This study aimed to apply a methodological approach, 'social network analysis' to a case study for the understanding of relational structure among stakeholders related to green tourism development. By doing so, this study argued that it is important to identify stakeholder's network structure to help green tourism planners develop collaborative relationship among stakeholders. This study identified the stakeholders regarding a community-based festival development in the southern area of Korea, and investigated two types of networks among them: decision-making power relational and intimate network. Interviewer-administrated survey and in-depth interview were employed for data collection. The data was analyzed by SPSS (version 10.0) and Net-MinerII (version 2.5.0), and by constant comparison method. The result revealed that low different groups of the stakeholders were separated in the intimate networt and that the festival organizational body was not connected with other stakeholders in the decision-making power relational network. The existence of separated groups and weak relationship among the stakeholders appeared to relate to age-group differences, and different views on the festival between the stakeholders.

Social network game (SNG) literally is a game based on the relationship between social network or Relationships with people is an important element in the game you need to make full use of them is that you can smooth progress. The form of a social network game activities in the social network game applications by linking corporate products and can be induced to purchase marketing and advertising through in-game social network game on the company's Web site or by connecting the mall and shop are also available. In this study, SNG business models, Case For game development, social commerce based on the new proposed future revenue model linking scheme is proposed.

The aim of this study is to develop basic artificial neural network models in forecasting the in-sample gross domestic product (GDP) of Malaysia. GDP is one of the main indicators in presenting the macro economic condition of a country as set by the world authority bodies such as the World Bank. Hence, this study uses an artificial neural network-based approach to make predictions concerning the economic growth of Malaysia. This method has been proposed due to its ability to overcome multicollinearity among variables, as well as the ability to cope with non-linear problems in Malaysia's growth data. The selected inputs and outputs are based on the previous literatures as well as the economic growth theory. Therefore, the selected inputs are exports, imports, private consumption, government expenditure, consumer price index (CPI), inflation rate, foreign direct investment (FDI) and money supply, which includes M1 and M2. Whilst, the output is real gross domestic product growth rate. The results of this study showed that the neural network method gives the smallest value of mean error which is 0.81 percent with a total difference of 0.70 percent. This implies that the neural network model is appropriate and is a relevant method in forecasting the economic growth of Malaysia.
The purpose of this study was to develop the Children's Social Support Scale to assess three potential aspects of social support in elementary school age children ; the children's subjective apprasials of family, peer, and teacher support ; the frequency of supportive behaviors available from the child's support network; and the size of children's social support network. The subjects of this study were 380 children of forth and sixth graders in elementary schools located in Seoul. The 68 items(perceived support scale 30 items, enacted support scale 35 items, and support network 3 items) were analyzed by the statistical methods of item analysis, principal factor analysis, Factor analysis revealed that a three factor solution was the best for the Perceived Support scale ; family peer, teacher support. Enacted Support scale comprised of three factors; emotional, self-esteem, and informational support. Support Network scale was composed of emotional, self-esteem, and informational support network. Reliabilities for the domains ranged form .75-89. It was concluded that the children's Social Support scale in general is acceptable for use in Korea.

This paper examines individual and social strategies to form profitable cooperation networks. These two types of strategies measure network stability and efficiency that may not meet in a single network. We apply restrictions on knowledge flows (R&D spillovers) and links formation to integrate these benefits into structures that ensure high outcomes for both strategies. The results suggest that linking the spillovers to the firms' positions and restricting cooperation contribute to reducing the conflict between the individual and social strategies in the development of cooperative networks.

With the rapid development of Internet and big data technology, various online social network platforms have been established, producing massive information every day. Hot topic discovery aims to dig out meaningful content that users commonly concern about from the massive information on the Internet. Most of the existing hot topic discovery methods focus on a single network data source, and can hardly grasp hot spots as a whole, nor meet the challenges of text sparsity and topic hotness evaluation in cross-network scenarios. This paper proposes a novel hot topic discovery method across social network based on an im-proved LDA model, which first integrates the text information from multiple social network platforms into a unified data set, then obtains the potential topic distribution in the text through the improved LDA model. Finally, it adopts a heat evaluation method based on the word frequency of topic label words to take the latent topic with the highest heat value as a hot topic. This paper obtains data from the online social networks and constructs a cross-network topic discovery data set. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method compared to baseline methods.

The widespread adoption of the social computing paradigm has ushered in the development of online social innovation community (OSIC) as a promising method for solving social problems. Previous studies have not explicitly considered the conceptual factors that facilitate these communities' users' innovative activities, so it is vital to conduct empirical studies to verify the effectiveness of these factors. In this paper, the primary goals are to construct a theoretical model of the social innovation and empirically verify the casual relationship between theoretical factors and societal innovativeness. A survey of 398 OSIC users was conducted to empirically validate the theoretical model. The causal relationships between network characteristics and social innovativeness were experimentally tested. The results of this study indicated that ambiguity, switching, and multiplexity are important factors that facilitate social innovativeness, which contradicts the prior assumptions about innovation performance.
Purpose: The objective of this study is to provide a methodology that can facilitate efficient development of a product portfolio by utilizing Korean Standards(KS) networks. Methods: A case study on a steel manufacturing company is provided. Social network analysis h as been conducted on KS network and KS certification information of the company. Core test standards of a company have been identified. The core standards, then, used to construct a product-standard network of a corresponding industry. Results: As a result of analyzing product-standard networks, a product portfolio of a company has been developed. It has been shown that the candidate product portfolio is a cost-effective alternative in terms of standard maintenance cost. Conclusion: By using social network analysis, standards information can be used to support new product development process.

Social Network has common functions such as acting as primary platforms smoothing the sharing and distribution by combination with various contents. Hence, questionnaire has been conducted to users of all of Twitter, Facebook and KakaoStory, and the factors affected by each service are presented by statistical analyses of the survey and the results are resolved by dividing them into complete and instrumental social capital. This study will be able to provide a standard for users to select Social Network according to their purposes and contribute to development of new Social Network or improvement of existing ones.
Due to the spread of unreliable online information on the social network services, the users are faced with a difficult problem for determining if the information is trustworthy or not. At present, the users should make a decision by themselves throughly for the trustworthiness of the information. Therefore, we need a way to systematically evaluate the trustworthiness of information on the social network services. In this paper, we design a trust index, called KTI (Korean Trust Index for SNS), as a criterion for measuring the trust degree of the information on the social network services. Using KTI, the users are readily able to determine whether the information is trustworthy. Consequently, we can estimate the social trust degree based on the variation of KTI. This paper derives the various factors affecting trust from the properties of the social network services, and proposes a model to evaluate the trustworthiness of information that is directly produced and distributed over the online network. Quantifying the trust degree of the information on the social network services allows the users to make efficient use of the social network.
