The Effect of Perceived Medical Services Quality by Outpatient on the Hospital Image, Satisfaction and Re-use Intention (외래환자가 지각한 의료 서비스의 질이 병원 이미지, 만족도 및 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of perceived medical service quality by outpatient on hospital image, satisfaction, and re-use intention in a general hospital. A total of 176 questionnaires were administered to outpatients who presented to a S general hospital in Daejeon. The results of this study are as follows. First, medical service quality had significant effects on re-use intention, satisfaction, and hospital image. Second, the mediating effect of satisfaction on the relationship between medical service quality and re-use intention was not significant but the mediating effect of hospital image on the relationship was significant. Third, satisfaction and hospital image had significant effects on re-use intention. Consequently, this study verified the influence of perceived medical service quality by outpatient on hospital image, satisfaction, and re-use intention in a general hospital. Further, considering that hospital image, rather than satisfaction, mediates the relationship between perceived medical service quality and re-use intention, it suggests that much more general satisfaction is required in the marketing activities of hospitals.

Intention to Use Mobile Delivery Application Services, Depending on Personal Innovativeness and Self-Efficacy (개인혁신성과 자기효능감이 모바일 배달 어플리케이션 서비스 이용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to determine the factors affecting people's intention to use mobile delivery application services. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was employed and a survey was conducted on 300 delivery application users. As a result, personal innovativeness was found to have a positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived playfulness. Self-efficacy turned out to have a positive influence on perceived ease of use and perceived playfulness. Next, perceived ease of use was found to positively affect both perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness, and perceived usefulness and playfulness had a positive effect on the intention to use the service as well. Lastly, personal innovativeness and self-efficacy were found to have a significant indirect influence on the intention to use the service. This study suggests users can be induced to voluntarily and continuously use the service, if their personal characteristics and perception of the service are considered in the future development of the service.

Econometric Analysis of the Difference in Medical Use among Income Groups in Korea: 2015 (한국의 소득수준 간 의료이용 차이의 계량적 분석: 2015)

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to estimate empirically whether there is a difference in medical use among income groups, and if so, how much. This study applies econometric model to the most recent year of Korean Medical Panel, 2015. The model consists of outpatient service and inpatient service models. Methods: The probit model is applied to the model which indicate whether or not the medical care has been used. Two step estimation method using maximum likelihood estimation is applied to the models of outpatient visits, hospital days, and outpatient and inpatient out-of-pocket cost models, with disconnected selection problems. Results: The results show that there was the inequality favorable to the low income group in medical care use. However, after controlling basic medical needs, there were no inequities among income groups in the outpatient visit model and the model of probability of inpatient service use. However, there were inequities favorable to the upper income groups in the models of probability of outpatient service use and outpatient out-of-pocket cost and the models of the number of length of stay and inpatient out-of-pocket cost. In particular, it shows clearly how the difference in outpatient service and inpatient service utilizations by income groups when basic medical needs are controlled. Conclusion: This means that the income contributes significantly to the degree of inequality in outpatient and inpatient care services. Therefore, the existence of medical care use difference under the same medical needs among income groups is a problem in terms of equity of medical care use, so great efforts should be made to establish policies to improve equity among income groups.

  • As the ubiquitous technology has been widespread, the u-service development driven by the private sector is increasing these days. In this paper, a new development methodology of interactive u-services for a mixed-use complex in u-City is proposed. The current state-of-the-art IT, Web2.0, assumes that information must be communicated in both way, not only from service provides to users but also from users to service providers. Here the user-driven u-service will be utilized for service providers to customize user services. By this interactive u-service paradigm, the information users become the information providers so that the mixed-use complex will take advantage of massive information. Also, admitting that the mixed-use complex is limited in terms of the space size, the network effect of information and shared contents created through the interactive u-services can be maximized.

Variation of the Medical Service Utilization of the Dead by Cancers (암 사망자의 의료이용 변이)

  • This study focused on finding the variation of medical service utilization and medical payments of the patients died by three, cancers, stomach, breast, and colon cancer. For this study, data of the one-year episodes of the health insurance subscribers died in 2004 were selected. The frequency of medical visits, the lengths of slays, the days of outpatient visits, the total period of medical services and the total medical payments were compared by the characteristics of the suppliers and utilizers. The data of the patients died by cerebrovascular diseases and cancer in 2004 were selected. To select the dead by cerebrovascular diseases and cancer in 2004, were matched the 2004 reimbursement data of all medical institutions to the data of funeral fee payment by the National Health Insurance Corporation from January 2004 to May 2005 for the death in 2004. The results of the analysis were as follow. The variation of medical service utilization of the dead by cancers were not small in Korea. The current study found that the variation of medical care utilization was influenced by the factors of suppliers, such as types and locations of medical institutions and the factors of users, such as sex and age. It was suspected that the reimbursement by fee-for-service contributed to the variation quite a lot, but we could not compare the variation between the different reimbursement systems in Korea. The results of the study suggested that tile factors of suppliers and utilizers should he reviewed to reduce the under use and over use expressed by variations of medical service utilization. The processes of care, effective communication and management system should be investigated for the equity of medical service utilization. Additionally, prospective payment could he recommended to reduce the high variation of medical service Use. To find the variation caused by under use and over use, further study need to control the severity of diseases, socio-economic status of the users and the system factors.

