사회적 지지 및 부모역할만족도와 어머니의 양육행동 (Social Support, Parent-Satisfaction, and Mothers' Parenting Behaviors)

  • The relationships of social support and parent-satisfaction to the mothers' parenting behaviors were examined in a sample of 235 mothers who have preschool-aged children. Mothers completed three kinds of questionnaires such as the perception of the social support, the parent-satisfaction comprised of five subscales, general satisfaction parent-child relationship, support of husband, parent role conflict, and support of child, and the parenting behaviors comprised of two subscales, warmth and control. Social support and parent-satisfaction were found to have significant influence on mothers' warmth. The more social support they perceived and the more parent-satisfaction they had, the warmer they were. But these variables were not significantly related to the mothers' control except two subscales of parent-satisfaction they had, the warmer they were. But these variables were not significantly related to the mothers' control except two subscales of parent-satisfaction, parent-child relationship and parent role conflict. the importance of social support was emphasized for yielding the positive parenting behaviors.

후기 청소년의 부모-자녀 관계, 사회적 지지 및 대처 (Perceived Social Support and Parent-child Relationship ,Coping in Late Adolescents)

  • The Purpose of this study was to identify of parent-child relationship, Perceived social support and coping of female in late adolescents and its relationships. The underlying assumption is that Parent-child relationship based on internal working cognition affects on perceived social support and coping. The sample was consisted of 277 female students of college. The instruments used in this study were Parental bonding instrument (PBI)(Parker, Tupling & Brown. 1979), Personal resources questionnaire : PRQ-part II (Weinert ' Brant, 1987), and Way of coping (Folkman & Lazarus, 1985). The data was analyzed using frequencies, correlation coefficient, ANOVA. and t-test. As a result. perceived social support correlated positively with Parental care and negatively with parental overprotection. Perceived social support showed positive relationship with coping. Perceived social support differed according to parent-child relationship type. The group of 'affectionate constraint' high care and high overprotection. reported high perceived social support, but 'affectionless control'(low care and high overprotection) reported low perceived social support. The group of high perceived social support showed higher parental care and higher coping than low one. The group of high coping showed higher parental care, lower parental overprotection and higher perceived social support than low one. Findings from this study linking retrospective accounts of early parental relationships to current working models concerning the nature of supportive relationships are consistent with attachment theory that individual who, as children, experienced relationships with their parents that were independent-encourage. affectionate, and not overprotective developed working models of others as available to provide social support. This study confirmed that perceived social support significantly related to coping in dealing with stress.

부모상담에서 어머니의 자기은폐 수준 및 지각된 사회적 지지와 작업동맹의 관계 (Working Alliance in Parent Consultation : Relationships with Mothers' Level of Self-concealment and Perception of Social Support)

  • This research studied mothers of clients to examine relationships between level of self-concealment and level of perception of social support in the working alliance (goal concurrence, task agreement, and emotional relationships during parent consultation) as perceived by the therapist, Subjects were 87 mothers of clients and 42 therapists. The parent consultation sessions examined in this study ranged from the 3rd to the 12th session. Data were analyzed by simple regression and two-way ANOVA. Results showed that (1) the level of self-concealment affected all components of working alliance. (2) Perception of social support level affected all components of working alliance. (3) Interaction effects of levels of self-concealment with perception of social support were significant.

부모-자녀 관계와 대학 적응 간의 관계에서 임파워먼트와 사회적 지지의 매개효과 (Mediation Effect of Empowerment and Social Support in the Relationship between Parent-child Relationship and College Adjustment)

  • 본 연구는 부모-자녀 관계가 대학 적응에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 임파워먼트와 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 수행하였다. 본 연구는 서술적 조사연구로, 일개 대학에 재학 중인 219명의 대학생을 대상으로 하였고, 2019년 5월부터 6월까지 온라인 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 부모-자녀 관계는 임파워먼트, 사회적 지지 및 대학 적응에 유의한 직접효과가 있었다. 그리고 부모-자녀 관계는 임파워먼트와 사회적 지지를 통해 대학 적응에 미치는 영향에서 유의한 간접효과(매개효과)가 있었다. 부모-자녀 관계가 임파워먼트를 통해 대학 적응에 영향을 미치는 간접효과는 사회적 지지를 통한 간접효과보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 대학생의 대학 적응을 증진시키기 위한 방안으로 부모-자녀 관계 개선, 사회적 지지를 통한 정서적 친밀감 향상, 대학 적응에 강력한 요인인 임파워먼트 강화가 필요함을 논의하였다.

