The drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptom (DRESS) syndrome is a severe adverse drug-induced reaction which includes a severe skin eruption, fever, hematologic abnormalities (eosinophilia or atypical lymphocytes) and internal organ involvement. The most frequently reported drug was anticonvulsants. The diagnosis of DRESS syndrome is challenging because the pattern of cutaneous eruption and the types of organs involved are various. The treatments for DRESS syndrome are culprit drug withdrawal and corticosteroids. Here we report a 71-year-old man with skin eruption with eosinophilia and hepatic and renal involvement that appeared 4 weeks after he had taken anti-tuberculosis drugs (isoniazid, ethambutol, rifampicin, and pyrazinamide), and resolved after stopping anti-tuberculosis drugs and the administration of systemic corticosteroids. DRESS recurred after re-challenging isoniazid, we identified isoniazid was causative drug.

The expression of HR-like lesion inducing gene of Oryza sativa (OsHRL) was slightly increased by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) infection. Transgenic rice plants over-expressing OsHRL gene were challenged with Xoo and the development of disease symptoms were examined to investigate the effect of OsHRL gene expression on plant defense responses. The over-expression of OsHRL increased disease resistance against Xoo compared with wild type plants.

Protective effects of cheonggukjang fermented with 20% red ginseng (RC) were observed in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats by measuring levels of blood glucose, serum lipid profiles, and hepatic reactive oxygen species generating and scavenging enzymc activities. RC diet was prepared by mixing with AIN-76 diet at the final concentration 2%, and it was fed to STZ-induced diabetic rats for 3 weeks. The RC dict was significantly improved body weight, feed efficiency ratio, levels of serum glucose, and serum and hepatic lipids in diabetes. The significantly elevated O type activity of xanthine oxidase in diabetes was also greatly decreased by the RC diet. The treatment of RC showed the improved hepatic glutathione s-transferase activities in the diabetic animals. The present study indicates that cheonggukjang fermented with red ginseng could ameliorate STZ-induccd diabetic symptoms such as aggravated blood glucose levels, serum lipid profiles, and even the conditions of oxidative stress.

본 연구에서는 전력계통에서 발생되는 고장 전류에 의해서 변압기의 1차측 코일에 유도되는 전자력의 크기를 유한요소 전자계해석 프로그램(FLUX2D)을 이용하여 해석하였다. 50kVA, 13200/230(V) 단상 변압기의 권선간 전자력계산을 축대칭FEM을 이용하여 각 방향의 전자력을 분석하였다. 누설자속분포, 전류유입시 권선상호간에 작용하는 힘의 변화와 힘의 분포, 변압기 내부권선의 정상시와 고장전류시의 전자계비교를 전자계 해석을 통하여 변압기에 미치는 영향을 해석하였다. 변압기에 대전류가 유입되는 경우의 전자력 분석결과는 변압기의 절연설계 및 단락기계력에 대한 프레임 구조 설계를 위한 자료로 활용된다.

Objective: We got good effect on one patient who was diagnosed One-and-a-half Syndrome. We report this case with a brief review of related literatures. Method : In the point of Differentiation of Syndrome, these subjects were diagnosed as Giheo(氣虛). We treated her with acupuncture and herbal medication(Bojungiki-tang: 補中益氣湯) Result & Conclusion : Symptoms of the patient on this report were improved after above treatment. this case showed oriental medicine enough could be applied on this disease as one of conservative therapies

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between personality traits ana clothing interest in girls' high school students The results were as follows : 1. In the personality traits of higher groups, the subjects scored highest in Sociability followed by Ascendancy and Self-Confidence in a descending order. In the clothing interest, the subjects scored highest in clothing interest of shopping followed by clothing interest of design & fashion, clothing interest of construction, clothing interest of management and clothing interest of psychological aspect in a descending order. 2. There was partially significant relationship between personality traits and clothing into rest. 3. There were highly significant relationships among clothing interest subscales. Specially, there was the highest significant relationship between clothing interest of design & fashion and clothing interest of shopping. 4. There was partially significant relationship between clothing interest and background of home.

TAn E-Mail system is one of the most important services for enterprise and electronic commerce end users on the Internet. However, security for an E-Mail service is not satisfied yet, an E-Mail system with security service is definitely required especially in electronic commerce system. In this paper, an E-Mail system with confirmation of e-mail delivery is proposed, The certification of delivery of E-Mail message is not provided in conventional E-Mail systems. The proposed E-Mail system is composed of this certification of delivery and basic security services. The certification of delivery can prove sender's E-Mail message is securely sent to legitimate receivers. The system is designed and implemented by Java Cryptography API.

본 논문에서는 P2P를 사용한 방송모델을 소개한다. P2P 기술을 이용한 릴레이식 방송모델 시스템을 실질적으로 설계, 구현한다. 현재의 네트워크 인프라를 통해 서버-클라이언트 방송모델의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 방송모델의 구현을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문의 P2P를 이용한 릴레이식 방송 기술을 이용하여 실질적으로 인터넷 방송에 사용 할 수 있게 최적화된 시스템을 도출하고 그것을 통해 품질 높은 방송 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 기존의 서버-클라이언트 방송 모델에서의 여러 문제점 특히 다수의 사용자가 접속 시 접속 거부 또는 저 품질의 방송을 내보내는 현상을 P2P 기술을 통해 작업을 분담함으로써 접속자 수와 관계없이 방송 품질을 유지하고 인터넷 방송에서 품질에 대한 신뢰성을 유지 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축한다.

The activity-guided fractionation upon the MeOH extract of the aerial parts of Sorbaria sorbifolia var. stellipila led to the isolation of two cucurbitacin-compounds, cucurbitacin D and cucurbitacin F, as active principles. Two compounds were shown to exhibit significant cytotoxicity against cultured human tumor cell lines, A-549, SK-OV-3, SK-MEL-2, XF-498, and HCT 15.
