  • Smart Education began with the smart generation. But It did not activated and stopped Provisionally. Because Digital contents for smart education are low quality, and education devices are expensive. In this paper, we analyze compatibility and usability of essential digital textbook and device in smart education. Through this paper to indicate the optimum effectiveness in using a limited budget. To activate the smart education spread again. To enhance its position as the home of Smart Education. Improve the quality of education and to contribute to the future development of the nation.

Comparison and Implications of Single Institutional Review Board and Human Research Protection Program in the United States and Korea (미국과 한국의 Single Institutional Review Board와 Human Research Protection Program의 비교와 함의)

  • In the United States (US), due to the Common Rule, completely revised in 2017, single Institutional Review Board (IRB) review has become mandatory for government-sponsored multi-institutional research since 2020 regardless of the number of participating institutions. The goal of these changes is to reduce redundant reviews by the IRB at each institution and better protect research participants. In this paper, single IRB and Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) in the US and Korea were compared and considered, and their implications were discussed. A comparison of the HRPP evaluation and certification systems of the US and Korea includes that of SMART IRB in the US and Korea Central IRB, aiming at single IRB review for efficient review with support from the country and building a more efficient national human subject research network in the future. Its comparison and analysis will be helpful in deriving future tasks and development directions of single IRB and HRPP in Korea.

  • In this paper Wifi robot car working as web sever on wifi network was implemented using NodeMCU ESP-12E board and its operation was verified using web browser of smart phone and PC. Current research result can be applicable to Wifi home automation applications with ESP-12E board.

  • In this study, We developed the non-contact RFID smart tag system. which are consists of passive RFID Tag and Reader. The system was designed for the low frequency of 13.56Mhz-band. The developed RFID smart tag board was developed to improve response time through simulation experiments were conducted. We introduced in the body of an RFID tag technology, circuit design and simulation and experimental results are described.

  • In this paper, we present the design of a compound sensing platform to share environment information with other smart devices such as a gateway, a phone, a pad, etc. The proposed compound sensing platform is designed as a single-board hardware to support air temperature and humidity, soil temperature and humidity, solar visible radiation, etc. It sends the measured information to a smart gateway which shares the information with smart phones and pads by Twitter.

  • In this paper proposes an idea for using NFC(Near Field Communication) on smalt mobile devices, you can easily control the electric wheelchair system. In this system with previous researches controlled a power wheelchair in a mobile device using Bluetooth communication, the board communicates with the integrated control of the wheelchair. With smart mobile devices, the wheelchair control board integrating the signal generated by checking real time so that the user can easily monitor the state of the wheelchair. Users are using smalt mobile devices, the wheelchair can be controlled easily, and the setting at any time according to the state of the individual and can be used. HEX format control is directly in hardware, allowing analysis was read, the user settings are typically used to match cards which support NFC technology such as bus card for registration, storing the selected information and enable read and were applicable. By applying this system, wheelchairs oriented aids disabled and older people able to access to provide with stability.

  • This paper presents a design of the enable switch circuit, which is consist of discrete device at smart junction box(SJB) board. The Enable switch circuit, which receives ignition signal (IG) for input, sends a drive signal to linear regulator and other elements. The circuit design is carried out in a BCDMOS $0.18{\mu}m$ technology, and the performances are verified through simulations according to AEC-Q100 and ISO 7637-2. Die area of the designed Enable switch circuit is $1.67mm{\times}0.54mm$ in layout, and it is shown that the die can be housed in $3mm{\times}3mm$ HVSON8 package. The designed enable switch circuit is expected to be widely adopted in various automotive SJB's since it can significantly reduce the overall printed circuit board form factor.

  • In this paper, to improve the fast boot and soft real-time for the responsiveness in Qplus with relative evaluation rather than an absolute evaluation using validated to perform the services actually used. Qplus is included soft real-time, fast booting, and file system technology. There is a development board that mounted on an embedded Linux and Qplus. AV (Audio / Video) group communications is ported on the development board for soft real-time multimedia streaming services and to evaluate the performance of communication. We performed three major evaluation such as booting time measurement experiment, own performance measurement experiments for soft real-time measurement experiment, and performance measurement experiments for via the network communication performance evaluation. They are a practical Qplus performance evaluation and analysis.

  • In this paper we have studied about the interconnection technology between tablet device and interactive white board(IWB) system. For this study we have implemented the board writing software for both tablet device and interactive white board system which has contents management, page turning and basic writing functions. Then we defined the data format to communicate the control information and board writing information between two devices, and implemented the communication module for the real-time bidirectional communication by using the Socket programming. The page turning or writing information on tablet device were transferred to the IWB system in real-time and vice versa. From the result of performance test based on the error rate, latency time and communication coverage we derived that our implementation software has good performance between tablet device and IWB system. Also from the result of field test we proved that our solution is well suitable to use in real education environment.

  • In this paper, first, a linearized modeling of a phase shift full-bridge converter used in chargers of electric vehicles is derived by using state-space approach and transfer functions from the duty ratio to output voltage and the inductor current are also verified. second, control systems for the output voltage and the inductor current are designed using the root locus technique. It is illustrated by experimental results that the control performance on the output variables is satisfied with the designed digital control system based on a automobile qualified 32-bit microcontroller.
