  • There have been numerous accelerated aging laboratory tests for evaluating suitability of polymeric materials and devices. Aging test for materials and its full scale device has been conducted, but poor correlation of aging test such as service experience were observed. Service experience plays a key role in the utility section of composite insulators. A meaningful and reliable accelerated aging test is needed for evaluating composite insulator. During the service these insulators are subjected to aging stress such as humidity, pollution, and electrical field, and erosion and tracking of the weathershed occurs. This paper presents the criteria of reliability evaluation and evaluation facilities for 22.9 kV suspension composite insulator. We adopt the criteria of reliability evaluation consist of two test methods. One is CEA tracking wheel test for examining the tracking and erosion performance of composite insulator. The other is multi-stress aging test for examining effects of environmental factors such as UV, temperature, humidity, etc on composite insulator.

고등학교 기숙사 운영시스템 만족도 평가에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Dormitory Users' Satisfaction with Facility Operation Service System)

  • The Korean government has recently implemented the public policy, so-called the Dormitory-based Public High-School Operation. The policy aims at providing the community-based high-quality education for the high-school students in the regional areas including agricultural, sea-side, and mountainous territories. Since the schools will be open for 24 hours a day during a whole year, they need to develop educational programs after regular school hours and violence prevention systems to maintain stable surroundings for study. In doing so, it is required for the schools to set up a systematic dormitory operation & administration program reflecting the demands of the dormitory users. Most of the schools, however, have not experienced operating a dormitory, thereby do not have any clues to successfully build the dormitory system. The main objective of this research is not only to provide the information on the demands of the dormitory users and their concerns with the demands but also to suggest guidelines to better build the system through conducting questionnaire survey to the students in a currently operated dormitory-based high-school.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the community programs of multihousing in Korea through evaluating and analyzing the actual conditions of community in multihousing in U.S.A. This study was conducted by using a field survey and questionaire at the 2 multihousing complexes located in the City of Blacksburg, Virginia, U.S.A. The major findings were as follows: 1) There was a variety of community programs and facilities, such as a monthly newsletter which allowed information to be exchanged among all residents. The programs also provided news on events for the children, teenagers, college students, adults and seniors. These events were held at the club house or pond area. 2) The average degree of satisfaction of these programs and facilities was high. 3) Korea need to follow the example of the U.S.A by i) providing a monthly newsletter periodically to exchange information ii) offering a variety of community programs iii) providing programs regarding district bureau of public administration, kindergarten service, telecommunications office and holding service for package, registered mail, drycleaning, etc.

아동 복지시설의 급식 운영 실태 조사 (Foodservice Management in Children Care Social Welfare facilities)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current foodservice management practices of children care social welfare facilities. Questionnaire were sent to the directors of all 275 children welfare facilities in Korea and 107 returned facilities in korea and 107 returned the complete answers. These questionnaire were answered by manager. Equipments were evaluated by investigators using the evaluation form. staffing structure revealed that most of the facilities had a director, a secretary, nurse, but only 15% of the system hired a dietitian. It showed the shortage of nurse, physical therapists, and dietitian. Therefore, food purchasing, menu planning, food delivery, and the other food service management processes are handled by non-professionals, such as director, secretary, or cooks. Food purchasing money of total budget is $10{\sim}20%$. Food purchasing place in most facilities was market place. Foodstuffs were almost purchased $2{\sim}3$ per weeks. 90% of the welfare facilities were used the menu. Modified food frequency questionnaire were used to get the frequencies of each food items used in menu. The results showed relatively satisfactory in food frequencies, however, this was about what was used in menu, not vat was eaten by the residents. conditions of most equipments in the kitchen were defective specially in dishwashing and sterilization step.

  • The objective of this study is on evaluation process of resort hotel management strategy. Therefore, in this study, we find try to a successful implemantation of resort hotel feasibility study and management strategy by systematizing and materialinzing the theory of resort hotel. And we have also investigated and analyzed the real status of resort hotel and then worked out the problem, and estabilished a plan for feasibility determination of resort hotel, he results of this study are as follow: 1) We need to characterize, matenance, develop the benefits of resort hotel. 2) We need to know how to establish model and facilities of resort hotel. 3) We have to inclease quality and quantity of employee's service. 4) We need to effort to satisfy customer's needs and wants through improvising and enlarging facilities of resort hotel. 5) We need to specialize the quality of F & B division. 6) We need to improve the hotel image, promote sales through promotion tools like avertisement, publicity, personel selling, sales promotion.

고속 채널 기반 네트웍에서 SDP 프로토콜 성능 평가 (A Performance Evaluation for SDP(Socket Direct Protocol) in Channel based Network)

  • As using of network Increases rapidly, performance of system has been deteriorating because of the overhead and bottleneck. Nowadays, high speed I/O network standard, that is a sort of InfiniBand, PCI Express and so on, has come out to improve the limites of traditional I/O bus. The InfiniBand provides some protocols to service the applications such as SDP, SRP and IPoIB. In our paper, We explain the architecture of SDP(Socket Direct Protocol) and its features in channel based I/O network. And so, we provide a result of performance evaluation of SDP which is compared with current network protocol. Our experimental results also show that SDP is better than TCP/IP protocol.

