최근 지역에 거주하는 구성원이 다양한 사회적 배경을 갖는 정도를 의미하는 사회적 다양성 논의가 확산되고 있다. 기존 연구들은 사회적 다양성이 사회적 신뢰, 사회자본 등 삶의 질과 높은 상관관계를 형성하는 개념들과 긍정적 영향관계가 있음을 제시한다. 사회적 다양성의 대칭적 개념인 사회적 분리가 주민의 삶에 미치는 부정적인 영향력이 사회 이슈임을 고려할 때 사회적 다양성과 삶의 질에 대한 직접적이고 심층적인 논의가 필요하다. 본 연구는 지역의 사회적 다양성이 개인의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향력을 다수준모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 또한 기존 연구 결과에 기초해 전체표본에 대한 분석과 더불어 소득계층을 구분한 분석을 추가적으로 진행하였다. 그 결과, 투입된 다섯 개의 사회적 다양성 지표 중 주민 직업 유형의 다양성을 측정한 직업다양성이 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 소득다양성의 경우에는 동질성이 높을수록 삶의 질이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석은 이후 도시정책의 방향 설정에 유용한 정책적 함의를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

While we go through a rapid change in society, family types composing social relationship underwent lots of changes. Recently the range of family is included not only families on the basis of blood relationship but also single family, a one-parent family and non-blood relationship family. Now we need not unified types of housing but social integrated housing models responding to family diversity. The purpose of this study is that examine family diversity through social statistics and demography and grasp the current housing types responding to family diversity. The features of family diversity are reducing the number of family member and turning up a unformal family type. At the social statistics and demography in 2005, the number of family member is only 2.9 people per family. Due to decline of birth rate and change of marriage consciousness, various family types appear and increase such as single family, a one-parent family and non-blood relationship family. But there is lack of housing types responding to such family diversity. This study will be a basic research to develop social integrated housing models responding to family diversity. Housing must be sensitive to change of family type, so it responds our needs based on thorough understanding on various housing life.

Recently, social conflicts have intensified, and a diverse society is to the fore as a solution to social problems. In rural areas, the transition to a diverse society progressed due to population outflow, changes in the agricultural labor force, and an increase in multicultural families. In this study, regional social diversity in Gyeongsangnam province was measured using the neighborhood diversity index and the Simpson index. In addition, the relationship with the regional economy at the county level and township level was analyzed. As a result, it was found that the Gun regions have higher social diversity than the Si regions. and the city area showed a larger index value for residential segregation.

최근 빠르게 확산되고 있는 온라인 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 수많은 데이터를 저장하고 이를 분석하여 여러 연구 분야에 활용하고 있다. 정보의 효율성을 높이기 위해 기업이나 공공기관은 자신들이 가진 데이터를 배포하고, 배포된 데이터를 이용하여 여러 목적에 사용한다. 그러나 배포되는 소셜 네트워크에는 개인과 관련된 정보가 포함되어 있으므로 개인 프라이버시가 노출될 수 있는 문제가 있다. 배포되는 소셜 네트워크에서 단순히 이름 등의 식별자를 지우는 것으로는 개인 프라이버시 보호에 충분하지 않으며, 소셜 네트워크가 가진 구조적 정보에 의해서도 개인 프라이버시가 노출될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 내용 정보를 포함하고 있는 소셜 네트워크 배포 시 개인 프라이버시 노출에 이용되는 복합된 공격법을 제시하고 이를 방지할 수 있는 새로운 모델인 $\ell$-차수 다양성($\ell$-degree diversity)을 제안한다. $\ell$-차수 다양성은 소셜 네트워크 데이터 배포에서 $\ell$-다양성을 최초로 적용한 모델이며 높은 정보 보존율을 가짐을 실험을 통해 볼 수 있다.

This study aims to reveal the various differences within the factors that influence use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention, specifically in regard to the use motives and use behaviors of Netflix viewers. This study's results demonstrate that the following various factors affected use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention in differential ways. Firstly, the diversity of content influenced use satisfaction to a greater degree than social relations; and the diversity of content, social relations, and active participation all positively influenced continuous use intention. In other words, the more positively users appreciated the diversity of content, and the more strongly they had social relations, and the more actively they participated within communities, the greater degree to which they increased their continuous use intention for Netflix. However, the diversity of content and the convenience of use also had a negative effect on the media substitution intention for Netflix, which means that the more diverse the content and the more convenient the use of Netflix, the fewer the number of users who intended to cancel Netflix and subscribe to another OTT service or resubscribe to traditional media sources.

