  • The medical industry is rapidly evolving into a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and ICT technology, such as mobile health, wireless medical, telemedicine and precision medical care. Medical artificial intelligence can be diagnosed and treated, and autonomous surgical robots can be operated. For smart medical services, data such as medical information and personal medical information are needed. AI is being developed to integrate with companies such as Google, Facebook, IBM and others in the health care field. Telemedicine services are also becoming available. However, security issues of medical information for smart medical industry are becoming important. It can have a devastating impact on life through hacking of medical devices through vulnerable areas. Research on medical information is proceeding on the necessity of privacy and privacy protection. However, there is a lack of research on the practical measures for protecting medical information and the seriousness of security threats. Therefore, in this study, we want to confirm the research trend by collecting data related to medical information in recent 5 years. In this study, smart medical related papers from 2014 to 2018 were collected using smart medical topics, and the medical information papers were rearranged based on this. Research trend analysis uses topic modeling technique for topic information. The result constructs topic network based on relation of topics and grasps main trend through topic.

  • Purpose: To identify the effects of a smart program for the patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (SP-PCI) on coronary disease-related knowledge, health behaviors, and quality of life. Methods: A nonequivalent control group with a non-synchronized design was utilized and 48 participants (experimental=22, control=26) were recruited from a university hospital in Gyeongsang area from May to December, 2016. The 12-week SP-PCI consisted of self-study of health information using smart phone applications (1/week), walking exercise (>5/week) using smart band, feedback using Kakao talk (2/week), and telephone counseling (1/week). Patients in the control group received usual care from their primary health care providers and a brief health education with basic self-management brochure after the PCI. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program through descriptive statistics, $x^2$ test, and t-test. Results: After the 12-week SP-PCI, the experimental group showed higher levels of coronary disease-related knowledge (t=2.43, p=.019), heart-related health behaviors (t=5.96, p<.001), regular exercise (Z=-4.47, p<.001), and quality of life-MCS (t=3.04, p=.004) and showed lower levels of stress (Z=-3.53, p<.001) and sodium intake (t=-4.43, p<.001) than those in the control group. There were no significant group differences in medication adherence and food intake in total energy, lipids, and cholesterol. Conclusion: The suggested SP-PCI provided easy access and cost-effective intervention for patients after PCI and improved their knowledge of the disease, performance of health behaviors, and quality of life. Further study with a wider population is needed to evaluate the effects of SP-PCI on disease recurrence and quality of life for patients after PCI.

  • The study analyzed questionnaires of 431 radiologists in the field of radiology for identifying the effects of smartphone addiction on self-control for college students using smartphones. The results showed that the standard of living for smartphone addiction was higher for middle-income brackets, and that for girls, it was high for gender. Male students showed high self-control among men and women, while those who are not addicted to smartphones showed high levels of self-control among non-addicted people. In addition, the results of correlation are gender and smartphone addiction (r=.221, p<.001) showed a static correlation between smartphone and self-control (r=-.371, p<.001) It has been found that there is a negative correlation. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that university students will be able to improve their program development and self-control ability to prevent smartphone addiction and will be used as basic data for prevention education.

  • Smart healthcare clothing combines IoT, new technology, and clothing construction to perform specific care functions, and its utility has been expanding rapidly within aging and diversified societies. However, the related market remains at an early stage of development due to limited regulation, lack of consumer awareness, and the need for not only technical development but promotion plans for potential users. This paper aims to analyze factors influencing purchase intention for smart healthcare clothing with biosignal monitoring, including variables in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), clothing attributes, health-related lifestyle factors, and fashion innovativeness. A survey was conducted on a sample of 300 males and 300 females ranging in age from 20 to 50 years, and data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived aesthetic attributes, health responsibility, and fashion innovativeness were overall significant predictors of using smart healthcare clothing. Additionally, perceived ease of use and physical activity in the male subsample, and perceived compatibility within the female group, also had significant effects. Furthermore, age was a determining factor; for subjects in the 30s age group, perceived usefulness, compatibility, and health responsibility had significant positive associations. The results of this study can provide basic guidelines for designing merchandising plans to expand user acceptance of smart healthcare clothing.

  • This study aims to analyze exercise cases and issues using smart devices and technologies, and to present the development direction of a smart exercise environment suitable for the wellness life of active seniors with high activity and economic power unlike the existing silver generation. In the fitness industry, the subscription economy that regularly receives or uses necessary exercise tools, services, and digital content is expanding, and business models based on hardware sales and content subscription continue to emerge. In order to have value competitiveness as a platform that provides active seniors with integrated exercise services for health care, not only fitness centers, but also home training exercise equipment, fitness-related applications, and smart wearable device markets should be organically connected to form an expanded total platform. In order to have value competitiveness as a platform that provides active seniors with integrated exercise services for health care, not only fitness centers, but also home training exercise equipment, fitness-related applications, and smart wearable device markets should be organically connected to form an expanded total platform. The linkage of the digital healthcare function, which provides real-time changes to exercise programs based on continuous monitoring and feed back through wearable devices before, after, and during exercise by receiving and selecting exercise programs suitable for individual health status, is the differentiating factor in the smart fitness model.

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for oral health promotion in adults by analyzing causal relationships for oral health practice determinants. A total of 204 questionnaires obtained from adults living in Busan and Gyeongnam area were analyzed to verify the study model with the Smart PLS v2.0 M2 software. Among oral health belief factors, the severity of and susceptibility to oral disease and benefit of oral care behavior affected oral health-related self-efficacy. The self-efficacy on ordinary oral health care behavior significantly affected overall oral health practice. The severity of and susceptibility to oral disease and benefit of oral disease prevention behavior affected toothbrushing habit and oral examination and training through toothbrushing-related self-efficacy. Therefore, the increased oral health-related self-efficacy through strategic efforts, including various training media development, with improved awareness of oral health belief by continuous oral health care program development will lead to continuous oral health practice in adults.

  • This study was to evaluate opportunities for the commercialization of smart insole. smart technology is evolving to Insole. Pressure-sensitive sensor or an acceleration sensor is applied to create a balance of the feet and body, is also evolving for entertainment (sports, entertainment, etc.) and health care. Moreover, smart insole can fix an incorrect walking habit by sending a weight value measured by the sensor on a smartphone and during the movement, smart insole helps to correct body balance by measuring the center of gravity moving condition. However, smart tendency of the insole has yet to create a clear boundary in the entertainment and healthcare markets. This is because the fitness band, smart socks, smart shoes can also replace the benefits of a smart insole. Interestingly, the business opportunities are appearing more frequently in health care solution service of electrocardiogram, body temperature, blood pressure, etc., rather than smart devices.