초등학생의 따돌림 현상과 사회적지지, 부모-자녀간 의사소통과의 관계 (Study on Bullying, Social Support and Parent-adolescent Communication for Elementary School Students)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study are as follows: Identifying the types of bullying; describing the relationship among social support, parent-adolescent communication and bullying types; identifying factors influencing the bullying. Method: 374 subjects were 5-6th grade students of two elementary schools in Daejeon. We collected the data from June 10 to October 29, 2002. The data were analyzed by using the frequency, ANOVA, pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression in the SPSS. Result: The 7 % of the subjects were found as bullies and another 23.8 % as victims, while 25.9 % were found as bully-victim group. The number of the victims in peer-support got less than in the normal or bully group. In the correlation analysis, the score of bullies, victims and bully-victim group were reversely-correlated with the social support. The score of victims was reversely-correlated with the mother-adolescent communication. In regression analysis, the social support influenced significant effects on both the bullies and victims. Conclusion: Findings indicated that the health professionals need to identify social support and parent-adolescent communication according to bullying types. Therefore, adequate approaches for the three independent groups of bullying are necessary.

장애부모 아동과 일반아동의 자아존중감에 따른 부모관련 스트레스, 사회적 지원 및 학교적응 (Children's Parent-related Stress, Social Support and School Adjustment according to Self-esteem of Children with Handicap & Nonhandicap Parents)

  • This study investigates the differences in parent-related stress, social support, and school adjustment according to self-esteem of children with disabled and non-disabled parents. The data were collected from 176 students between 4th and 6th grade in Chungbuk area. For a data analysis, mean, frequency, percent, three-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation were used. The results show that children's perceived parent-related stress, social support, and school adjustment are varied according to their self-esteem. Those with higher self-esteem were found to have tusker perception level in social support and school adjustment. On the contrary, they were found to have lower level in parent-related stress. The findings indicate further that girls have a closer relationship with their teachers than boys and that children with disabled parents have a closer relationship with their teachers than those with non-disabled parents. However, as opposed to prediction, parental disability itself caused no difference in the level of parent-related stress.

청소년의 부정적 정서 및 사회적 지지와 진로성숙도 간의 관계 (The Relationships Between Negative Affect, Social Support, and Career Maturity Among Adolescents)

  • Objective: This study examined the relationships between negative affect, social support, and career maturity among adolescents. Methods: The participants in this study comprised 260 $1^{th}$ junior high school students in a Seoul metropolitan area. They completed questionnaires on level of negative affect, social support, and career maturity. Data were analyzed by means of basic descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and multiple and hierarchical regression analyses. Aiken and West's method was used to determine the interactive model's modality. Results: The major findings were as follows: First, negative affect was negatively correlated with social support and career maturity. Social support was positively correlated with career maturity. Second, significant interaction effects were found between negative affect and social support on career maturity; that is, for male students, significant interaction effects were found between negative affect and social support (parent support) on career maturity (career determinacy/career independence). For female students, significant interaction effects were found between negative affect and social support (peer support) on career maturity (career confidence/career readiness/career determinacy/career independence). Conclusion: These results suggest the need to intervene in relation to social support (parent support/peer support) and to improve career maturity among adolescents.

