칼라 영상에서 측면 얼굴 검출시 피부색 검출에 의해 얼굴 후보 영역을 결정하고 템플릿 매칭에 의해 최종 얼굴을 확인하는 방법이 있다. Gang Wei는 측면 얼굴의 좌우 템플릿과 hausdorff 방법에 의한 유사도 측정으로 얼굴 영역을 결정하였다. 이때 측면얼굴은 목 부분이 넓게 퍼져 있는 부분에서 정확도를 높이기 위해 반복 분할 과정을 수행하여 수직 방향으로 3화소 단위로 분할하여 템플릿 매칭을 하였다. 본 논문에서는 측면 얼굴이 좌측 또는 우측 얼굴중의 하나라는 가정 아래, 일단 피부색에 의한 얼굴후보 영역을 수직으로 1/2로 분리한 후 좌측은 좌측후보, 우측은 우측 후보로 가정하여 템플릿 매칭을 하여 좌/우 얼굴을 인식한다. 이는 기존 연구 방식에 비해 적은 분할로 빠른 얼굴 검출을 할 수 있다.

In this study, to check the function of managing the severity of ultraviolet rays with a smart watch, a popular health care IT device, It was tested whether measuring heart rate using a PPG(Photoplethysmography) sensor representatively used in a smart watch could tell skin changes caused by ultraviolet rays. Through this experiment, we examined the possibility that the skin color tanned by ultraviolet rays can be determined only by the heart rate measurement function of the PPG sensor. In addition, the possibility of expanding the heart rate measurement function of the PPG sensor to the use of skin condition management was considered. we used an Arduino-based reflective PPG sensor to measure changes in heart rate by selecting body sites with high and low UV rays exposure. A significant value was derived through tests considering factors such as gender, UV exposure, and age. As a result, the study identified the possibility of adding ultraviolet rays and skincare items to future smart watch healthcare items and the possibility of expanding skin measurement methods. It is also possible to suggest the direction of future research.

본 연구는 파라핀 왁스 마스크팩의 피부개선 효과를 확인하기 위한 연구이다. 연구 대상은 20대 성인 남녀 13명을 대상으로 시행하였다. 연구는 4주간 8회 대상자에게 파라핀왁스 마스크팩을 적용하였다. 파라핀왁스 마스크팩의 피부개선 효과를 확인하기 위해 피부 유 수분도, 피부 표면온도, 피부 부드러움 정도 및 피부상태 주관적 만족도를 측정하였다. 파라핀 왁스 마스크팩 도포 후 피부의 유수분도, 피부표면 온도가 상승하였으며, 피부 부드러움 정도와 유 수분도 및 피부톤의 내용을 포함한 피부 주관적 만족도도 개선되었음을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구결과 파라핀왁스 마스크팩은 피부개선에 효과가 있음을 확인하였고, 피부관리를 위한 피부미용기기 개발에 유용성과 가치가 있을 것이다.

기존 의류 추천 시스템들은 사용자 자신의 신체 촬영 사진이나 신체 사이즈를 입력한 후, 사용자가 좋아하는 의류의 종류를 선택하면 그에 적합한 사진을 보여주는 수준에 머물러 있다. 이러한 추천 시스템을 이용하여 사용자가 의류를 구매할 경우, 사용자의 신체 사이즈에 맞지 않거나 어울리지 않는 경우가 다수 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기존 의류 추천 시스템들의 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 사용자가 사이즈 뿐만 아니라 피부톤을 입력받아 사용자의 신체 사이즈 뿐만 아니라 피부톤에 알맞는 의류를 추천하는 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 의류 추천을 위해 남성 상의 8가지를 대상으로 웹 크롤링을 통해 얻은 의류의 사이즈 정보를 주기적으로 데이터베이스에 저장하고, 해당 의류 이미지의 전체 픽셀을 분석하여 색감 텍스트 값을 추출하였다. 본 시스템의 성능을 확인하기 위하여 남자 대학생 100명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 70% 수준의 만족도를 보였다. 만족하지 않는 대부분의 이유는 추천 대상 의류가 한정되어 있다고 밝혀서 추후 대상 의류의 확대가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

Automatic human face detection in a complex background is one of the difficult problems. In this paper, we propose an effective and robust automatic face detection approach that can locate the face region in natural scene images when the system is used as a pre-processor of a face recognition system . We use two natural and powerful visual cues, the skin color and the eyes. In the first step of the proposed system, the method based on the human skin color space by selecting flesh tone regions using normalized r-g space in color images. In the next step, we extract eye features by calculating moments and using geometrical face model. Experimental results demonstrate that the approach can efficiently detect human faces and satisfactory deal with the problems caused by bad lighting condition, skew face orientation.

