This paper aims to compare meaning of the seclusion which appeared in Samgukyusa with Kangho-Sijo. There is true meaning of seclusion so that a Bodhisattva implements a spirit. And in Samgukyusa, it has a dialectics logic. There is true meaning of seclusion in order to solve a trouble of a participation-retirement through the moral training. And in Kangho-Sijo, it has a plane-divided logic.

The study aims to investigate the meaning of the rurality in traditional three-verse Korean poem written by Sadaebu(사대부). We will discuss integration method for Rural and rurality. Rurality is not physical truth, but personal and subjective thing. The meaning of the rurality produce socially. So, the concept of the Rurality can be interpreted in many ways. Sadaebu in the Joseon period put emphasis on rural as a object of a self-discipline and govern. They compose a poem from rural life. There are various meaning related to rurality in traditional three-verse Korean poem. The rurality meaning of the Sijo written by Yakcheon and Jonjae can define union between the natural order and poetic narrator. poetic narrators accept theirselves to nature and work willingly. The host of the program must make visitors homesick and gives more energy by Sijo experience program. The most import thing is the identification of the visitor and rural. To accomplish these purpose, It needs visitors can sing a sijo by oneself.
The discipline that deals with the role of insects in various activities that affect human aesthetics is called cultural entomology. This study investigated the kinds of insects appearing in modern traditional three-verse Korean poem, Sijo from the perspective of cultural insects. The subject literature surveyed 6,604 works and examined insect words. Among them, there were 215 works that appeared insect words and there were 26 works containing insect words in the title. All of the insect words appeared 257 times and were distinguished by 30 kinds of insects. The most commonly used insect words appeared 57 times as a butterfly, 45 crickets, and 44 insects. Studies in the field of cultural entomology will be needed through various works of art.

Recently, interest in literary therapy has been increasing. However, sometimes reading therapy is called literary therapy. But if you want to be a literary therapist, you need to know about the feelings that literary texts convey. To this end, Park Inkwa has long studied the relationship between sentences and emotions that the human body ignites. This study was also done in the view that the human body is so inspired and cured by literary text. It was conducted on the Lee Hangbok's Sijo "High Peak of Chullyoung", as it is suitable to discuss the feelings of literary therapy. In this study, Emotions were causing a transference to the reader with grief, which told the effect of literary therapy. We hope that such research will continue and further develop the technique of literary therapy.

The hardware of the human body is given the life force by the sentence which is the physiological software that the program for cell activation by the electrical signal enters. The aim of this study is to create a better therapeutic environment for the human body that groaned with errors in the physiological and cognitive systems that are transmitted to neurons and neurons. The sentence program of the rated sijo, which is the software of the human body which has the function as a conductor to connect the emotions of joy, anger, sadness, and enthusiasm to the human mental system, can be connected to the neuron system of the human body, we tried to identify the principle of operating the motherboard of mind in humanities. The research found that there is a strong energy source that can operate the motherboard of the heart very quickly in the rated Sijo. This is because it is confirmed that new coding and re-coding of a number of rated sijo, or a new syllable of one syllable followed by the original syllable of the original syllable, are formed quickly and therapeutically.This has led to the possibility of literary therapy for mankind to upgrade the human psychic system in abundance through the function of the interaction between the sentence as a conductor that is synaptically connected to the human body and the mainboard of the mind attached to the human body without side effects in the future.