과학영재아동의 적응, 자기지각, 사회적 지지 및 스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Science-gifted Children's Adjustment, Self-Perception, Social Support, and Stress)

  • 본 연구는 과학영재아동의 개인 및 일상생활에서의 적응수준, 성별에 따른 적응, 자기지각 및 사회적 지지의 차이를 파악하며, 스트레스와 적응과의 관계와 그들의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 자기지각 및 사회적 지지 수준을 살펴보고자 하였으며, 연구결과로는 첫째, 과학영재아동의 개인적응, 사회적응, 자기지각과 교사지지는 일반아동의 이러한 능력보다 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 부적응, 부모지지, 친구지지는 과학영재아동이 일반아동보다 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 과학영재아동의 자기기획, 편견, 사회적 역량, 행동품행역 량, 자아가치감, 부모지지, 교사지지, 학교친구지지는 성별에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 과학영재아동의 성취동기, 자기기획, 애착 및 사회적 긍정성은 스트레스와 유의미한 부적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 과학영재아동의 사회적 역량, 운동역량, 신체외모역량, 행동품행역량, 자아가치감 및 사회적 지지와 스트레스는 유의미한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 과학영재아동의 자아가치감에 영향을 미치는 변인은 교사지지($\beta$=.26), 친한친구지지($\beta$=.25), 부모지지($\beta$=.21), 학교친구지지($\beta$=.21)순이고 이들의 설명력은 41%이었다. 또한 과학영재아동의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변인은 부모지지($\beta$=-.32),친한친구지지($\beta$=-.28), 자아가치감($\beta$=-.28)순이고 이중 부모지지가 가장 예측력이 큰 변인이었으며, 이들의 설명력은 38%이었다.

청소년 여성 한부모의 사회적 배제와 사회적 관계망이 양육 태도 및 행동에 미치는 영향: 한부모가족 정책 지원의 조절효과 (The Effects of Social Exclusion and Social Network on Parental Attitude and Behavior of Adolescents Female Single Parent - To Investigate Moderating Effects of Public Support for Single-parent Family -)

  • 본 연구는 청소년 한부모의 사회적 배제와 사회적 관계망 특성이 부모효능감과 양육스트레스, 부정적 양육 행동에 미치는 영향과 한부모가족 정책 지원의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 자료는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 '청소년 임신 출산 및 자녀 양육 실태조사' 원자료 중 일부로, 조사 당시 자녀를 양육 중인 24세 이하의 청소년 한부모 262명의데이터만을 추출하여 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년 한부모들은 경제적으로 어려운 비양친 가정에서 자란 경우가 절반에 가까우며, 대부분 비취업 상태에서 월평균 60만원 정도의 소득으로 미취학 자녀를 양육하고 있어 자립이어려운 상황이었다. 둘째, 청소년 한부모의 부모효능감 향상에는 가족 등의 지지가, 바람직한부모 행동 유발에는 가까운 이들과의 밀도있는 관계가 유의미한 영향 요인으로 검증되어 사회적 배제보다 사회적 관계망이 양육 태도와 행동에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 청소년 한부모의 부모효능감과 양육 스트레스에 있어 사회적 배제 및 사회적 관계망으로 인한일부의 부정적 영향이 정책 지원으로 완화됨이 검증되었다. 분석을 통해 한부모가족 정책 지원이 물리적 차원을 넘어 일부 심리정서에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 사회적 기제임이 밝혀졌으며, 중장기적으로 소득과 고용지원, 수당지급 형식 외에 양육 기술 습득 등의 조력이 가능한 돌봄지원을 강화해야 함을 제안하였다.

저소득층 부모가 지각한 부모효능감, 결혼만족도, 사회적지지와 지역사회환경의 질이 가정 중심 유아교육의 부모참여도에 미치는 영향 (Parental Efficacy, Marriage Satisfaction, Social Support and Neighborhood Context as Predictors of Parent Involvement in Low Income Preschool Children's Education)

  • This study examined the relationship between parental efficacy, marriage satisfaction, social support, neighborhood context, and parental involvement in preschool children's education in low income families. Total 460 low income parents' data about parental efficacy, marriage satisfaction, social support, neighborhood context, and parental involvement are collected from the data of index studies for Korean child and adolescent's development in 2009. Parental efficacy, marriage satisfaction, perceived social support and perceived neighborhood context correlated positively with parental involvement. Regression analysis detected different patterns of association between these variables and the three dimensions of parent involvement. Perceived neighborhood context was associated with child care involvement, while parental efficacy was the most influential factor related to child leisure involvement. Marriage satisfaction was the strongest factor influencing involvement in children's educational activity. These results support the validity of a multi-dimensional, ecological conceptualization of parent involvement in low income families.
