The goal of this study is to determine the social emotion model as an emotion sharing relationship and information sharing relationship based on the user's relations at social networking services. 26 social emotions were extracted by verification of compliance among 92 different emotions collected from the literature survey. The survey on the 26 emotion words was verified to the similarity of social relation types to the Likert 7-points scale. The principal component analysis of the survey data determined 12 representative social emotions in the emotion sharing relation and 13 representative social emotions in the information sharing relation. Multidimensional scaling developed the two-dimensional social emotion model of emotion sharing relation and of information sharing relation based on online communication environment. Meanwhile, insignificant factors in the suggest social emotion models were removed by the structural equation modeling analysis, statistically. The test result of validity analysis demonstrated the fitness of social emotion models at emotion sharing relationships (CFI: .887, TLI: .885, RMSEA: .094), social emotion model of information sharing relationships (CFI: .917, TLI: .900, RMSEA : 0.050). In conclusion, this study presents two different social emotion models based on two different relation types. The findings of this study will provide not only a reference of evaluating social emotions in designing social networking services but also a direction of improving social emotions.

Although social commerce is a recent trend in Korea, it is necessary for companies to find a way to effectively adopt and utilize the social commence. Therefore, the focus of this study is to identify critical success factors for social shopping. We generated 40 items to measure 8 constructs. Using data collected from 300 respondents who have experienced both SNS and social shopping, we analyzed our model and its hypotheses. The analysis result shows that social shopping customers don't use SNS to get information when they purchase products and/or services in social shopping web sites.

Social Networking Sites (SNS) provide people with unique online social interaction environments where users can disclose their thoughts, feelings, and opinions to their personal contacts. Although previous studies have suggested that such activities produce positive effects on SNS user well-being, this study considered potential negative effects by investigating the relationship between SNS use and depression. In particular, This stydy examined how specific activities are related to different types of social comparison (upward/downward/horizontal) and how these different types of social comparison influence depressed moods among college students. The analysis of a survey of 245 Instagram users found that (1) looking at other people's status updates and commenting on other people's photos influences upward social comparison, (2) frequency of Instagram use predicts upward/downward/horizontal social comparison, and (3) upward social comparison was postively associated with depression, while downward social comparison was negatively associated with depression. Furthermore, the path anlaysis show that social comparison mediates the effect of Instagram use on depression. It suggests that Instagram use does not directly increase depression but it can lead to depression when social comparison on Instagram triggers depression.
Purpose: This study examined the suitability of using text network analysis (TNA) methodology for topic analysis of academic papers related to nursing. Methods: TNA background theories, software programs, and research processes have been described in this paper. Additionally, the research methodology that applied TNA to the topic analysis of the academic nursing papers was analyzed. Results: As background theories for the study, we explained information theory, word co-occurrence analysis, graph theory, network theory, and social network analysis. The TNA procedure was described as follows: 1) collection of academic articles, 2) text extraction, 3) preprocessing, 4) generation of word co-occurrence matrices, 5) social network analysis, and 6) interpretation and discussion. Conclusion: TNA using author-keywords has several advantages. It can utilize recognized terms such as MeSH headings or terms chosen by professionals, and it saves time and effort. Additionally, the study emphasizes the necessity of developing a sophisticated research design that explores nursing research trends in a multidimensional method by applying TNA methodology.
The networking between the press and elites, and its impact on journalistic activities in fact have been major subjects of scholarly scrutiny particularly among students of elite theory and class theory. This is an empirical analysis of how the press establishes networks with several powers in local community. This study basically examines a set of independent variables, such as the nature of capital and history of local newspapers and explores how the management and elites in the press utilize several social resources and establish networks. Major findings of this study are as follows: To begin with, the networking between local newspapers and elites showes significant differences according to the nature of capital and history of the newspaper. In other words, while the newspapers operated by stock capital revealed high degree of networking with political and financial elites, the newspapers operated by family capital did not demonstrate significant level of networking with particular elites. The shorter the history of newspaper is, the more she tends to be dependent on resources, and feel it imperative to establish strong networks with elites.

It will serve as basic data for SNS's advertising strategy and marketing that promotes cosmetics sales. This study conducted a survey and went through the analysis process of SPSS v.25.0 statistical program. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted to analyze that informativity, reliability, entertainment, interactivity, and disturbance among SNS advertising attributes were used as effective advertising strategies, which had a positive effect on consumers' purchasing decisions. Therefore, in the cosmetics industry, it is necessary to seek strategies to actively utilize marketing in the social media space to promote consumers' purchase needs and to activate purchases.
Social network services are increasingly being used in organizational settings to improve relationships among employees and enhance prospects for information exchange and cooperative work. Social Networking Service(SNS) has deeply penetrated organizational job settings, influencing multiple aspects of employee's life. This study is designed to explore the impact of SNS engagement on the job performance mediated as team cooperation and decision making quality effects. Data were collected from 146 employees who use organizational SNS in there company. Factor analysis and structural equation method are employed. Results from a survey accompanied by the substantial impacts of organizational employee's social networking engagement on social learning processes and outcomes. SNS engagement not only directly influences organizational employee's job performance, but also helps their team cooperation and decision making quality from others and adapt to organizational culture, both of which play prominent roles in improving their job performance.
The explosive growth of social networking services based on smart devices popularize these relationships and activities online in accordance with the far larger impact of this on the real life offline, the interest and importance for the online activity is increasing. In this study, factors affecting the SNS activity are defined by object, user, influence direction, influence distance and proposed a method to measure organic terms in effect between the SNS users. Influence Direction and Influence Strength (or Distance) are elaborated by using the existing influence measurement element such as structured data - the number of friends, the difference between the number of contacts - and the new influence measurement element such as unstructured data - gap between the former time and the latter time, preference and type of response behavior - that occur in social network service. In addition, the system for collecting and analysing data for measuring influence from social network service and the process model on the method for measuring influence is tested by using sample data on Facebook and explained the implementation probability.
Recently, the development of smart devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs, with mobility, convenience and real-time computing, promotes proliferation and activation of social media. It also causes innovative changes in communication methods. Since 2010, researches in SNS (Social Networking Services) have focused on developing marketing strategies using SNS. On the other hand, the main purpose of this study is to provide a requirement analysis method of smart phone users by using content analysis of SNS. An information systems developed in this study in order to analyze content of SNS automatically because it is very difficult and time consuming to analyze it manually. In addition, this study compares the result of content analysis with that of Kano survey in order to examine consistency between the two results.
As Internet technology further develops, a social networking service (SNS) also develops. But most studies on SNS are not appropriate for business purposes since they mainly focus on personal characteristics. Unlike previous studies, however, this study tries to understand the effect of SNS on performance in the perspective of business. As the result of analysis, SNSE(Social Networking Service Engagement) appears to have positive effect on TMC(Transactive Memory Capability) and PER(Performance), and TMC also seems to affect PER. On the assumption that there should be some parameters between SNSE and PER that earlier studies did not consider, this study has proved that a new way of memories, or TMC, forms the bridge between SNS and PER. It also found out that the time spent on SNS is positively controlled when SNSE affects TMC. These results are different from those of the previous studies arguing that SNS has nothing to do with PER.