The purpose of this research paper is to study the characteristics of Huang Yunseok's sijo and it's implications for his poetic intentions. Huang Yunseok's sijo is didactic in its presentation of facts and ethical lessons. The two main facts it presents are royal favors and his clan's pride. Royal favors concern. for example, encouragement of the king, the king's birthday and deathday, and securing a government position by the king's order. His clan's pride concerns, for example, the geographically wonderful place of Huang Yunseok's ancestor's tomb, his ancestor's great conduct, his clan's beautiful tradition, his birth place, and his birth dream. The main content of the ethical lessons concerns cultivation of the human mind and practicing Confucian ethics. Examples of the former describe the purpose of Confucian study, the ethical doctrine that human being's inborn nature is good, the character of the human mind, and the method of cultivating the human mind. Examples of the latter describe the moral rules to govern the Five Human Relations, separation between husband and wife, and discrimination between males and females. The poetic intention of Huang Yunseok's sip consists of political and economic self-promotion and theoretical devotion to Confucian ideology. Proud of his educated, high Confucian clan, he tries to get self-promotion politically and economically by vowing loyalty to the king. He implies devotion to the Confucian ideology through his description of the practice of the Confucian moral rules, the clinging to traditional Neo-Confucianism, and his insistence on the Neo-Confucian theory that all human beings and animals are the same in their original nature. In conclusion, the didactic character of Huang Yunseok's sip stems from his intention to promote himself politically and economically and his theoretical devotion to Confucian ideology. The way of indicative expression originates from the didactic character of Huang Yunseok's sijo.
This paper examines the literatherapy effects of Korea's oldest form of literature, Sijo, and its role in the future of literatherapy. Since literature is the expression of human emotions, and therapy is related to medicine, the two seem to have little in common, but they share the function of resolving conflicts. The effectiveness of literatherapy has only recently become a matter of discussion. However, literatherapy is greatly involved with the utility value of literature, and should be taken seriously. This research focused on the literatherapy function of the 16th-17th century Gangho-Sijo. Gangho-Sijo was created by literary men from the Sarim-school, who were removed from their posts in the government due to a massacre(Sawha) and rianly(Dangjaing), and spent most of their time away from politics. Their Sijo were mostly about life in retreat, and their mental state at that time. In relation to literatherapy, the mentality and attitudes of these scholars can be divided into three stages. The first is anxiety and depression, the second tranquility and harmony. and the third serenity. At the final stage, the scholars are liberated from worldly desires. Each of these phases hold the effect of literatherapy. The first stage can relate to 'theory of purgation', ISO-Prinsip, which is based on 'like cures like' which means to treat something with its own kind Fight fire with fire. The second step involves 'theory of purification', and by balancing his emotions, the scholar can achieve mental stability. In the final stage, literatherapy is acquired when the scholar expresses his emotions in a clarification(theory of clarification). At this phase, literatherapy finally has an effect, while the phase itself functions as literatherapy as well. The study of literatherapy is still at its early stages, thus has many limitations. However, literatherapy has bright prospects, and it is my hope that this report will be used as a reference for its further research.
This thesis is about Sijo(traditional Korean poem) made-up of 35 volumes and 45 poems written by Han Yong-un. The aim of this study is reappraise the Sijo which is not known to Korean people. There are four thesis about Sijo so far. Ko Myeong-su divided Sijo into separate subjects and researched it very deeply. After I read the Chinese Poems of Han Yong-un, I researched the relationships between subject matter and its theme. The relationships are between the moon and religion, spring and aspiration, autumn and grief or lose, and the sword and patriotism. I chose to discuss a Sijo 'Mugunghwa Shimeukwajeo'(무궁화(無窮花)를 심으과저) shich deals with the moon and religion. The main subject matter of this S is the moon. There are three poems in this volume. They are all about the moon. There is a Mugunghwa (無窮花) on the moon. This poem asserts that the moon is good for love, and it is the subject matter of the poet's religion. The moon in the Chinese poem 'Okjungkamwhiy'(獄中感懷) believes there is hope in prison. The moon in 'Wolbang(月方中) is Buddhist thinking. I researched 'Geochon'(早春) tee poems about spring and aspiration. The first poem is about the independent movement against the Japanese. Autumn is about the feeling of lose in the life. Sijo 'Chuyamong' (秋夜夢) is lose the lover. The second poem is about conquering all difficulties of the poet's current circumstance. The third poem is about the feeling of vacuum in his life. The fourth poem is about deploring losing his mind. 'Nam-a'(男兒) and 'Urinim'(우리님) are books about patriotism. These poems have the subject matter of a sword for song patriotism. 'Kiharksaeng'(寄學生), 'Anhaeju'(安海州), and 'Hwangmaecheon'(黃梅泉) are patriotic poems. In this study, I found that the subject matter and the theme in the Chinese poems of Han Yong-un(韓龍雲) are related. Mainly he used the metaphor of the moon for religion, spring for aspiration, autumn for grief or lose, and sword for patriotism.
