  • The purpose of this study was to develop a short biomedical ethics tool for healthcare workers, compare it with pre-existing tool, and increase reliability. Data were collected from 211 healthcare workers working in G-do. Exploratory factor analysis was carried out using Varimax rotation extraction method in IBM SPSS WIN/21.0. Convergent validity of the tool was verified by regression and correlation analysis with original tool score. Reliability was verified by calculating intraclass correlation coefficient and internal consistency coefficient. The short, reduced 21 questions tool reflected 84% of pre-existing tool's biomedical ethics. Its reliability was higher than the 29 question tool for nursing students, but there were differences in the components of subdomains and reliability coefficient. Additional development of questions through qualitative research and interviews are needed to increase reliability of the subdomains. Measurement of biomedical ethics dilemma with the tool that has validity and reliability is needed, followed by replication studies.

  • With the advent of smart media, short and fast-paced video content appeared, and conditions for viewing changed to viewing in environments where the perception is dispersed due to distracting and complicated external situations in a short period of time. Accordingly, smart media videos are quickly delivering meaning while keeping the eyes of viewers who lack patience. Our eyes and brain have a hard time accepting image information that flows through the constraints of a small screen. Our visual perception is limited in terms of acceptable visual information and, in particular, less cognition in moving images, so the production of smart media images should be directed in a way that enhances perceptual understanding. To be able to effectively communicate what you want to talk about while reducing the visual burden, intuitive image comprehension is needed by applying intuitiveness and behavioral induction to the moving images. Close-up shot, stable structure such as frontality and three-division structure, and color have such 'visual affordance' Therefore we need to use that device appropriately.

  • It is as result that study to apply mini magnet nerve curer in peripheral nervous system disease treatment. Design and embodied action power and Control Unit in cylinder form of magnet roof object firstly. Yielded service area about special quality of probe of roof object cylinder style and treatment area dimension and distance of treatment pulse secondly. Embody pulse forming course energy value by Probe's form by third, could embody treatment pulse by disease. Specially, through a special quality experiment, saved Damping pulse form and treatment pulse form etc. variously Lately, embodied this to aid a little in disease treatment that follow that there is no invasion that there is no stimulation by medicine development Go amplitude treatment pulse (traditional magneto-therapy of greatly great that strong.) does curative effect greatest at short time and becomes thought that demand is magnified greatly at the future in this research.

  • This study aims to identify the relations between seakeeping characteristics and hull form parameters for YTU Gulet series with cruiser stern. Seakeeping analyses are carried out by means of a computer software which is based on the strip theory and statistical short term response prediction method. Multiple regression analysis is used for numerical assessment through a computer software. RMS heave-pitch motions and absolute vertical accelerations on passenger saloon for Sea State 3 at head waves are investigated for this purpose. It is well known that while ship weight and the ratios of main dimensions are the primary factors on ship motions, other hull form parameters ($C_P$, $C_{WP}$, $C_{VP}$, etc.) are the secondary factors. In this study, to have an idea of geometric properties on ship motions of gulets three different regression models are developed. The obtained outcomes provide practical predictions of seakeeping behavior of gulets with a high level of accuracy that would be useful during the concept design stage.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the image evaluation and the preference of tailored jacket according to the body type and the degree of satisfaction with their body of middle-aged women. The subjects used for this study were three hundred and twenty three middle-aged women ranging from 35 to 50 years old. We measured their bodies and asked them report to the questionnaire. The results are as follows. 1) Middle-aged women were classified into four typical types of body. The type 1 was tall and thin and had a front view silhouette with the form of a letter X. The type 2 was the tallest and the medium of fatness and had a front view silhouette with the form of a letter H that the lower part of the body is short. The type 3 was the medium of height and width and had a front view silhouette with the form of a letter A that the upper part of the body is short compared with their height. The type 4 were the shortest and the fattest and had a front view silhouette with the form of a letter Y that the lower and upper parts of the body is the longest. 2) Middle-aged women roughly tended not to be satisfied with part of their body. The results showed that a neck was the most satisfied body part and the weight was the least satisfied as well as overall leg shape among all 13 body parts. 3) The type 1 had the highest the degree of satisfaction on their face size, upper arm girth, waist, hip girth, weight and body shape, etc., excepting hip shape among 4 body types.

  • The variation of spatter generation in gas metal arc welding with welding conditions and wire compositions was investigated and interpreted in terms of arc stability. The transition range from a short circuit mode to a spray mode in the mixed gas welding showed an unstable arc and generated the largest amount of spatters. Titanium reduced spatters only in the globular mode of $CO_2$welding and silicon and manganese showed the same effect The effect of silicon and manganese, however, was no longer seen when titanium was added simultaneously to the wire. It is believed that deoxidizers easily form oxides on the anode and make the arc stable even in DCRP welding. The wires with deoxidizers also showed low short circuit frequency, resulting in the increase of large size spatters.

  • This paper presents a new design methods of the short-term load forecasting system (STLFS) using the data mining. The proposed predictor takes form of the convex combination of the linear time series predictors for each inputs. The problem of estimating the consequent parameters is formulated by the convex optimization problem, which is to minimize the norm distance between the real load and the output of the linear time series estimator, The problem of estimating the premise parameters is to find the parameter value minimizing the error between the real load and the overall output. Finally, to show the feasibility of the proposed method, this paper provides the short-term load forecasting example.

  • Partial Discharge is radiated in the form of electromagnetic wave from variable sources. It can be taken by UHF antenna and the signal pulse from that has a nonstationary time-series which can be evaluated with several methods. One of them is STFT(short time fourier transform) processed in frequency region. Statistical results using STFT show the possibility being able to discriminate between several PD sources.

  • A two-dimensional analytical model for deriving the threshold voltage of a short channel fully depleted (FD) cylindrical/surrounding gate MOSFET (CGT/SGT) is suggested. By taking into account the lateral variation of the surface potential, introducing the natural length expression, and using the Bessel functions of the first and the second kinds of order zero, we can derive potentials in the gate oxide layer and the silicon core fully two-dimensionally. Making use of these potentials, the minimum surface potential can be obtained to derive the threshold voltage as a closed-form expression in terms of various device parameters and applied voltages. Obtained results can be used to explain the drain-induced threshold voltage roll-off of a CGT/SGT in a unified manner.

  • An isotropic electric-field probe, capable of characterizing and quantifying electromagnetic field, was fabricated. The probe consists of three short dipole antennas, a beam-lead Schottky diode and the high resistive transmission line. In order to get the isotropic response three mutually orthogonal dipoles are configured to form the probe. The probe's short dipole elements allow measurements of electric fields from 300MHz to 2GHz with a flatness of .+-. 2.9dB. The mutually orthogonal dipole configration shows a .+-. 1.2dB deviation in the isotropic response with respect to angle.
