  • Simulation method for a pure radio-frequency (rf) mode of reflection-type and a pure rf mode of transmission-type radio-frequency single-electron transistor (RF-SET) operation is introduced. In this method, the solutions of differential equations based on Kirchhoff's law are obtained self-consistently at frequency-domain. Also, the steady-sate single-electron transistor (SET) current model and the time-dependent SET current model are used in this method. The reflected wave of a typical reflection-type RF-SET and the transmitted wave of a typical transmission-type RF-SET are calculated, and the accuracy of our developed method including the steady-state SET current model is verified with the method introduced by reference 2. At high frequency over GHz, results of our developed method including the time-dependent SET current model are considerably different from that including the steady-state SET current model. At high frequency over GHz, an exact time-dependent SET current model is needed to analyze RF-SET operation.

  • In this paper, we propose a new construction method of binary low correlation zone (LCZ) sequence set. New construction method applies Gray mapping to conventional quaternary LCZ sequence set that has specific property. The period of new binary sequence set is twice as that of used sequence set in construction, and maximum magnitude of correlation value within the LCZ and cardinality of new set is also twice as those of used quaternary sequence set. But the LCZ size is the same with that of used sequence set. If the used Quaternary sequence set is optimal, the constructed binary sequence set is optimal with high probability.

  • We consider linear operators on square matrices over antinegative semirings. Let ${\varepsilon}_k$ denote the set of all primitive matrices of exponent k. We characterize those linear operators which preserve the set ${\varepsilon}_1$ and the set ${\varepsilon}_2$, and those that preserve the set ${\varepsilon}_{n^2-2n+2}$ and the set ${\varepsilon}_{n^2-2n+1}$. We also characterize those linear operators that strongly preserve ${\varepsilon}_2$, ${\varepsilon}_{n^2-2n+2}$ or ${\varepsilon}_{n^2-2n+1}$.

  • Consumers facing a large number of brands to choose from are known to use simplified heuristic to screen a set of relevant brands called the consideration set from the whole alternatives, Purchase decisions are then made from the brands in the consideration set, Two approaches have been suggested to model the two-stage choice process., One is to treat the con-sideration set as a crisp set (e.g Roberts and Lattin 1991) The other is to treat the set as a fuzzy set (e.g. Fortheringham 1988) The paper empirically compares the two types of models using data for soft drinks sneakers and departments. The results show that a model employing the crisp set approach fits the data better than that with the fuzzy set approach and better than a single-stage choice logit model.

  • In this note we define typical set and differential entropy for continuous random variables. Using Markov chain, we show that the various properties of the mutual information and entropies (theorems 3.2 and 3.4 ) and show the properties of typical set in continuous random variables( lemma 4.2 and theorem 4.3.)

  • Purpose: This study evaluated the usefulness of International Classification of Functioning, disability and health core set for children and youths with cerebral palsy (ICF-core set for CP) by comparing the Gross Motor Function Measure-88 (GMFM-88), which is the most widely used outcome measure in children with cerebral palsy (ICF-core set for CP). Method: One subject (Female, 14) was evaluated by GMFM-88 and ICF-core set for CP. In addition, the concept of GMFM-88 was compared with the concept of the ICF-core set for CP in compliance with ICF linking rules. The numerical values both of the GMFM-88 categories and the ICF-core set for CP's items were compared. Results: The ICF b760 was linked to the GMFM-88 59~61. d415 was linked to 57~58 of GMFM-88. d450 was linked to GMFM-88's 65~72. d455 was linked to GMFM-88 at 77and 80~83. Conclusion: The association of the ICF-core set for CP and GMFM-88 was confirmed. In addition, the number of categories of ICF-core set for CP was smaller than the number of items of GMFM-88. In conclusion, the ICF-core set for CP is an evaluation tool that can identify the various features of children. In addition, GMFM-88 was linked to the ICF core set for CP according to the ICF linking rules.

  • This subject investigated visual evaluation of preference and fitness level of set-in sleeve in sleeve types(form)and studied suitable sleeve type at silhouette and targeted female students in twenties. The results of study were as follows: 1. Visual evaluation factors in set-in sleeve of sleeve types were selected 6 factors; the 1st factor is decorativeness, the 2nd factor is attractiveness, the 3rd factor was activeness, the 4th factor was feminine, the 5th factor was charming and 6th factor was a figural element. Decorativeness and attractiveness factors in visual evaluation of sleeve types were the most important level. 2. The visual evaluation differences of sleeve types in set-in sleeve were as follows; in the 1st factor, S and P2 were the most decorative sleeve type. in the 2nd factor, S, P2 and P3 are the most attractive sleeve type. in the 3rd factor, B and P3 were the most active sleeve type. in the 4th factor, L was the most feminine sleeve type. in the 5th factor, P1, L and P3 were charming sleeve type. in the 6th factor, P3 was evaluated that it shows narrowened shoulder sleeve types. 3. The analysis result of preference and wearing level in each sleeve types were as follows. 20's female university students like to wear S, P1, P2 and P3 sleeve types and the most favorite sleeve types are S, P2 and P3. 4. The analysis result of silhouette set-in sleeve in sleeve types; S, B and P2 in H-type silhouette, P2, S and P1 in A-type silhouette, B and P3 in O-type silhouette, L and P3 in X-types silhouette were show the most suitable sleeve types.

  • In this paper, we characterize a vector-valued convex set function by its epigraph. The concepts of a vector-valued set function and a vector-valued concave set function we given respectively. The definitions of the conjugate functions for a vector-valued convex set function and a vector-valued concave set function are introduced. Then a Fenchel duality theorem in multiobjective programming problem with set functions is derived.

  • For continuous maps f of the circle to itself, we show that (1) every $\omega$-limit point is recurrent (or almost periodic) if and only if every $\omega$-limit set is minimal, (2) every $\omega$-limit set is almost periodic, then every $\omega$-limit set contains only one minimal set.