AHP를 활용한 우리나라 예선서비스 품질평가 모형 개발 연구 (Development of Quality Evaluation Model for Tug Service in Korea using AHP)

  • 예선서비스는 항만 안전 확보를 위해 필수적인 서비스이다. 하지만, 상대적으로 낮은 예선시장 진입장벽으로 인해, 예선업체의 수는 증가하였으며, 이에 업체 간 과당경쟁 발생과 서비스의 질적 저하에 대한 우려가 높아지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 예선업자에 대한 서비스 품질평가 제도 마련이 시급하지만, 아직까지 본격적인 시행은 요원한 상황이다. 본 연구의 목적은 예선서비스의 품질 향상과 함께 공공재적 성격을 강화하기 위한 수단으로 인식되는 예선서비스 평가 제도의 시행을 위해 실제적으로 적용이 가능한 예선서비스 품질평가 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌 및 사례연구, 전문가 인터뷰 등을 통해 2개의 대분류와 8개의 중분류, 25개의 세부 평가지표로 구성된 평가모형을 개발하였으며, AHP 분석을 시행하여 평가 항목의 상대적인 중요도를 도출하고 배점의 근거를 마련하였다. 분석 결과, 경영평가보다는 이용자만족도의 가중치가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 경영평가의 세부지표별 가중치는 시설관리-경영관리-재무건전성 순으로 나타나 서비스에 직접적으로 활용하는 시설의 관리가 중요한 것으로 분석되었다. 이용자만족도는 안전성-정시성-서비스만족도-편리성-투명성 순으로 나타나 안전성 확보가 최우선이며, 예선서비스 제공을 위한 프로세스의 편리성과 투명성보다 안전성과 정시성 같은 서비스 본연의 품질 개선이 우선적으로 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

스마트카드 데이터를 활용한 역사별 연계 환승시간 서비스 평가 (Evaluation of Transfer Services based on Transit Smart Card Data)

  • This study analyzed the level of service on passenger transfer between metro and bus based on transit smart card data obtained in 2010. In order to evaluate the level of service on transfer, we defined the service level specially on transfer time at metro stations. The data of passenger transfer time were used in cluster analysis to classify the service level from A to F. The results show that the average transfer time from metro to bus was 6.45 minutes. The number of stations with level of service A(approximately less than 7 minutes) and B(less than 16minutes) were found to be 215 and 227stations respectively. Also, the number of stations with the level of service C and D (greater than 20 minutes for transfer) were found to be 6 stations where any type of improvement on transfer facilities is required.

하수도서비스 평가지표 개발 및 적용에 관한 연구 (The Development and Application of the Performance Indicator for Sewage System Service in Korea)

  • With rapid expansion of the water market and growth of water companies, the recent trends in international water industry show that standardization of service activities concerning management of water and wastewater system (ISO/TC 224, to be issued in the second half year of 2007) is expected to have a large influence on the global water market including liberalization of water service market. In the Draft International Standard(DIS) of ISO/TC224, Performance Indicators(PIs) are suggested to estimate the service activities relating to water and wastewater treatment facilities. PIs have been developed in many countries including some international organization(World Bank, IWA and etc.) for service benchmarking. To evaluate public service level and establish plans to improve service level of wastewater utilities, we developed PIs for 120 items and applied them to 10 sewage utilities in the consideration of their scales, circumstances and conditions. In this study, we verified the applicability of the developed performance indicators(PIs). So, we concluded that PIs developed for the purpose of this study can be a useful tool applicable to objective evaluation of the service level of sewage utilities. Using the evaluation tool of PIs developed, it can also be used as a benchmarking tool in this industry as well as for enhancing the efficiency of operation and management of the sewage system. It will also contribute to the water resource management through determination of investment priorities based on the evaluation results and to raising international competitiveness of the domestic sewage utilities to meet the future opening of the water market.

참고평가를 위한 Conjoint 분석법의 활용시도에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of the Conjoint Analylis for the Reference Evaluation)

  • The focuses and methods in Library science have been changed abreast with the development af library facilities and with the expansion and diversification of its functions. One of current trends in Library science is focussed on the social functions of library: its relations to the public, effective service for the users. and efficieniencies of the management policies, and so. on. To. deal with these issues, we need to borrow methodology from other disciplines such as management, marketing, statistics, etc. This paper is mainly concerned with how we approach to the measurement af services and thus provide tentative standard for evaluating library services. To do. this work properly, we'd better consider the users' needs and expectations. But it is not an easy work since too many factors are involved in the study of the users' needs. Users' needs and expectations are so. varying that it is difficult to find out some general and objective data. That is the reason why although many scholars have urged time after time the necessity of library's effectiveness measurement, few studies demonstrated substantial method for measuring the effectiveness of service. In this paper I propose a device for measuring service: i. e, Conjoint Analysis. Conjoint Analysis, which has originally been developed and applied in marketing research, is used to measure the priorities and preferences of purchasers on the new item. So far as Conjoint Analysis, concerning users' physical and psychological necessities, can numeralize people's needs, it may also be applied to measure service provided by nonprofit organization like library. If this approach prove to be sucessful, I hope this study to make any contribution to the appropriate direction on improving library facilities based on the result from a concret reference evaluation.
