Let D be an integral domain, {$X_{\alpha}$} be a nonempty set of indeterminates over D, and $D{\mathbb{[}}\{X_{\alpha}\}{\mathbb{]}_1}$ be the first type power series ring over D. We show that if D is a t-SFT $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ v-multiplication domain, then $D{\mathbb{[}}\{X_{\alpha}\}{\mathbb{]}}_{1_{D-\{0\}}}$ is a Krull domain, and $D{\mathbb{[}}\{X_{\alpha}\}{\mathbb{]}}_1$ is a $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ v-multiplication domain if and only if D is a Krull domain.

The Arae Hangul wordprocessor is one of the most famous software in Korea. It is very useful to linguists In that it has various systems of foreign characters and enables us to edit enough new ones freely. It has already a broad system of the IPA, which cannot be used for narrow transcription. The writer proposes here a full system of the IPA revised to 1979, which you can get from the Phonetic Society of Korea or Hangul & Computer Co., Ltd., free of charge. To use the new system of the IPA in the Arae Hangul wordprocessor, you must replace six revised files: (1) SPECIAL2.SFT, (2) SPECIAL2.PFT, (3)SPECIAL2.PFT, (4)ASCII.SFT, (5)ASCII.PFT, (6)ASCII.LFT.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare neoplasm, which is usually presented as a pleural based mass, but can also occur in unusual locations based on its mesenchymal origin. However, the radiologic features of SFT occurred in the ischiorectal fossa have been rarely reported. In this case, we describe the MRI findings in a case of a SFT involving the ischiorectal fossa of a 36-year-old man. The tumor appeared as homogeneous iso-signal intensity relative to the adjacent muscle on T1 weighted images, a mixed high signal intensity on the T2 weighted images, and heterogeneous enhancement following the administration of the contrast material.

Purpose: Chronic inflammatory gingival lesions occur as pyogenic granulomas or non-specific chronic suppurative lesions. Methods: Of the 59 chronic inflammatory gingival lesions examined, plasma cell granuloma (n=14), which showed an intense antibody-mediated immune reaction with the increased infiltration of plasma cells, was observed as a pseudotumor-like gingival overgrowth and myofibroblastic or fibrohistiocytitc proliferation of stromal cells with a heavy collection of plasma cells. The levels of CD3, CD20, CD31, CD68, RANKL, cathepsin G, cathepsin K, lysozyme, TNF${\alpha}$, MMP-2, and MMP-9 in the 14 cases of gingival plasma cell granuloma with immunohistochemical detection were measured to determine the pathogenetic progresses of the plasma cell granuloma compared to the common pyogenic granuloma (n=45) in the gingiva. Results: The gingival lesions of the plasma cell granuloma could be divided into three histological types, plasma cell predominant type (PPT, n=8), mixed inflammatory cell type (MICT, n=2), and sclerosed fibrosis type (SFT, n=4). The PPT showed a condensed infiltration of plasma cells into the perivascular spaces of the granulomatous lesion with frequent formation of Russel's body in their cytoplasm. The MICT showed the concomitant infiltration of many macrophages together with plasma cells, resulting in the diffuse destruction of stromal fibrous tissue. The SFT showed granulomatous lesions replaced gradually by thick collagenous fibrous tissue, resembling an inflammatory pseudotumor. The SFT expressed strongly the lymphocytic markers, CD3 and CD20, and the macrophage/monocyte markers, CD31 and CD68, but showed reduced expression of common inflammatory markers, TNF${\alpha}$, cathepsin G, lysozyme, MMP-2, and MMP-9, as well as the reduced expression of osteoclastogenic markers, RANKL and cathepsin K. Conclusion: These results suggest that a gingival plasma cell granuloma shows variable gene expression for cell-mediated immunity and stromal tissue degeneration, undergoing sclerotic fibrosis with a persistent inflammatory reaction.

Pleiomorphic adenoma gene-like1 (PLAGL1) encodes a zinc-finger (ZF) protein with seven ZFs of the C2H2-type which is a regulator of apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, and also regulates the secretion of insulin. In both human and mouse, PLAGL1 is a candidate gene for tumor suppressor and transient neonatal diabetes mellitus (TNDM). In this study, a 2,238 bp fragment covering the complete coding region was obtained and deposited to GenBank (accession number: DQ288899). The reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) indicated that PLAGL1 was expressed almost equally in heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, stomach, small intestine, skeletal muscle, fat, uterus and ovary. Comparing the sequences of Large White and Meishan pigs, a C-T transition in exon 6 was found. The polymorphism could be detected by TaqI and was genotyped in five purebreds (Large White, Landrace, Meishan, Tongcheng and Bamei). Association analysis was performed between the polymorphism and carcass traits in 276 pigs of a "Large White${\times}$Meishan" F2 resource population. As a consequence, significant associations of the genotypes with shoulder backfat thickness (SFT) and internal fat rate (IFR) were observed. Pigs with TT genotype had low SFT and high IFR compared with TC or CC genotypes.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is an uncommon spindle cell neoplasm that is usually presented as a pleural origin localized tumor. There are few cases, found in thyroid. Twenty six cases found in thyroid have been reported since 1993, and two of these were malignant. We report another malignant case in this study; a 55 years old man visited out-patient clinic due to palpable mass of anterior neck, and pathologically diagnosed as malignant SFT of thyroid after surgical resection. In this study, we focus on the clinical features of this uncommon disease along with other literature reviews.