피부과 시술 후 피부 상태는 정상인과는 다른 피부 상태로 변화하게 된다. 시술과정에서 레이저와 같은 빛이 피부를 통과함에 따라 피부 홍반과 관계되는 화학적인 인자들이 활성화될 것이다. 이로 인해 피부에 건조함, 가려움, 벗겨짐 등이 발생할 수 있다. 비비크림의 본래의 목적은 메이크업 제품이라기보다는 민감한 피부에 스킨케어 기능을 제공해주는 제품이다. 일반적으로 사용되는 비비크림은 모든 피부 타입에 적합하며 특히 민감하고 여드름이 발생하기 쉬운 피부를 가진 사람들을 타깃으로 하고 있다. 그것은 피부상태를 개선해주는 스킨케어의 기능과 홍반이나 결점들을 효과적으로 커버해주는 메이크업 기능을 동시에 구현해주는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구는 민감한 피부를 효과적으로 진정 및 홍반 개선을 해주는 스킨케어 기능과 홍반을 컬러적인 측면에서 자연스럽게 커버해주는 메이크업 기능을 갖는 제품에 대한 연구를 통해 피부과 시술 후 진정 및 홍반 개선 효과를 갖는 메이크업 제품을 개발하였다.

Several studies have demonstrated that ginseng-berry extract has several beneficial properties, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and vasodilation properties. Ginseng-berry extract has also been shown to have the great potential against skin aging. Its beneficial mechanism against skin aging, however, has not been examined in detail. Also, the effects of ginseng-berry extract on microcirculation and skin cellular responses have not been investigated. Inhibition of skin microcirculation is the primary cause of many adverse biological effects, which is responsible for the skin aging and darkening. We investigated the beneficial effects of ginseng-berry extract on blood circulation, transcutaneous oxygen pressure in vivo model and also on skin microcirculation, cellular response and skin brightening effect in clinical trial. We found that oral administration of ginseng-berry extract markedly increased blood flow rate and transcutaneous $O_2$ pressure, but decreased transcutaneous $CO_2$ pressure. Also, it improved skin tone on cheeks, as is skin brighteness. These results suggest that ginseng-berry extract is a potent candidate for the treatment of skin aging and brightening by improving skin microcirculation.

Objectives : This study was investigated to the relationship ayurvedic constitution and each skin hydration and pH. Methods : The questionaire survey and skin analysis of female students attending university located in Chugnam was carried out in order to assess skin types according to ayurvedic constituion such as vata, pitta and kapha. Data analysis were used describe statistics, ANOVA in Duncan's multiple comparative test and Pearson's correlation by SPSS. Skin hydration and pH was measured by Corneometer and skin-pH meter. Results : The results of this study are as follows. First, in terms of knowledge of ayurvedic constitutional types most students are not aware of that. Second, the most common constitution in the ayurveda medical system was pitta. Third, in the analysis of skin type by constitution of ayurveda, vata had dry skin while pitta and kapha tended to have more combination skin. However, this result didn't show any statistically significant difference either. Forth, the analysis of skin tone by constitution of ayurveda showed that vata was white, and pitta and kapha were just average. Discussion and Conclusion : The results of this study was shown that the difference between Korean and Indian, so we should develop effective diagnosis tool for Korean people. In the future, we expect that ayurvedic skin and body program developed by this study spread and practical use at esthetic industry and domain of esthetics in Korea.

In this research, I compared and analyzed the 'factors of style' that expresses and visualizes the 'characteristics of characters' and the characters from three movies each that was filmed with Kang Ho Song and Keong Ku Seol who acted in many movies both. As the result, for the factors for actors' makeup design, since they have limited choices of textures, colors, and the range of changes, changing the tone of skin to light to dark implied the images of characteristics. Somewhat dark skin tone that was like tanned skin expressed the life style of the character who works for an active profession not for an intellectual position. For the factors of hair style, medium sized wavy hair that goes straight down forehead expressed the character's familiar and informal personality while short cut sized all back style hair expressed confidence, sociality, and logical personality of the character. The actors' costume was important to express the characteristics of characters such as changes of their mind, especially the costumes delivered symbolic meanings of the role of their social class, profession, and their financial state. In addition, there were common factors to create and design a character in terms of the changes of the actors' body shape; when the actor acted the character who has conflicts inside and sarcastic personality, they lost weight on purpose while they gained weight and made a barrel shaped body to act the character who is positive in every occasion and does not realize the real world or who is greed.

The purpose of this study is to provide definition of proprioception, foundations and roles of neuroanatomy, and systemical review of proprioceptive activities in sensory integration intervention. Proprioception exists in muscle, ligaments, joints and skin and it plays important role in controling body movements and interacting with environment during child development. Proprioception interacting with tactile and vestibular systems contributes to the change of muscle tone, postural control, refinements of planning and praxis. Children who are deficit in proprioceptive processing would seek hypo-responsive proprioceptive input or avoid hyperactive one. Outcome of poor proprioceptive input would cause the problems of praxis and postural control. Because proprioception provides information about the position and movement of body and limb it is important for development of body scheme and motor planning. It also influences the arousal and emotional tone. Sensory integration intervention which provides rich proprioceptive activities will improve the level of arousal and enhance motor planning.