  • Recently, interest and demand for facial information processing technology that can provide non-face-to-face identity authentication and access management service using smart devices, which is an essential environmental improvement for multi-use facilities, is increasing as a way to prevent the spread of infectious diseases worldwide and to cope with social measures. This study defines a multi-use facility classification system and applied service field to establish a continuous access control system, and measures to improve the usability of the service platform considering scalability through a dual access control system and personal/measurement information type analysis, and accordingly We would like to propose a service roadmap. In addition, it aims to improve the physical access management system service platform, which is a multi-use facility application service that requires one-time and multiple-use authentication according to usage. It is expected that the methodology of this study can be applied as a service platform of a logical access control system type in the future.

Purpose of this study grasps use factor of LBS application Mobile service, and it is that analyze actual proof through questionnaire to grasp whether some relation is with value and action determination that is felt of LBS application Mobile service. Distributed all question of 190 copies but disk floret inclination did valid data 171 that clear question and omission remove a lot of questions by type of study among questionnaire of collected 182 wealths. Analyzed factor analysis and authoritativeness to search validity and confidence of questionnaire and used single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis for hypothetical verification. According to verification result, Mobile service that apply position base service usefulness and system quality, adaptedness of Mobile service that apply position base service by leading person affecting in use, acted for connection healthy and felt value is important factor immediately. Usability and social effect, felt expense, privacy did not appear by leading person that keep in mind in this study. Is been related with step that Mobile service that apply position base service is placed. That is, as present childhood, a person who have experience that use service to look for friend is few and usability fairly in last in wide application boundary and this very important person was removed finally in model. This study has sense in terms of study systematically about LBS application service use leading person that is getting into the spotlight worldwide among Mobile service that is injured newly.

A Study on the Facilitating Usage of Online Simple Payment Service (온라인 간편결제 서비스 사용 활성화에 대한 연구)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate which decision factors continue to use the service based on the online simple payment service. In this study, we will examine how to activate the service from the continuing factors through the dual-model theory consisting of personal dedication and constraint dedication which are frequently used in relation marketing. Design/methodology/approach In this study, we investigated the activation of online simple settlement service using factors affecting the preference of the simple payment service based on the dual-model of dedication-based mechanism and constraint-based mechanism. Findings This study confirmed that customer satisfaction and convenience under the dedication -based mechanism were found to be linked to the preference of the simple payment service. Switching cost under the constraint - based mechanism showed that the customer had no binding ability to continue using the service of the current provider. Likewise, preference was found to have a direct effect on the actual frequency of use of the simple payment service, the number of uses compared to the total number of online payments, and willingness to use more.

  • This study examined the sub - dimensions of mobile food platform service characteristics and verified how they affect the usability, usability and re - use intention. The data collection is from February 11, 2019 to February 28, 2019. The researcher visited the food service company and presented the questionnaire by direct interview. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, the ubiquitous connectivity and interactivity of the mobile eater platform service have a significant effect on ease of use, but the situational awareness has no significant effect. Second, ubiquitous connectivity, situational awareness, and interactivity have a significant effect on usability, and ease of use has a significant effect on usability. Third, ubiquitous connectivity has a significant effect on re - use intention, and situational awareness and interactivity have a significant effect on re - use intention. Fourth, ease of use has no significant effect on re-use intention, but usefulness has a significant effect on re-use intention.

Determining Factors of Intention to Actual Use of Charged Long-term Care Services for the Aged (유료노인장기요양보호서비스 이용의사 결정요인)

  • Objectives : To help develop strategies to cope with the changes arising from the rapid aging process by predicting the determining factors of intention to actual use of the charged long-term care services for elderly as perceived by the middle aged who play the major role of supports. Methods : Subjects were the parents (men 177, women 507) in their 40s of the students selected from a university of Busan city. A questionnaire survey was conducted for 4 weeks in October 2003 about the knowledge for long-term care service, the intention of actual use, and the preferences about the type of service suppliers. Data analysis was performed with frequency, chi-square test, and t-test using SPSS program (ver 10.0K), along with data mining using decision tree of Enterprise Miner V8.2 by SAS. Results : About half of the subjects (53.7%) had the actual experiences of elderly supports. Intentions to use the charged services were relatively high in home visiting nursing care service (40.1%) and long-term care facilities service (40.4%), and were influenced by previous knowledge about the services. The intentions were stronger in women, those with higher education, and those with greater income levels. Actual elderly supports were mostly (80%) done by women, and the perceived burdens for the supports were bigger in women and those of lower socioeconomic level. Desired charges were about 10,000 won for the bath service, 20,000 won for the rests services per day, and about 500,000 won for the long-term care facilities service per month. From the result of decision tree analysis, the job professionalism was the most important determining factor of intention to actual use of the services with validation as $63{\sim}71%$. Health and welfare mixed type facilities were preferred, and the most important consideration was the level of professionalism. Conclusions : Intention to actual use of the charged services was largely determined by the aspects of time and cost. Polices to increase the number of service suppliers and to decrease the burdens perceived by actual supporters were strongly recommended.