In this study, using an X-ray device (Drgem TS-CSP) and foot phantom (SFT-1556), the angle of the X-ray tube was changed to 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, and 50°, and the image was evaluated by quantitative and qualitative evaluation. In the blind test, it was the highest at 4.34 points at 40°, and in the part calculation using the Image J program, the angle was the largest at 1750 at 50°. In addition, in the area evaluation excluding overlapping areas, the X-ray tube showed the largest value at 40° Therefore, it was found that the X-ray tube angle was suitable when the X-ray tube angle was 40° as a projection method for observing the calcaneus.

Let R be an integral domain. We prove that the power series ring R[[X]] is a Krull domain if and only if R[[X]] is a generalized Krull domain and t-dim $R{\leq}1$, which improves a well-known result of Paran and Temkin. As a consequence we show that one of the following statements holds: (1) the concepts "Krull domain" and "generalized Krull domain" are the same in power series rings, (2) there exists a non-t-SFT domain R with t-dim R > 1 such that t-dim R[[X]] = 1.

Adiponectin (AdipoN), brain-derived nerotrophic factor (BDNF) and leptin (LeP) are mainly secreted from adipose tissue and are known to be involved in regulation of the development of obese. However, there are not many studies on the association between abdominal fat and neuropeptides such as AdipoN, BDNF and LeP. The aim of this study was undertaken to investigate the association between abdominal fat thickness, neuropeptides and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors. The participants in the study were 138 male employees without CVD. This study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute. Written informed consent for the participants in this study was obtained from all individuals. We obtained subcutaneous fat thickness (SFT) and visceral fat thickness (VFT) by using ultrasonography and neuropeptides levels were measured with ELISA kit according to the method suggested by kit manufacturer. The mean SFT and VFT were $1.58{\pm}0.51$ and $4.52{\pm}1.44$ cm. The mean concentrations of AdipoN, BDNF and LeP were $3.14{\pm}3.52$ ng/ml, $24.11{\pm}8.52$ pg/ml and $4.27{\pm}2.38$ ng/ml, respectively. VFT were positively correlated with total cholesterol (r=0.217, p<0.05), LDL-cholesterol (r=0.271, p<0.01), triglyceride (r=0.233, p<0.05) and insulin (r=0.338, p<0.01), but was inversely correlated with HDL-cholesterol (r=-420, p<0.01). AdipoN levels were positively correlated with HDL-cholesterol (r=0.220, p<0.05) and were inversely correlated with total cholesterol (r=-0.196, p<0.05), LDL-cholesterol (r=-0.190, p<0.05), triglyceride (r=-0.199, p<0.05), SFT (r=-0.195, p<0.05) and VFT (r=-0.412, p<0.01). However, LeP levels showed a reverse trend to AdipoN. AdipoN level was significantly higher in non-obese participants (BMI<25 kg/m), but LeP concentration was significantly higher in obese participants (BMI>25 kg/m) than in non-obese. On multiple logistic regression analysis, obese were significantly associated with AdipoN (odds ratio=0.784) and LeP (odds ratio=1.494). These results suggested that AdipoN and LeP concentrations are affected abdominal fat and that dysfunction and/or declination in the production and secretion of neuropeptides might induced ultimately obese and CVD.

The importance of radiation dose display of medical X-ray equipment was emphasized, while third edition of IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) 60601 started to apply. The existing medical X-ray equipment selected a method for attaching the DAP(Dose Area Product) meter when the dose display. However, because the DAP meter was dependent on all of the income, And it did not yet produced in Korea. So, we received the support of Seoul R&BD Program(Grants No. C1152055) to produce DAP meter prototype of the Domestically technology. In this study, the performance of this prototype was evaluated by comparing the German company's product Evaluation item was an electronic capture performance, radiation dose dependence, radiation quality dependence, energy transmittance, repeatability, light transmittance of 6 entries. And IEC 60580 was based on this evaluation. Evaluation results were electronic capture performance intrinsic error 9.5%, radiation dose dependence limits of variation 1%, repeatability coefficient of variation 2%, energy transmittance 91% each assessment was passed. However radiation quality dependence limits of variation 29%, light transmittance 55% was less than acceptance criteria.