This article intends to illuminate how the men. leading agents in Saseol-sijo - musical performers. writers of lyrics, patrons. composers. compilers of Sijo anthologies, audience. etc. - In the Late Choson period, viewed or recognized women and how their understanding of women was reflected in the texts. Working with texts with the theme of 'Love,' this article starts with categorizing two types of love: the first type, 'lovelorn heart' focusing on unilateral pining for a single lover who is absent now and the second type. 'physical love' concentrating on bilateral sexual intercourse. In addition to the types of love, the gender of poetic speakers, distinct from real poets is vital to characterize the discourse of love. According to these two factors. texts in question fall into four groups: texts that a female speaker displays her lovelorn heart('Type 1'), those where she speaks about her sexual experiences('Type 2'), those where a male speaker sings his lovelorn heart('Type 3'), and those where he describes his sexual experiences('Type 4'). Of these. 'Type 2' and 'Type 3' are key to understanding of the men's view of women. With respect to the configuration of the theme of 'Love,' it should be noted that in Korean literary history, the nim or a 'sweetheart' had signified the totality of value or a perfect entity which makes one's life meaningful and that 'Type 1,' the pattern that a female subject expresses her love toward male min, had constituted a traditional way to convey the theme of 'Love.' In terms of this connotation of min. a remarkable increase of 'Type 3' implying the increase of male speakers, reveals the extent to which women, the male speakers' min, accomplished their entry into a 'sacred area' -the position of mm-in which only men had occupied; females are focused and centralized. This article considers this phenomenon as an exhibition of the upgrade of women's significance and weight in the Late Choson society and as an index of 'modernity.' Meanwhile, given that most of the Saseol-sijo poets are men, the emergence of the 'Type 2' texts in which male poets have female speakers disclose their sexual experiences, demonstrates a representative example that women are degraded to be a means of men's pleasure; for this situation gives men more pleasure than when male speakers reveal their sexual experiences. Not only 'Type 2,' but texts group which basically belongs to 'Type I' and conveys the theme of 'Loyalty' through the female voice by substituting rulers-subjects relation for men-women relation, also falls under the same case. For men employ female voice as a poetic device in order to stress the theme of 'Loyalty' This article regards this phenomenon as an index of 'pre-modernity,' in the sense that in a pre-modem society, specifically in Early Choson, male-oriented value system dominates, thereby alienating women. As it is well known, the Late Choson is marked by a transitional period from a pre-modem society to a modem society. Therefore the ambivalence of the premodern and the modem can be found mixed in every segment of the society. The dual aspects of the masculine view of women in Saseol-sijo constitutes one example. The significance of the Saseol-sijo in Korean literary history can be found in this phenomenon.

Nonetheless, if a period of high standard performances and appreciation by a minority of culture connoisseurs can be qualified with the expression "gentrification of culture", then a period when anyone can access culture through the mass media can be qualified with the terms "popularization of culture" and in this period the reorganization of performance culture can only be driven by the public. In fact, the Jabga, which is a type of traditional song that received strong public adhesion by means of phonograph records and radio broadcasts at the time, stands as a typical example to it. Gagok and Sijo up until the 1920s and even the 1930s are believed to engage actively in the changing media environment and the new modes of music enjoyment and transmission. The Album recording of faster rhythm music and the inclusion of the Sijo, Jabga, and folk songs in one broadcast programme can be seen as reflecting such an effort. However, it can only be hard for the Sijo and Gagok to challenge the predominance of the Jabga which made its lyrics more popular and the new songs written in accordance with the new media environment. Until the 1930s in this changing environment of music enjoyment, Gagok and Sijo performers rather sought to distinguish themselves from the existing popular song style by reproducing traditional forms. The album recording and broadcasting of Lee Wangjik Aakbu, the beginnings of local singers, the participation of male performers not only contributed to the diversification the enjoyment culture of songs and sijo, but also made the 'difference in standard' with the popular songs even more salient.
