facilitate achieving residential independence. In addition, public transport and cultural facilities were important for their residential independence, and it was found that the previous experience of residential independence had a positive effect. Policy implications derived from the findings are as follows. It is required to consider the heterogeneity and diversity of youth rather than implementing unitary policies. To ensure continuity and sustainability of self-reliance, long-term support programs are needed rather than temporary support. Moreover, it is required to offer public support comprehensively, instead of youth relying on support from personal networks, including their parents. An inclusive housing policy should be established to support youth for their residential independence in the future.

This study aims to determine not only the Korean seniors' happiness and unhappiness factors but also the means to enhance their happiness and deal with unhappiness. We collected news articles related to the happiness and unhappiness of seniors with nine keywords based on Alderfer's ERG Theory. We then applied a topic modeling technique, Latent Dirichlet Allocation, to examine the main issues underlying the seniors' happiness and unhappiness. According to the analysis, we investigated the conditions of happiness and unhappiness by inspecting the topics based on each keyword. We also conducted a detailed analysis based on the main factors from topic modeling. We proposed specific ways to increase and overcome the happiness and unhappiness of seniors, respectively, in terms of government, corporate, family, and other social welfare organizations. This study indicates the major factors that affect the happiness and unhappiness of seniors. Specific methods to boost happiness and relief unhappiness are suggested from the additional analysis.

The characteristics of the survey subjects were identified through frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis of the 11th year of the Korea Children's Panel (2018) data, and Pearson's moment correlation coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis between major variables. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of children's self-esteem, peer attachment, and parenting attitudes on children's grit. The research results are as follows. First, children's self-esteem, peer attachment, and parenting attitudes were found to be positively correlated.