As multicultural family gradually increased, our society is changing towards multicultural society. This study tried to identify the factors related with social distance of adolescent of multicultural family. The participants were 568 middle school students living in S city, D and H county in Chungnam province. Data for the study were analyzed by frequency, mean comparison, correlation and regression analysis. The study results were summarized as follows. First, there were significant differences in social distance according to gender, school record, and place of residence. Second, there were significant differences in social distance according to degree of intimacy between general adolescents. Third, as a result of correlation analysis, the lower self-esteem was, the lower value orientation was, the lower cultural diversity was; the higher social distance is. Accordingly, social distance for adolescents had negative correlations with self-esteem, value orientation, and cultural diversity. Fourth, variables affecting social distance were gender, school record, family composition, place of residence, friend from multicultural family, intention to be a friend, experience of overseas travel, self-esteem, value orientation, cultural diversity. Among them, intention to be a friend was a main predictor.

This research explores the question how interactions between customer and firm affect firm growth. To test suggested hypotheses, this study collects data on social commerce industry in Korea during the period from the beginning of social commerce industry in Korea, May 2010, to March 2012, and investigates the effect of social media on the growth of social commerce firms. We suggest two hypotheses in this study. First, as web traffic inflow through social media into a focal social commerce increases, the growth rate of the focal social commerce increases. Second, the more diverse social media channel through which web traffic inflows into a focal social commerce, the weaker the positive effect of web traffic inflow on the growth rate of the focal social commerce. Analysis of data shows that inflow through social media is positively related to the growth of social commerce. In addition, our analysis shows that inflow channel diversity weakens the positive relationship between web traffic inflow through social media and growth rate of social commerce firms. These results suggest that firms need to concentrate on few social media in order to attract customers. The study contributes to understanding how interaction between firms and customers influences the growth of the firm.

오늘날 사회는 세계화 다문화로 인해 개인간의 상호 작용이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 국제 사회에서 행동의 주체로서 개인의 역할이 커지고 있다. 본 연구는 사회과 세계 지리에서 세계시민교육을 위한 '문화 다양성'교육의 수업 내용을 제시하고자 한다. '문화 다양성' 교육은 세계화 다문화 사회에서 세계시민교육을 위한 대안으로 타당하며 인권, 공정, 다양성, 공생의 가치를 실현해 줄 수 있는 교육이다. 이에 사회과 세계 지리 수업에서 '문화 다양성' 교육의 수업 내용 구성 방안을 제시하였다. 초등 6학년에서의 "세계 여러 지역의 자연과 문화"단원에서 '문화 다양성' 교육의 관점을 추가하여 수업 내용을 재구성하여 제시하였다.

As a community of practice (CoP) is known to facilitate team learning, it is increasingly important to understand the mechanisms of CoP, thereby enabling organizations to fully utilize it and optimize its benefits. To explain how CoP improves organizational performance, we focus on its effects on social capital and knowledge management activities, and propose a research model suggesting that shared goals and trust in CoP improve its performance through knowledge integration. Our analysis uses structural equation modeling, with field data collected from 372 members of 46 CoPs in three companies; the analysis validates our research model. Our findings also suggest that CoP diversity can strengthen the link between knowledge integration and CoP performance.

혁신 기술 개발이 거듭되며 인공지능, 생명공학, 로봇, 항공우주, 전기차, 태양광 등의 신산업이 창출되며 거시적 경영환경이 급변하고 있다. 이러한 대규모 변화와 복잡성 증가로 인해 창업 전략 차원에서 기술이나 자산의 소유 그 자체보다는 자본이 관계의 중요성 증대로 활용되면서 새로운 가치 창출이 가능한 사회적 자본(Social Capital)의 효과에 주목할 필요가 있다. 사회적 자본은 1916년 Hanifan이 최초로 제안한 개념으로 개인 또는 사회적 구성원들 간의 상호 지속적이며 유기적 관계 또는 축적된 인간관계 네트워크에 잠재되거나 활용이 가능한 능력이나 자원의 전체적 총합을 일컫는다. 또한, 특출한 창업자 1인 보다는 다양한 배경과 특성 및 역량을 갖춘 창업팀 다양성이 각광을 받고 있다. 창업팀 다양성은 창업팀의 인구통계학적 요인이나 신념, 가치 등의 심층적 요소에 대한 다양성을 뜻한다. 거시적 환경 변화로 산업 혁신을 주도하고 국가의 핵심성장동력 창출 역할을 하는 기술창업 및 실험실창업의 중요성이 강조되고 있는데 본 연구에서는 '아이코어(I-Corps)' 프로그램에 주목하였다. 혁신군단을 의미하는 아이코어는 2011년 미연구재단(NSF)이 기업가 정신 및 연구 결과 사업화 장려를 위해 출범된 실험실 창업프로그램으로 교수와 연구원이 참여하는 창업팀 구성과 시장발견활동에 주안점을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이런 특성을 감안하여 네트워크 관점의 사회적 자본과 창업팀 다양성이 아이코어 창업성과에 끼치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 분석 결과 창업팀의 학력 다양성이 창업팀의 재무적 성과에 부(-)의 영향을, 성별 다양성과 사회적 자본의 인지적 차원이 창업팀의 재무적 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 끼쳤다. 본 연구는 아이코어 실험실 창업팀 다양성, 사회적 자본과 그 성과 해석에 대한 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 보다 유용하게 제공할 것으로 기대한다.
